I feel like theres two possible routes for this to go: Yuji lives, because Yuji has constantly been brought back by people on the brink, as if only to not throw dirt on their name. Likewise Megumi has already gave up, entirely. But I feel it could also be a switchup, where it goes from only one will live to one will die, via Yuji possibly not unlocking his domain to the ending, it being a shrine of benevolence, and Yuji willingly giving up himself and his earthly ties to his being surrounded by his friends, in order to bring them back, dying in one sense of being the only one to die in order to bring the others back, reaching an enlightenment.

This one will live one will die thing is so good. Because by keeping Nobara’s fate uncertain and unrelated to the Sukuna, both scenarios are not only possible but both Gojo’s fate is also up to Gege.
1) If Nobara is dead, Gojo can then return and everyone but her lives. Or Gojo can die and then Megumi or Yuji can die.
2) If Nobara is revealed alive, either Gojo returns and one of Yuji and Megumi dies or Gojo dies.
So both Gojo living or dying, both Nobara living or dying, both one dies or one lives is STILL possible! 😭😖😭
@@FengrekiThe simpler option could also be Gojo returning (either through domain or body-is-the-soul trickery) and Yuji killing Sukuna without ending Megumi. THEN Nobara is just REVEALED to be alive: accomplishing one will live ending.

So I personally believe yuji will be the only survivor, and the only thing that will keep him going is Megumi's final words:
"Thank you, for saving me, Yuji"
If not "Thank you Yuji, for saving me" it may be a call back of that one scene from season 1, where Sukuna pulls out Yuji's heart and he comes back and Yuji says "Live a long life" to megumi

I personally think Megumi will be the only person left if only 1 person lives. Yuji wants to save Megumi from Sukuna. He most likely feels guilty for what happened to Megumi since Sukuna tricked him into a binding vow. Yuji would sacrifice himself to rid the world of Sukuna by pulling his soul back into his body and ending his life after everything is finished. This would be the type of push Megumi needs to be a better person and lead the Jujutsu Society going forward.
I do think that Megumi's soul was corrupted by the Bathing Ritual though so Megumi will probably start the merger and fight Yuji as the final battle.

Gege likes to foreshadow future events with his colored illustrations, and one of the most recent ones shows Yuji standing in front of Sukuna, The Dharmachakra Wheel behind Sukuna and the Six Eyes behind the Wheel.
With the Six eyes having made a return through Satoru Yuta, the Wheel still remains.
Taking in consideration how the creation of Cursed Tools was a mystery for current age Sorcerers, and how they now have figured out the key to the creation of a Cursed Tool is the sacrifice of a Soul, I'm betting Megumi is gonna peace out and gift the Wheel to Yuji.

If we're taking everything from the exhibition at face value, Gege has confirmed that Nobara and Gojo are dead. So, logically speaking, it’s between Megumi and Yuji, and in all honesty, I think Yuji is cooked. Gege likes killing off characters that readers like, and with how Yuji has gone through so much and developed so much as a character, in lieu with recent events, it’s pretty obvious that Gege is pushing Yuji hard on us. It makes sense that the only one left alive will be Bumgumi, the character who has been absent for so much of the Sukuna boss battle arc.
It was foreshadowed from Ch. 1 of the manga that Yuji would die to save his friends. His grandfather said "die surrounded by friends who love you", or something similar. Yuji will die to defeat the merger and/ or Sukuna so Megumi can achieve his dream of having a normal life.
Kenjaku also stated that the cycle of curses will continue as long as Yuji and Sukuna are alive. Saving Megumi seems a like a big moment for Yuji's character as well.

@@antoniocarlosoliveira9146 It's hard to say what Kenjaku meant by that at this point. Curses might have evolved to what they are today because of Sukuna or their existence might have to do with Yuji's family. Kenjaku created the culling games to cause humanity/Jujutsu to evolve.
@@antoniocarlosoliveira9146there’s a theory that JJK is some sort of time loop and Kenjaku is one of the only persons (because of his cursed technique) to be able to live outside of this loop. And to think, he is partially responsible of this loop. So could it mean that power that Sukuna has is something that keeps curses be strong? If so, I still can’t understand what Yuji is doing here. Maybe he need to take Sukuna’s role of being the one who keeps curses to appear.
But Yuji’s existence is a bug itself because Jin, Sukuna’s dead twin reincarnation, NEVER had a role in the story.

