Man, people overhyped JJK so way too much, like it's the greatest shonen today, it's not and it's not that special either, to me atleast. It doesn't have the emotional highs as some other manga, doesn't have alot of good character interactions apart from a few, expect for Yuji and maybe Megumi, no one else really gets crazy character development. I guess it's power system is cool, but it's kinda convoluted. And Sukuna asspulls. I did enjoy reading it even though I dropped it during the culling games, it introduces too many characters and not enough development for them, just I suppose plot devices. What the hell happened to Hakari??

Yuji, Yuta, Hakari, Noritoshi, Angel, Takaba (if he's still alive), and probably a few others who are still alive would all have to die, along with all those sorcerers and civilians. Yeah, that would be wild. Kashimo and Higuruma already got dropped, the rules don't acknowledge Maki, and I think Kenjaku and Sukuna are void of them too.
Yuji will become a pigeon, and megumi will cry, thinking about him sitting next to his grave. But i could be wrong tho.

The way the finger was in the last chap seems like they'll use her ability to nuke the shit out of it, and damage sukuna with ressonance. But it could be Nobara or her Granny using the ct.
No heian era flashback arc is wild to me. I was expecting an entire flashback arc for sukuna and kenjaku to parallel gojo and geto’s flashback arc that would have dropped major story bombs. But it looks like any sukuna flashbacks we get are gonna be miniscule in comparison unfortunately.
Maybe that's the next project?

How will he solve the entire premise of the story? Humans produce negative energy that causes curses to manifest. The whole Hidden Inventory arc explored how different characters would address this issue. Yuki plans to eliminate all cursed energy, while Geto decided to kill all humans he deemed unworthy, calling them monkeys. Meanwhile, Kenjako wanted to embrace the cursed energy to evolve it.
The story isn’t just about Sukuna versus Yuji-it’s much bigger than that. I can’t see how five chapters would be enough to wrap it up.
Just like real life, it’s as silly as trying to “kill all the bad guys”. This might just be the nature of the world, and you might have to constantly have good fight evil over and over again. That’s a more “real” message.
It won’t but its fine because Gege have good soldiers like the guy above me who create excuses for him not being able to finish his story properly, instead of agreeing with your take which is completely right. Different characters HAD different viable solution for this, yet it went nowhere. Which is kinda the biggest flaw of JJK. It’s full of foreshadowing, teasing for years and they never have a satisfying conclusion.

Hakari VS Uraume won’t be expanded upon, no news about Kenjaku being to Yuji as his mother, no Heian Era flashback (although that is not entirely necessary, it has been deemed as the golden age of jujutsu, so why not introduce it at least?) and just so much more stuff that was just never built upon…

To be completely honest I'm kinda indifferent to this news now that my favorite characters are gone anyway, but I will miss the community and reading everyone's reactions to chapters in real time as they leaked.

I also had issues with sukuna being mildly inconvenienced with multiple Jacob’s ladders, his heart being pierced and souls splitting punches. lol they piled the damage on him and then all of a sudden he is using domains and his output increases again. He is portrayed as so strong I don’t see how he can be stopped in a believable manner.

1.) Never gave a fuck about his trident weapon cause sukuna didn't need more buffs. 2.) Kenjakus whole way he died is meant to emphasize that he isn't important but his plans and their consequences are. I mean he more than once mentions how even if he does his plans will go on/ mentions how he isn't important for his plans to work out. 3.) it is what it is with hakari and uraume, if I'm being honest I was never too interested in either character or that fight.

There ain't no way... there are still so much stuff to explore, it's insane. For one, where is the merger? I didn't expect JJK to end so soon, so abruptly... I mean, I know Gege has planned for jjk's end for a long time now, but this timing... it's not good, there's just so much stuff that he almost definitely needs to explore.

This isn't Shonen Jump. This is Gege's choice. Shonen Jump can see that the series has a lot of fans, and the series hasn't overstayed it's spot in weekly shonen jump. It's sad he's choosing to end it like this when a number of mangaka never got the chance to give their real ends(Toriko, Hitman Reborn,etc.)
Bleach wasn't cancelled, it was simply rushed due to Kubo's health issues.

