ive been running seeker in Hydra for a while and he definitely has a 50% chance per hit to provoke. ive seen him get resisted on the 1st hit and land it on the 2nd multiple times
I just booked up my Master Butcher during CvC. :) Also I think that Hydra is a lot like math. I had a math professor once who said that the reason people hate math is because they don’t understand how to do it. Once they do understand it they no longer hate it.
@@NubRaids I just use him as a taunter for decay, that head drives me nuts. I could have be having a perfect run and if that head shows up I am done in 10 mins. I just use BK for taunts only, as he and seeker are my most reliable champs. Bivalds A1 (unbooked) is not reliable and the debuffs for Kantras hardly works out for me.
Plus, he heals himself 10% every turn and it can be a crit if I remember correctly. I've been thinking about building one that I have had in the vault at 50 for a couple years. I tried him in FW a long time ago then pulled better champs but I've thought about bringing him out for hydra since he's basically free to book.
What they were thinking with Bivald is teaching people a lesson about skipping fusions. Watch Lonatharil end up being great for the new head coming somehow.
How Can I make sure my Krisk always has more buff than others? Sometimes I lost the fight because Krisk doesn’t have more buffs to attract mischief, how slow or how fast I have to build him what to look for in the build?
You guys are lite on Warchief, he's a lot better than you give him credit for. He's BY FAR the best lockdown of decay in the whole game as it keep decay provoked the whole entire fight with no worry on something not landing. I build him with 5000+ Def and 100% crit rate, 150% crit damage and with giant slayer. He can bring in about 4 mil worth of damage. I know 4 mil doesn't seem like a lot, but he's support with some damage and makes the fight a 5 on 3 attack. I never even bother attacking decay unless warchief ends up as the target soon to be eaten. I fully booked my warchief as a low spender who is always is low on books and I have zero regrets. I have warchief on my top team and it's a 70+mil key on brutal. Wanting to try on NM but clan hasnt unlocked that yet. Dont worry too much about the passive, it's useless as you mentioned, but dont ignore the 3 hitter A1 either. Honestly, might be worth it for you guys to hop on to a lesser account that has a warchief and you'll see how much easier warchief makes hydra for an account not as strong as yours. To have a video about provoke champs on hydra and then at the end have a segment on warchief that goes like "oh yeah, and i guess there's this guy, but he doesnt bring anything else" might be the biggest swing and miss from any video you've ever made. Again, both great content creators with some of the most innovative raid minds in the game, but I would be willing to bet that neither of you have ever tried warchief on hydra.
Check out sigmond ....a2 attacks 2x each hit has 75% chance to place 1 turn provoke and 100% chance of placing decreased attack for 2 turns.....the attack down handy against wrath!
Well Nub, fellow Irishman here, have you tried countess LIx on hydra at all? I have her at 50 and was thinking she brings some utility but hesitant to invest. Everything i see is about her and astralon, never her alone.
Nice video, can’t believe you mentioned Master Butcher before Warchief though. As the fight drags on and you have less time to free your champs from the heads, if he gets off his cleanse you’re done. Warchief (affinity depending) is the most consistent provoker in the game.
But like we talk about ...that's all he does. You need people that can be 3, 4 hell...5 jobs in 1 for a complete hydra team in order to cover ALL 6 heads
@@piersbraaten Depends on if you can afford him being only a provoker + damage. If you have enough utility from amazing champs like Krisk & Tuhanarak or even Nekmo, then I see why. Not many champs fullfill 4-5 roles in hydra like they do; so if missing those big ones, it can be hard to fit him in without losing other important buffs/debuffs/etc
@@SuziPlaysYT Agreed, I think with every other provoker you'll end up needing a secondary provoker. I liked what you said about Skull Lord, but I think he'll be more viable for most players on Hard/Brutal. The gear required to get the speed+resist+acc+survivability is pretty intense. For me I can get enough utility/damage from the other champs to make it worth using Warchief and having provoke up 100% of the time. Also, it's not huge but he can steal buffs on his A2, so that can be a small help, lol.
@@piersbraaten I use skull-lord for my NM key personally - i have him at 271 speed which is actually faster than needed to go twice every round with dec spd and inc spd in the picture; he's easy to get stats on - so probably the best for nm actually - his base stats are crazy good
Everyone runs Scyle in a stun set... which I get. But I put mine in Provoke set. Call me crazy, but she tanks well. I use her in DT Hard, and as a nice supplement as a Hydra Taunter. 2x hits a1 AND 2x hits on a2. Plus... the rest of her kit. So yummy.
hmmm maybe I missed it but what about Nari the Lucky in reflex or relentless? Double up for iron twins and hydra. A2 100% decrease accuracy and resistance. A3 provoke and counter.
Seeker is definitely 30-50% (booked) per attack. You can see it clearly when you face an opposing Ultimate Deathknight where the first hit provokes UDK and the second hit provokes your original target. So you can actually see him provoke two champions in the one turn. Also you didn't mention Visix? 3 turn CD and an AOE 100% decrease speed ... she's not bad right?
I think Warchief and Kantra are the best provokers. Hes Warchief only does that and Kantra is only 75% success rate, but making her fast in the lead with a Shamael and she just keeps on going, and she was a fusion so many players have her
My boy Templar is great for FTP provoke, it's a four hit at random but it's a lot of fun and is a decent supplemental champion. Him and master butcher do well enough on my FTP
The best provoke on an A1 is on the Barbarian Rare Sentinal, 85% when booked on a crit hit. resistance aura, weak dec atk and big heal reduction plus self heals that can crit. really not a bad rare. No one brings him up though.
Perfect video - just on this reset I've gone from 7mil 1 key on Normal (dont laugh at me) - to literally 1.2 mil. My champs just cant fucking do anything when that head is active

Dang it, noone ever mentions Angar. He provokes and reflects and he is void affinity. He puts reflect on the whole team. Do people not have him? I do and I want to know if I should build him lll
He's the same argument we have for Warchief not being "enough". Sure, if you have prefect hydra champs like Krisk & Tuhanarak that are like 4-5 roles in 1, you can fit him in. But otherwise often a little more utility is needed. We try to kill 2 birds with one stone, or 4-5 in these cases. At least for talking high-end hydra dealing with all 6 heads.
@@kieranklein2527 bad take, I 1 key NM with him in my team. People are so busy saying all he does is provoke, but then talking about needing secondary provokers. With Warchief you don’t need another provoker. As long as the affinity is good he’s the best at the 1 thing he does.

Man no love for Black Knight, he has a 75% chance to provoke on his A1. Great provoke as long as the decay is not weak affinity.
Never any love for him, such a solid champ
Yeah he's pretty decent, but his damage and passive suck and it can be tricky to weave his A2 in (compared to say Seeker, Kantra, or Bivald!)
