Torching into the wind is like peeing into the wind, don’t do it😂. It’s fascinating seeing somebody who really knows how to use a torch. Keep up the good work
He cut those ears off in half the time I could have and I still would have had to spend an hour grinding. Yeah, I'm a better grinder than a cutter and I'm not a good grinder.
Can I just say, your truck is awesome! I've never seen any mobile works truck like that here in the UK. I'm sure similar exist, but nothing I've seen with a massive vise hanging on the back, opening doors with torches neatly in place, generators, grinders, welders..... It's like Heaven on wheels!!!
I know recording and posting videos is extra work for you, but don’t stop. These videos are very informative and inspirational for a newb like myself. Even when you burned yourself and fumbled around with stuff is awesome. I seem to always want to grab hot metal.
Thanks. As I reviewed the video, I noticed that a piece of slag fell along the edge and stuck onto the piece as I was picking it up. That's what got me. I knew the part was warm but that got me good.
Very steady hands with the cutting torch and you sure care for your tools, I've seen many guys use the torch as a hammer to tape the parts off. lol, you are top shelf. Thanks for the show, of how it should be done.
I am /was a certified gas pipe line welder, never worked pipeline , but couple yrs heavy construction & 20yrs @ NUMMI/ Toyota/GMC & was always thankful that the few times I got burned I was close to a refrigerator/freezer where I could get ICE . In hind sight it might be a good idea to always have a small cooler/icebox in the truck
"Torching into the wind is like peeing into the wind...don't do it.". Words of wisdom!! The kind of things you can't get from a classroom or from any book! Old school field education.
best videos on youtube... Love watching a skilled pro get it done. Any tips and tricks you can share the better. You are making me a better welder and fabricator... and I thank you!
It seems to me that the torch has better control than the Arc gouger, I mean you can produce a more delicate result. Again you demonstrate using the torch as a scalpel Nice job
Wow that number one tip burned write Through the metal like hot knife through butter I’m glad I found your channel makes me think of high school when I took welding
Cuts better than with a plasma cutter during an F3 tornado...amazing! My hands are far from steady after Lyme disease...torching is always frustrating. Respect!
I.C., If You collect all those pieces of scrap, both large and small, it being mostly No.1, by the end of each month you would have yourself a pretty good dollar to fund a nice IRA so you won't have to do this forever and ever. I'am impressed by how quiet you make that torch run.
Nice recycle of the pivot flanges torching skills with digging minimal prep required much respect amigo to thanks for the memory rewind share for me keep on rocking and rolling man.
Awesome work. I used your technique for cutting thin metal the other day. Worked well but I need practice. Thanks for all the tips and tricks on Instagram and now UA-cam.
Your channel is going to be a goldmine for those of us doing repairs for a living! Great work as always and thank you. On another note, how are you getting power from that plug on the back of your truck for your cords?
On Bonanza, a city slicker went into a blacksmith's shop and took ahold of a piece of hot metal and put it down rather quickly and waved his hands around some. Someone asked him "Was it hot?" He replied, "No, it just didn't take me long to look at it."
When I was learning to weld, I was amazed at how little time is spent 'slinging slag' and how much of it was prep work! To qoute a Book, you can't build a strong house on shifting sand...or strong weld on a poor fitting.
I really enjoy you work, gives me some ideas for stuff I work on.. ! Do you have a video on you hot rod Hudson! I caught a glimpse of it in a couple video’s, I would like to see more of it! Thanks for sharing your skills!
awesome, I can tell from experience it never took me long to check horse shoes "-) hot was it…… I spent years working all night, CA. big iron. rain wind or shin, when they needed you, last week wasn't soon enough: nice truck.

Great job on all the work I’ve watched you do. Just wondering if you could set up the camera so we can see the weld or cutting your laying down. Not sure if that is done using a second helmet lense or how that is done. You technique is excellent for guys learning the trade. Thx.

Very steady hands with the cutting torch and you sure care for your tools, I've seen many guys use the torch as a hammer to tape the parts off. lol, you are top shelf. Thanks for the show, of how it should be done.