Other way around if anything. Megumi has spent more time being a secondary soul than Yuji has because his Soul is that much stronger. Remember, he had Sukuna under lock and key lol

I can’t see Megumi surviving at the end. With all the damage to his body, there’s no way he is living, especially with his heart still damaged.
To be clear about the "slash that cuts the world" the binding vow Sukuna made cannot be rescinded. He basically chose to establish conditions on his world slash for every utilization afterwards in order to fire it off when he did at Gojo. This means unless he finds a work-around, there is no way to fire off the slash without the conditions as he made them a requirement for it to work. Another way to look at it is he agreed to nerf the slash so long as he could fire it off once immediately.
It is actually a big win for Gojo in forcing that, as by the time Sukuna pulled the trigger he already had the elements for the slash in place (meaning Gojo could no longer stop the development of the slash). If Gojo had not pushed Sukuna to try use it when he did, and Sukuna still won (by let's say transforming and then firing it), he would have easily dispatched everyone else as the world slash would no longer be as telegraphed as it was due to the conditions placed on it.
Sukuna trying to use the world slash as it would have been without the vow would be like trying to use an exploit that was patched. It ain't gonna work.

Its truly confusing seeing as how we dont know everything about the cast just the bottom of it all and theres sm more to learn before the end of this series i want to know before the death of whoever being sukuna or yuji.
Knowing gege i feel the tides turning towards sukuna because yuji dying makes sense he wants to make things right and die surrounded by others i feel like as he's dying he'll see his friends and teacher all around him (just a guess im not confident in that happening) but knowing gege it doesnt feel like this would end with a happy story and thats fine the heroes dont always need to win.

he said that he already decided on the fate of Megumi but not Yuji, which means Megumi is cooked and won't survive, he is just making his mind up to bring back Nobara as the one who lives or Yuji XD, that is why her death isn't confirmed leaving things open like that allows him to change his mind and make the decision later.

@@stabbx it can't because if he was the last one standing, Gege wouldn't have said Yuji fate isn't decided yet but Megumi's fate is, it is a contradiction, because if Megumi survives then Yuji dies by default if you take the "one survives statement" to be true , but if Megumi dies then there is no contradiction, meaning Yuji in that case could live or die: if he lives then Nobara dies, if he dies Nobara lives and Megumi's fate is already decided he won't survive.

is it possible for Yuji to become a curse who's purpose is to kill curses? He could die and potentially turn into a curse, maybe due to regret of not being able to save anyone etc and that would make his speech earlier to Mahito even more terrifying.

Yuji dying and Megumi living physically but not coming back mentally would be a fitting ending or Gojo comes back somehow and nobody needs to die
I can see Yuji dying going like this: Sukuna kills him in order to advance the merger, but as he’s about to activate it, Yuji comes back with a damn near unlimited amount of CE flowing out of him like a heavenly light. Turns out he made a binding vow to return to life with every ounce of ability he would ever have, but under the limit that he had to kill Sukuna and die with him. He does this, in my headcanon, through his domain. The technique he would imbue the domain with would be the memory altering one we don’t have a name for. He’d activate his domain and it would catch Sukuna off guard to where he couldn’t counter. Being inside, Sukuna would question the technique as the landscape turns into the snowy forest that he used against Mahito, and Yuji would just start menacingly walking towards him, going on about how much suffering he’s caused, yet how he himself has suffered so much. “Sukuna, the one who will teach you about love…” the landscape changes to Malevolent Shrine, minus all the bones so it’s just a shrine atop a lake surrounded by darkness with small fires burning all around, “…is me”. Sukuna tries slashing Yuji but he just tanks it. He tries thinking about just how odd the domain is when Yuji storms up and slams him, and as he opens his eyes, he’s back in the Heian era, sparring with his nephew. They speak jovially with each other but at the end of the conversation, Sukunas eyes widen and he realizes this is the domain, and the scene blips between the peaceful, happy Heian era and Yuji menacingly walking up to him in his domain. Yujis mind altering gives Sukuna the ability to see how his life would’ve been with his Twin and Yuji as a real family and it’s starts driving Sukuna crazy, he’s throwing out attacks at Yuji like Mahito was throwing rocks. As Yuji gets right in front of him, Sukuna just stands there mentally broken, not understanding reality from Yujis ability, then Yuji pulls him into a hug and says, “Cmon Uncle, let’s go there, huh?” A single tear runs down Sukunas face, having never known this compassion, he asks if what he saw could be real, to which Yuji says are you ready to find out? Yuji then pierces Sukunas chest with his hand, and pulls out a black and red aura wisp (Sukunas soul). The domain closes, and Megumis body returns to normal. Yuji restored his soul when he reached in to grab Sukuna, so Megumi just looks at Yuji and cries out his name. Yuji responds, saying “Everyone deserves to be happy at some point, and this way, nobody else has to die” as he starts to decay/flake away having absorbed Sukunas soul into his own. Megumi cries out one last time and Yujis final words are “I’m sorry to leave you alone, you were like a brother to me, take care of them all”. Yuji finishes crumbling away and Megumi is left crying at the sky; unsure of how to continue, eventually becoming the next Sukuna. Sorry for the massive dump, just wanted to get that off my brain somewhere

