Hello!!! you have very good lessons! I'd like you to record an accompaniment lesson with possible melody options (for improvisation and possible composition of a song from the text), for example: in a melody of 2, 3, 4 notes per measure (eighth, sixteenth, triplets), based on harmony, for example: in major 1-3-4-5 or 1-6-2-5 ... if possible ... Thank you !!!
Just saw this. You do a fantastic job. You're playing is wonderful and teaching is on point. I play by ear, so of course I have to go through this anytime I have a learn a new song. My band already play 4 Journey songs, but I'm just going to learn this so I can present it, when they think they want another one. Thank you.
This was a great lesson on one of my favorite bands of the 80s…would love to see some Michael McDonald of Doobie Brothers songs as well as some Slow Blues songs ❤🎹🎶
FUCKING FINALLY!!!!! You have no idea how many tutorials give me the wrong chords, wrong inversions, wrong key, holy fucking shit. I should've known it was a minor 4 sound at the end but nobodys fucking saying that for some reason.
Thank you... this is so inspiring and easy to understand. Do you have the sheet music that would go with this video? It'd be interesting to see sheet music as played in this video...I'm a beginner. :)
@@playpianobyear I'm glad you're uploading again. I love your style and you're teaching just above my skill level where it challenges me quite a bit but I don't feel like it's impossible. Thank you for that!
@@fivetimesyo Good to know! And yes, I'm now focusing my attention on uploading again. I had to get my online courses + mentoring all set up (took me a few years) lol...
Gracias MAESTRO. Te voy a contar algo. No entiendo nada de inglés, sin embargo, entendi tu clase a la perfección. La música es mágica para el alma. Y este tema es precioso. de nuevo, Gracias por compartir.
Man the “chord” part of the left hand you teach is simple as far as the intro and verse, but the way you’re actually playing it (walking on the left hand) is so difficult to get down! I’m a noob obviously.
All good bro but that last chord in the chorus isn't a g minor, it's actually a c7add9 listen to the bass and you can notice! also if you listen carefully to the harmony you can distinguish the tritone of the C7... however all the tutorial is excellent i came here to find the outro hahaha
I know I'm so spoiled, but I just cringe when Steve stays on an A for "Arms" instead of going up to the B...thar extra rise just MAKES that song for me...
Ok this version is what I'm looking for ! Thank You !

Is there a reason for not using the thumb in the left hand? Very beginner here. Trying to understand.
No thumb for simplicity. Eventually you should integrate your thumb though :)

This should have more than 100 likes! How come this only have l00+?😞 btw nice tutorial👍🏻
Please teach the song if I should love again by Barry Manillow.
That g min (add2) on “believe what I say” is supposed to be a C9.
Ths... live you

I'm so frustrated I really wanna learn this song so I can propose to my lady, im crying at times
Don’t do It ! You will be crying for many years

Netflix recently add a new button to “not for me” & “I like it” and it says “love this!” And I wish UA-cam added a “love this!” button

can you do a video lesson on Journey -walks like a lady
“Something like that”
Different than the original version
Arréglate tu camara porque no se ven algunas notas de la mano izquierda pareces principiante
I know I'm so spoiled, but I just cringe when Steve stays on an A for "Arms" instead of going up to the B...thar extra rise just MAKES that song for me...
you kinda rush it all after the opening, and less talk more playing.
Too much talking and stopping and explaining. Just play the notes and let us follow along.
You wouldn’t believe how many comments I get like this that are complete polar opposites…thanks for watching ❤️
