- I found some old footage from before I started filming things for YT. This was shot with my Phone camera at the time. Sorry for the bad quality but I think you still get the idea of what I was doing. For those of you that like less talking, this is a video for you. And those that like less music, well,... sorry about that. I hope you enjoy the video none the less.
This project involved separating these two parts that had been wedged on there really tight. Since We didn't have a vise to attach this to the table, It was quite the struggle trying to keep it in place. Once the Gas Axe was let loose on these parts, it was only a matter of time before they came apart. As you see in the video, I cut off as much as I could to access the inner threaded parts. This allowed me to torch into the material to make some relief cuts so the tension was loosened enough to remove. As I've mentioned before, I'm sure there are 100 ways to do this but I chose this one. Its not a "how to remove", Its a "how I removed it". Thanks for watching I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you so much man! I work for a rail car company 10 hours a day doing what you do here and I spend my free time watching your videos. My wife can’t understand why I watch work after working. If she only knew how many times you have saved me time at work. Keep them coming brother. God bless you and your family!
$50 bucks for the hammer, and $2000.00 for knowing where to hit it! 😂 great job!
Not only a great craftsman, but the parts smell like mesquite when he's done! Thanks for sharing!
" it was on there.." Yeah, I guess it was!! You're the man Issac , keep it up.
Unbelievable. Just love your videos. Can't wait for them. God Bless.
Love the channel, I guess a lot of it is because you seem like a very logical and legitimate person. Keep up the great work! And post more of course.
Well done! You saved those folks a pile of money in replacing that whole bearing whatever thing.😀
1.3K+👍's up IC weld thanks again for taking us all along with you for the great show
I could watch and learn from you all day and still have a lot to learn. You are definitely a master with the torch.
wow, some oldie but goodie stuff....thanks for sharing and as always, we love you and your talent, cheers from Florida, Paul
You, sir, are a man of incredible skills! I could watch your torch work all day!
Looks like a unit from a top drive rotary drill rig! The bull gear and bearing and sub! Nice job!
Old or new, always a pleasure. 🇨🇦
That job comes under the heading of what an old friend used to say. We don’t ask it we tell it!👍
I like the dramatic effects of the lumber on fire.
You are a true professional. I'm a tech Ed instructor and have learned much from your videos. You can never take away from experience.
Nice job. Your a surgeon with that torch.
¡Orale! I must admit, I was sceptical about using a fire axe on a precision- machined piece of metal. This cat isn't your garden variety repairman. He is a Wizard.
You are a true master with that torch!!! 👍🇺🇸
Another stellar job Isaac. I love to watch you problem solve for yourself and your customers. You are quite of an important tool for field companies. Good job as usual. Since it was for a blasting company no one would have noticed if those batteries would have cooked off on the bottom bench shelf.
