Been busy building a paddle shed, so not much paddling this spring in the river.

- Normally I paddle a lot, both paddle boarding and kayaking but not this spring. Spring it the best time of the year for me and it feels like I missed the spring.

The shed is looking great. So you're getting some nice weather well I'm happy for you, as for here, I have not been out for two weeks because of the weather and it looks like it's going to be another week of rain for us. Bloody good job you picked that can up again Hehe

Excellent work on your paddle shed. Looks really great. You seem to have better weather than us in the South West of England. Due to work, I am only able to paddle on weekends, but it's been a tad too windy for me, so I spend my time tidying up the garden and planting new flowers
Thanks, I think it´s going to be great when inside it finished. Yes really warm for Sweden this time of year. Next week we will get a mix of rain and sunshine, we need some rain. Hope you get better weather next week. I know the feeling, when you are free from work, it´s rain or are to windy!🥲 You should have a river like me, on the river wind is not an issue.🙌
@@danerik.westerlind You can have some of our rain, if you want 🙂 Next weekend, I am working, so that's another weekend I cannot do. Probably my luck, the weather next weekend will be perfect 😞 We have the river Avon, but I really need to get my own iSUP out of storage after Winter and inflate it, just to make sure it looks OK.
I'm looking to buy some shoes/boots for paddling boarding and can be also used for walking on stones and pebbles. Do you have any recommendations? Looking at a brand called Palm. Not sure if you heard of these in Sweden. They do 3mm to 5mm neoprene, but as a Spring, Summer and early Autumn paddler, I am not sure if I need 3mm or 5mm neoprene
@@marksmall8692 So you work weekends like me sometimes, I have work weekend every third week. We will get rain this week but I think you normally have more rain than us.
@@danerik.westerlind I am currently working on a project, that requires me to work some weekends. Living in the South West England, we get rain and wind from the Atlantic
We are finally having lovely Autumn weather in Sydney. The wind has dropped and it has stopped raining. It was 22 degrees C today.
It must feel wonderful to have the sun on your face after the cold Swedish winter. Your paddle shed looks great and we are all looking forward to seeing the inside when it is ready.
My husband bought me a new ocean ski. It's a "Nordic Kayaks Exrcize" It's very light weight and stable. I had my first paddle yesterday and we are going out again tomorrow. I don't know when I will ever master the SUP board. The water is getting cold and I know I will be falling in a lot.

Oh, your autumn are a really Swedish summer, our weather for two weeks have been a Swedish summer but in spring.
It´s wonderful but also hot to be in the sun, not used to the heat😂, to sit in the shadow on days of 20C is really awesome but to hot when I been working on the paddle shed.
I have been to NK head office in Stockholm and testes some surf skis, the one I´m thinking of, if I choose to buy a surfski is just that one you bought, Nordic Kayaks Exrcize, but for the moment I´m more towards buying a used kayak. Hope you will have a great time in your new Exrcize!!!🤗
@@danerik.westerlind Wow! That is so cool that you have bee to NK HQ in Stockholm. The Exrcize is light and stable. It's more comfortable to paddle than my old ski. Well done with your kayak shed.
@@janets3549 yes, I guess that is cool and near for me. Normally everything is in another country far away. That´s why I consider a NK Exrcize, because it´s so light! But I think for the moment a kayak would be the thing for me that want to have a lot of camping gear.