No Heian era flash backs, no merger, no Hakari v Uraume, no Kenjaku comeback, no info on Jin Itadori, hell at this rate we might not even get a payoff for Geto strangling Kenjaku. It truly is a shame. This series could’ve been this generations masterpiece. I understand Gege might’ve gotten burnt out and tired of it but I wish he’d pass the mantle on to someone else who’s passionate to finish it or better yet just do the drawing or writing exclusively and get an co-author / co-illustrator to lessen the workload. Shibuya Incident was a fictional MASTERPIECE and reignited my love for modern shonens. Was incredibly disappointed to see the massive drop in quality so fast but it is what it is. It happened with AoT and now it’s happening again 😔

Jjk was the first manga i ever read. Ite th only story that i finished and i instantly wanted more. To see it end so soon feels weird. I thought we would get some more world building snd back stories snd thought the end would come after thr merger was dealt with but since the sukuna fight is still going I am yo assume itll be the main focus of these last 5 chapters? This feels like the opposite of Naruto or MHA. With those two, when the announcement came out I was like I understand..... but JJK I don't understand how it will end. I think the this all but confirms that the merger isn't happening, maybe Yuji wins, maybe Yuta somehow gets back to his body in the best case scenario.... for Gege pulls an Ideon or Devilman..... and honestly I would rather have the later than the former, it would feel insanely anticlimatic if its scenario one.

As much I do like a story knowing when to end, there’s so many things that were teased at that did not get answer. 5 chapters to get all those revelations and ideas fleshed out seems frankly impossible. I hope there will be maybe a prequel or sequel series but at this point I feel like Gege might have burned himself out with writing for this series, so unlikely.

Jjk has brought me so much joy and theorizing will always be one of my favorite aspects about the whole series. It's sad to hear that it'll be ending in 5 chapters, when clearly there's more uncharted waters that needed to be clarified by gege. But I guess the guy just got tired of writing his series or something 😭 either way I'm going to miss jjk very much bruh :'(

the fact we never got any flash backs or proper explanations about really anything is really sad that its going to end this way hopefully in the 4 following the end of the fight they can give us as much closure for things as possible but i feel like gege cooked up the greatest feast only to take it out to early we can only pray that he does a prequel focusing on kenjaku and sukuna even if its like a 5-10chapter run, also cant wait to be disapointed when we get a cut to hakari offscreening uraume

there's so much unrevealed or untouched, it gives me vibes of demon slayer in the way that there's so much to bite onto & wonder about. but not much to go on in the material.
jujutsu kaisen from what I've seen has been about ideals against hedonism, in the backdrop of an uncaring, chaotic & even at times evil world.
people killed unceremoniously I felt was always meant to call back to the in real life feeling of so many questions unanswered by a person upon their passing, leaving us with scraps & memories for us to pick up the meaning, to carry on regardless. it seems jujutsu kaisen is leaving us in the same vein.
simply put, I still want to know more.

If HxH really is coming back (and not just for like one chapter), I think it would be really fun to hear you explaining some of the current arc. I always have to reread stuff after these long breaks to have any chance of comprehending what's happening, but I feel like I would understand it better if I had a little guy insert himself into the pages and point at things

its not a huge time skip but its large enough for us to follow a whole new cast, maybe Yuji fills the gojo role or maybe we go to an entirely different continent
I mean yes we had the disaster curses but there should be OTHER major curses right? Lets go full Chainsaw man, what about the Curse of the fear of death? or disease? or time? like there is so much that could be expanded upon.

i mean gege is pretty tired, you can see in his drawings (not that its bad, but you can see some rough shapes here and there) it reminds me of maki vs clan zenin, hope he can rest and if he comes back to drawing a manga, he starts a monthly series so its easier on him(idk if monthly are actually easier but i feel like them are)

I love this series so much, I’m so happy to have been able to experience all of it. I’m very skeptical about him being able to wrap this all up in 5 chapters, but even if it does end poorly I will still be grateful for all the amazing things JJK gave us
