I cannot believe I listened all the way through in one sit. Great podcast with some great story telling. Love the behind the scenes of how UV got going.
Let me start by saying this traditionally I will watch some podcast but I never watch them start to finish one sitting. This is the first podcast I have ever watched for two hours straight start to finish! Great information! I would agree as a very very very avid bowhunter when I saw the 1K arrows come out I had the exact same response to the sticker shock. While watching this podcast I actually went through and priced out my arrow build. I am no longer on the fence and I just put in an order for 12 1K arrows. Normally I would not do this I would continue to build the arrows that I love. But after owning the UV slider since day one I was so impressed with the quality that I fully expect that these arrows are as good if not better than what I build at home. Time will tell but I have a feeling that this will be my go to arrow going forward. Just don’t tell my wife what I spent 😂😂😂

His water buffalo hunt was not "fine" and because of his stupidity when it comes how to build a proper dangerous game arrow, he gave the Australian goverment more ammunition for their assault against bowhunting and getting it banned. He logic has him fixated on KE and gives no thought to the more important unit of measurement when hunting dangerous game which is the slugs of momentum needed for such a hunt.
I just bought the UV slider. Love how easy it was to sight in. About 10 arrows and I was dialed at 20 yards. I'll be putting site tapes on this weekend. Pins could be brighter.

@@GOHUNT I love hunting and the pursuit of big game and have watched all of your guys podcast the gritty podcast and the guys from born and raised, it is generally fun for me! I have some really cool ideas for a video series for you guys that I think would be awesome! But Bradys castle looked like the castle from helms deep in lord of the rings and he was in a tall open tower in a white robe shooting geese!!!🤣 he was mad because they were pooping on all his pet mule deer!

Didn't expect to sit all the way through this but here I am lol Great info sharing appreciate it. Still amazed that this one thing keeps getting said… Victory owning the rights to 1K material use in arrows, it's just not accurate guys. Hell Mitsubishi doesn't even own 100% rights to 1K production (as I think you did mention). They are just a source and not the only source.There are several companies making a high quality 1K arrow. Some of which have been making them for years. It just comes down to the design and weave specifics. And not all of them are created equal that's for sure. Appreciate your mission statement for lack of a better phrase, *catering to the passionate hunter* I like that and think your marketing and your target demographic is on point!!! **Sidenote, yeah I didn't hesitate to make sure I have a stash of 1K's😂 Patiently waiting for what's next…🤙🏾

I’m curious why aluminum and steel inserts instead of titanium which seems like the “best” UV is after? Cost? Hopefully there will be an option for the upgrade later? Impressive work either way, I’d love to get some of these after hunting season.
Idk about cost because they are the most expensive per dozen arrows by a good bit