I think it could also be interpreted as their character dying not the physical body yknow? its like how teen geto "died" after hidden inventory arc, it could mean that either yuji or megumi (probably megumi) has their character personality so changed by the events that take place their old selves are considered dead? For the Inumaki cursed speech question it was specified in the cultural school exchange arc thing (where kyotou students fought the tokyou students) that you can guard against cursed speech by directing cursed energy to protect your ears but you need to be consciously doing it which is why most people would otherwise ignore it and not think about it. 10:37
I can totally see Gege pulling a 'three live' scenario out of this with Yuta being trapped in Gojo's body. Kenjaku's technique makes it so that in the 'eyes' of Jujutsu, there's no difference between a stolen body and a regular body, as seen when the six-eyes couldn't discern Kenjaku from Geto
I definitely feel like Gojo will come back because in the beginning Gege emphasize so much on that part that he would win. Also when Gojo dies, he actually thinks of the airport scene as not heaven but a dream which makes me think that somehow Shoko could heal Gojo and he could come back.
Also I think people are only thinking about sukuna right now but forgetting that kenjaku is still alive. I definitely don't buy the fact that kenjaku died this easily. I definitely feel like he is the big deal.
My theory about Nobara is that maybe she is alive but not able to fight anymore. Because first the blond hair dude says there is a chance she could survive and why does he say that. Also when yuji asks megumi about Nobara he doesn't respond anything at all. Also Gojo mentions nanami but he doesn't mention Nobara. Ik they weren't that close but again Nobara was his student. At least he could have said something about her. I definitely feel like Nobara state is really vague right now. Either 1)she could come back to fight sukuna like todo did or 2) she is in coma or unable to fight 3) she is dead or the last one ok it's impossible but still 4) kenjaku takes over Nobara. I think no.4 is a really good theory because megumi is taken over by sukuna and Gojo is taken over by yuta and Nobara is taken over by kenjaku. It would be cool if theory 4 comes true.
Honestly, after hearing that Megumi was supposed to be the original MC of JJK, and that Gege has teased us that he’s working on a new Manga, it would fit perfectly if Yuji died and Megumi lived. Assuming that Gege’s next manga will be JJK related it could setup for Megumi to either be the main character again, or the new strongest main antagonist. Most of the old cast is currently being “retired” so being the new MC leading or Gojo would probably be better.
Also, the Hollow Purple better not kill Sukuna. This man has taken so much from us and deserves to get a Star Platinum level ass beating from Yuji before he goes.
And one more additional thing, if Sukuna and Megumi’s souls were separated, what actually happens? Like what happened to Megumi’s original body after Sukuna transformed into his Hein Era form? Does the transformation just revert? No one actually talks about this.

I think that Megumi and Yuji are going to have a situation like Geto and Gojo, and Yuji will be a lot stronger from the sukuna fight and Megumi will be on par with the rest of the special grades because of how much jujutsu was used in his body, (essentially having crazy totalities from the shikigami that died and having cleave, dismantle, and the fire arrow), and that Megumi will have no hope and might turn evil somehow and start the merger, like how Geto turned and wanted to kill all non-sorcerers, and megumi will have a falling out with yuji the way geto had one with gojo
Just asking, if the way Gege worded it was being "dispatching/removing them from the story", and he stated that he always intended for Nanami to die in Shibuya. Could it be that Nobara is simply out of action/not able to fight anymore due to her injuries? Unless I haven't heard the translation where Gege outright states that Nobara DIES, it isn't out of the realm of possibilites. That could also be why Nobara is still left so vague, even after the exhibition.

Your voice sounded like you were about to break down during the video and honestly hearing you talk about what Yuji might feel with the loss of his four closest friends,and not just them but people like Choso,and others who've died for all this effort. It's truly just sad and honestly this manga is just becoming more tragic as it goes on,and all I want is for the main cast to stick it to Sukuna and have Yuji or Megumi give him what he deserves and break his ideals and make him pay.

As we know blue is pretty much the base color, and then a black flash is of course mainly black but it has red energy in it as well
So maybe red cursed energy is to show the next evolution of a users cursed energy control/power but then with the theme of JJK mixing red and blue as the ultimate control of the users cursed energy and power output. So it would make sense that Mahito had purple cursed energy showing that he achieved pretty much his maximum potential by the end of Shibuya before his fate was ultimately sealed. So it would very much be interesting if, hear me out, Yuji's cursed energy becomes purple like Mahito's by the end of it all, showing that he's reached his "maximum" potential and also being a parallel to Mahito and his fate, going back to the "I'm you." moment. (Could get real crazy and say Yuji will end up having *black* cursed energy as the proof of true maximum cursed energy control and power, especially with him being *the man chosen by the sparks of black*
Purple is the color of Cursed Spirit Cursed Energy, while blue is the color of human/sorcerer Cursed Energy. That's all. Jogo also had purple Cursed Energy.
It's either Yuji lives and everyone dies, or everyone but Gojo lives (or maybe nobara)
In the light novel it doesnt affect the other bad guys around the cursed speech user too and only affects nobara. Even though it wasnt uses the same way as toge's and was weaker its another example in a different scenario.

