I sure would hate to think what this world would be like if there were no farmers in it. Thanks to you and all the other farmers that put food on our tables.
Very nice video, your farm reminds me a lot of our farm. We've never fed corn fodder bales before but it looks like the bales are pretty good for the cows, especially with the cold winter weather. I suppose it helps keep their energy and protein levels up.
Twenty five years ago I sold John Deere tractor parts and I remember the seasoned parts salesman said " John Deere stands behind everything they sell except the manure spreader." Amazing what you remember!
will that's the part haveing animals especially that many, but yeah he's right framers that have animals they have to feed, check on them 24,7 day nice night, especially for calving season time. someone has to always check on their animals. day a night.
Wow looks like a lotta work. Glad I raise beef cattle. Just keep the round bales out there and let them go to town... (well, and it helps being in south Texas where we only get maybe an inch or two of snow every 5-10 years... ) Later! OL J R :)
That's a bummer you don't have free natural gas, so many farms in my area still have rights to minerals and gas. The main barn and farm house are kept toasty warm all winter long
+How Farms Work hahaha no way! My dads cousin got married in Potosi . I was curious because I live in Denmark (that's about 20 minutes outside of Green Bay) . Anyways keep up the great content
+John Ford organic mean grass feed they do allow the cow to pasture in the summer but there is the reason called winter and also they keep there cow in during the winter so it hard just to feed grain and silage cow do not get much food value without mixing in the feeds in which he was speaking about.

What happens to the old dairy cows that stop producing milk
Love the vids brother! Subbed!! Thank you for the work you do! Without YOU we wouldn't eat. Thanks bud keep up the great work
Automatic barn cleaner...had one of those about 25 yrs ago. Still hated shoveling into pit.
I'ma city boy, but I wouldn't mind staying in the country side to see all this natural beauty :)
U should do a vid of where u park up all of your farm vehicles and fly your drone over them and tell everyone what they are! If that makes sense!
love your videos and I want to be a farmer when I grow up.
Holy crap, havent seen a PATZ barn cleaner since the 70's. All the small dairy ops are gone, farmers retired. Rest got BIG.
Take a look at my channel. I make videos on my 40 cow dairy farm
I have one for them heaters in my barn to
Enjoyed and liked.
Always something to do on a dairy farm. People do not realize it is a 7 day a week lifestyle, not a regular job.
that a patz conveyor,? we used them for moving wood chips, on a chip burning furnace
we just bough a berg and it looks just like that but ours goes faster
What is the average size dairy farm around you and how many are there?? Thanks !!
Filling the honey wagon as my Grandpa used to say

Isn't it loads of fun when the gutter cleaner gets filled with water and you spend half a day bailing out the water with a 5 gallon pail?
Actually, we usually just throw some silage in and that pushes it out fairly nicely. There have been some pretty nasty cases of flooding though.
We'll do that once we get about 3\4 of the water gone. When ours fills up with water it gets filled full.

You should know what you are feeding the cows. I take it its not an organic operation.

You are going to get stuck
