Got a 2012 A5 sportback 1.8TFSI 170 which is amazing but would go back to the A4 saloon in future with quattro, do you think 252 version is better alternative to 272 3.0TDI (higher torque but slightly slower) especially as I use 120D as a daily and don't need another diesel? 3.0 TDI is much more powerful engine. Torque is way bigger when we talk about those two engines, and lower revs on highway. Fuel consumption should be lower as well. I would go for the Diesel. 6 cyl. Vs. 4 cyl? For me always the bigger engine the better engine. However if you drive a lot in the city and do a lot of short routes then the smaller one will be better. Diesel is perfect for longer routes and higher avg. speeds.

Can anyone tell me adaptive suspension is worth getting? Can't find info anywhere. I'm getting sports suspension which is free but for £900 there is adaptive sport suspension. I have ticked the option but have no clue what it does

What's your plan when that digital instrumental panel dies? Pixels loose light strength by time and it'll gradually loose visibility. Does Audi offer any guarantee for you to change the LED display after some years? Cause it will degenerate by time.
I don't think that'll be a problem. We have many LCD screens running 24/7 still running in good condition after numerous years. LCD is not really a problem because the technology has advanced so much. If it was an OLED display, that would have been a problem because they do not last long enough.
Don't believe it's either LCD or OLED. I believe its' a LED display and the lifespan is not forever, so after a few years each pixel is degenerated and that pixel death will of course only increase until it's barely showing 30% of the light it originally could. This happens faster that you think but your eyes gets used to the loss gradually, however its a problem when you only get 30% of what you once had. This should be addressed by Audi to any potential buyer. If they can't provide a pixel life guarantee I wouldn't choose the digital display.

I don't have any plan. I don't need it. In my Mercedes I have calssic analogue gauges.
