I'm on my third bottle of Mae love. It does help improve the skin. I saw a huge difference after 2 months of daily use. Sadly this vitamin C oxidizes very quickly.
You can keep your vitamin c in the refrigerator in the box too keep it from oxidizing so quickly

I used Glowmaker since March and loved it sooo much!! - My skin was def glowing...until it oxidized. :-/ Id say it was bomb for about 30-45 days - after that it turned yellow and wasn’t as effective (IMO)
OMG, 30-45 days? That is actually so fast! I wonder if you can call customer support and ask for refund, or ask for a new one. Vitamin C does oxidize fast tho. Have you tried Timeless Vitamin C? I am currently using it rn
Maybe try leaving it in a dark place if you haven't already? I keep mine in my cabinet rather than out in the open where it could oxidize from extra sun exposure.
I leave mine in the fridge and it lasts a long time

I was just wondering how the Maelove compares to the Timeless vitamin c serum. Both look very promising and I would love to hear your thoughts!
I feel like the only difference is timeless only does 10 or 20% l-ascorbic acid. Mae love sort of hits the sweet spot at 15%

It has a strange scent and it leaves my face a little tacky for about 5 seconds then it goes away. I will keep trying for a while and see how my complexion looks.
How long once opened can you use skinceuticals c e ferulic serum before it expires?
There are no dupes for the skinceuticals vit c serum. The formula has been patented by loreal since 2005. The ratio and formulation is whats important to maintain efficacy. Legally, it cannot be duped. Thats why they can keep the price where it is. They have decades of research behind their products
I think Skinceuticals PH is 2.5 - 3 or something while Timeless’ PH is 2.4. I don’t mind that .1 difference (chance to cause skin irritations which never happened to me lol) for a big discount ie going from $166 to $20 or even less, which PH level 2.4 might even work better for some people skin 😂😂😂
@@iROChakri interesting info. Skinceuticals formulates their ce ferulic at a PH of 3. As someone with reactive and sensitive skin, ( combo acne prone) I've never had any irritation with the serum or breakouts. I've been using consistently for 2 months and unfortunately, it's become a part of my routine. Rip my budget
Yeah but it also oxidises like other vit C’s? Skinceuticals claim their vit C can be used even after its oxidised but that’s impossible..

I've had mine for a little over 2 months, im halfway through the bottle and it hasn't oxidized at all. I keep it in its original packaging in the fridge. Their formula stays stable longer than most on the market. Hence why they patented their formula and why its expensive

I've been using the SkinCeutical C E Ferulic, but I kept seeing ads from Maelove about the same product for cheaper! So, now I'm trying to research why Maelove is so much cheaper. This review really helped. I'm considering buying it to try. I'm 30 years old and Korean, but the rite aid/cvs stuff is just not cutting it. I'm going to try out the Maelove The GlowMaker, take a picture before using it and an after picture in a month.

I saw the other one with the vitamin C timeless video, I'm going to try that out too, I love that it's not oily, but as you mention like liquidy. I think I prefer that, but I made a purchase for the Maelove and going to try that first.

there's this website called SKINSKOOL that allows you to enter a skincare product and then it generates various other dupes for that product in order of ingredient accuracy. It helps me a TON with finding cheaper alternatives to luxury products, but w the same effectiveness in ingredients. hope this helps!

Well I did it for the 1st time and I experienced some light redness and texture after products were applied...we'll see what happens next time, but my initial result I didn't like so far. Could be that I'm not use to it
