Thanks for showing my ancestral city of Multan. My late father migrated to UK in the 60's where I was born, but we visit Multan every year. 90% of my huge family are still there. It's not set up for tourists tbh but it has a lot of history. Most famous person to have 'visited' was Alexander the Great. He reportedly received a serious arrow wound at a place called 'Khooni Burj'. I hope you get to see the old walled area and the fort on the 'Killah'. Also the mausoleums of some famous Sufi saints are present there. And yes, Multanis defo love their sweet stuff, and nobody in Multan goes any length of time without an ice-cream from Babu's 😁. It's hotter there than usual atm but it can reach up to 50°c in summer!. Enjoy, stay safe...and look after your stomachs.

2:40 is an inaccuracy Luke. India is also a massive meat eating nation. Just the beef is hard to find, and there is an abundance of vegetarian options that is just so colourful and cheap and yum that it tends to dominate the street food scene. But India has absolutely insane meat dishes, and super vibrant. Like, each state has multiple varieties. Love to Pakistan from India. Take care doston, hope only love and peace prevails :)

Sohn-Halwa is condensed milk (Khoo'Yaa) + wheat-sprouts coarsely ground + desi-ghee + cardamom etc + sugar . . . cooked for hours.
