Since a year or two Glencadam is on my radar. Especially thanks to their Bourbon releases such as the 10, 15 and 18. Never tried the white port one. Can't remember I ever tried a white port finished whisky yet. Have to try this soon. Thanks Jim.
watching your review for 2nd time, with a glass of the same in my glass. I have had the bottle for a few months now, and keep dipping back into it. Its one of my travel bag nips on a regular basis. May need to pick up a back up soon. Reminds me of Orchard House a bit with the freshness of taste. Has a good moth feel as well. Sacrilege, but it even makes a great highball.
Nice review Jim! I see there is also a Glencadam 15 yr white port @ $85 pounds… would you pull the trigger 🤷♂️ I also really enjoy the GS 11 wp….it improves over time… Cheers 🥃
All the Glencadam finishes are excellent. Not tried many white port bottlings as they are quite rare to find generally. I tend to prefer ruby port but this sounds interesting.
Hi Jim, bought a bottle of this a few months ago (still closed 🤷♂️). According to Glencadam’s master blender (Ian Forteath) these different wine cask finished series are between 4 and eight year old whiskies including a finishing period of between 18 and 24 months. Think I’m right in saying. A good positive rewiew Jim. Slàinte 🥃
Well, even if these 2 bottles are quite similar that IYLTTTT may also indicate that the white port finished whiskies are few and far between 😊 Thanks for reviewing, Jim. I'll look forward to the next review no matter what something else will be 😎 Cheers 🥃

Thanks for reviewing this one, Jim.
I love Glencadam .. kinda hesitant to try this (port) wine influenced expression.
slàinte mhath
I'd give it a go at GWF if you can Frank. It is a good un.
Slàinte.
Great review, I was thinking you might pick the Glen Scotia '23 bottling for the " if you liked this" part of the review. Cheers!
Saw the 15 year old white Port and I’m so curious to try it. I love the standard 15.

Cheers Benny. Not many white port finishes indeed. If they were all this good...I'd be happy 😁
I have the PX finish which is very good as well, off to buy the white port finish.
I really need to get me some glencadam, the amount of variations kinda puts me off.
One of those brands i love to get in to, but not. Only one i had was the glencadam 17 port cask. How about the 15 years old, is that one to buy?
