I don't mind the addition of the drums, it's less monotonous than a metronome, and helps to show dynamics/accent placement in the song for me but mileage will vary.
Extremely useful form of tutorial.

It’s close but not correct. You have to keep the high A with your pinky with the right hand on all four chords of the first part of the phrase.

Bad record it keeps cutting out not a usable version. And the drum machine is over bearing and out of sync. This is horrible!