alr i made up this theory while high on that Nobara copium so that's why this theory might be insane but hear me out.
Yuta dies to sukunas hands, leaving gojos body lifeless once more, and then a few chapters later, yuji defeats sukuna, giving his life for megumi's. But after everything megumi went through, he kills himself. Then the POV switches to a hospital bed, but half of the view is just black. Then we see Nobara sitting in a hospital bed, on life support. after a while of rehabilitation, she goes back to Jujutsu High, to see everyone only to find out from the people still alive, that Gojo, Yuji, and Megumi are dead. So then Nobara falls into a depressed state, and moves back to the country side with her parents (If she has parents)

I could see yuji dying, and then megumi taking gojo’s place as the strongest by fully harnessing the ten shadows technique. I could also see their deaths motivating him to become a leader and proactively change jujutsu society so there wouldn’t have to be a strongest… like his benefactor, gojo 🥺

We know he’s still in there somewhere bc geto was still in there when kenjaku had his body as shown in season 2
Only reason geto didn’t come back was bc kenjaku surprised him yuta wouldn’t surprise gojo
Plus why even show geto was still in there if it led no where only answers are either to for shadow someone else regaining their body after it’s been taken (gojo) or to show geto was planned to return at some point but that story line got dropped
I think gojo will retake his body for a few minutes and then fully die plus Gojos death just isn’t a good enough death for his character so imo if he doesn’t comeback it’s only because gege hates us (I could also see him coming back and being the only one left but I don’t want that)
As for Nobara my main issue with her not coming back is her death wasnt convincing enough

Yuji is the one who survives the four but becomes so close to death that he ends up assimilating Nobara's soul and Megumi's soul inside him, making him become some kind of new hybrid curse puppet/curse object.
So, Sukuna is using the ten shadows technique to armament 'shrine' due to Gojo destroying parts of it, and as not to leave it defenseless, just covered it in the beasts in an amalgamation similar to Agito. The hole in it is probably from where Gojo shot Sukuna into it with Reversal Red. If Sukuna has shrine destroyed, even once, could be potentially breaking a binding vow that could cause him to lose, that's why he's putting in the effort to protect it so well, instead of using the ten shadows technique to attack with the shadows individually, they're all used to guard shrine. 🤔

One thing is clear that Gege always tries to surprise the readers somehow so I don't think it's going to be simple as that and currently I feel like Gege will make Sukuna hop to Yugo's(Yuta+Gojo) body.

I agree. I just feel like it would make more sense considering how much Yuji wants to save Megumi. I could see Megumi honoring Yuji's sacrifice and leading the next generation since he's so familiar with how corrupt the world is. Yuji would be remembered as hero by the Jujutsu Society for killing Sukuna.

I’ve always assumed they the default color is blue and cursed get different colors like mahito and sukunas and the only exception to this being yuta which is presumably due to him being bound to rika
The punishment for Sukuna trying to use World Cutting Slash without pointing is that the attack will fail.
Now that I think about it, Sukuna did not use his hand sign for the WCS against Yuta. It is still debatable if that was a WCS but considering that it cut Yuta so badly despite Sukuna being heavily nerfed and despite Yuta's noticeably stronger defense, I would lean towards it being a WCS.
If so, it would mean Sukuna has started to use subtraction on the WCS. Remember it was stated that mastery of jujutsu is the extent to which you can bypass the requirements of a technique when using it. Sukuna has gotten to the point where he is bypassing the chants and or the hand signs for using WCS. If so, Sukuna just has to point (because of the binding vow) at Yuta and then cut him in two again. Most people will call this another asspull but the whole thing had been set up right from the time he used WCS on Yuta and Maki. He did not use hand signs for both of those WCS.
I’ve been living from the last video he’s talking about I’ve been stuck just reading trying to figure out who it would be. If Yuji lives though I can see him being like Gojo, teaching new students and killing curses that appear, there probably won’t be any more Sukuna’s but he’ll kill them anyway
@@elijahlevant Yeah, It's just that Yuji's goal in life was to help people and be surrounded by his friends when he dies. Sukuna is Yuji's uncle so it would make alot of sense if Yuji pulled Sukuna back into his body and then killed himself to end their family line. Kenjaku said that the cycle of curses would continue as long as Sukuna and Yuji were still alive. Yuji would be remembered as a hero by Jujutsu Society and it would be the right push for Megumi to lead the next generation since he's very familiar with the corruption in their world.
I could see it going either way though.
