From right outside of her work it was negative 9° at night so she went out started her car walked back into the building grabbed a box and went to walk back out and her car was gone. So she called us and a coworker called the cops. They show up just before we do so we get to see the look on mom's face when he says they already know where it is. Apparently in the three minutes the guy had the car he was driving through people's yards and a cop seen him and went to initiate a traffic stop in the dude took off in the car through a little wooded patch jumped out and sent the car at 55 mph into the side of a brink building. They didn't see him jump out so they lost him while they were trying to clear the car. But they did have a description of the guy and one of them was like that's the dude from the homeless camp over there and the next week they had already planned on burning the woods out where the camp was and they were moving them out so this dude wanted to steal a car so he him and about 12 of his buddies could find a new place to camp.
