- In this video I explain how I built my DIY Paint Rack for RC paints which fits behind a door so it's out of the way. As many people do, I had drawers full of RC paints that was taking up space. So I needed to be able to store those paints in and clean and safe way without taking up too much space. Of course I went for the DIY approach as it was cheap and easy.

Thanks mate! I haven't done a room tour since 2020 I think so it is well overdue. I'll see if I can juggle stuff around and make it all look semi-presentable and try to get a room tour video out in the next few weeks.
I have a lot of cars packed up and stored in the shed. So with nowhere to display them there will be a lot missing from the video. I see what I can do over the next few weeks and try to get a video out. 🙂👍

A couple of your cars have paint schemes that are reminiscent of some vintage dirt bikes .

Mick that looks like work , so you could imagine how happy i was when the local pharmacy down the street was throwing out many multiple vitamin storage racks in thick hard white plastic stair casing the display cause shit ive still got kits built with unfinished body paint since before the cv 19 bs, but i do love the tidyness of that rack you got and as they say here in Straya- Nothing like a nice Rack

Yeah I figured I'd make it a decent size so I don't need to tack more on later. Although I am thinking of adding tubes to the side to hold Vinyl rolls and maybe something for masking tape. So there may be an update in the future.
I went with the gloss so I can just wipe it clean. After 4 cans of paint it's about 5mm thick too. 🤣

Geeeez the tape and roll holders will be good, I'm always losing our tapes, might have to do the same to ours. If we ever get our room started and finish we'll try and build one same as yours. Got heaps of house paint so that'll save us buying cans too.

I hear ya! I have my tape in smaller drawers, usually with other stuff. I think it's time they had their own space.
