i have once one tapped a MiG-15bis with that thing(poor guy) from 1.6ish kilometers away while it was turning
that was the highlight of my 12 year War Thunder career
One advice , when turn fight in such platforms which is like mig 15 17 19 but specially mig 19 for better turning perfomance use brake extenasively beacause it acts like a flap just wont break above 250kph , i can explain ,all these planes have very stong engines and great turn but at lower speeds 500-600kph or less soo you get easy in compresion area and also have great MER so every tine you wonna get a shot or out turn someone your plane gonna hold lot of speed or gain a lot soo thats way turning with break comes in handy
I know, I kind of don't like losing my speed and play in a super defensive/passive way, unless im sure im going to lose all my speed and im always going to be in a 1v1, I don't give up on being fast
As much as speed affects my ability to counterattack, it guarantees me that I will always be the attacker and never the one attacked.
DO NOT use AIRBRAKE to reach the optimal turn speed for the mig19.. if u are turn fighting in the mig19 .. that shows u are making a huge mistake.. avoid turn fights AT ALL TIMES... Instead stand on your engines and LOOP! drag the enemies into a vertical loop cause most of the enemies just can't complete the loop .. meanwhile the mig19 will still go above 500kmh and easily dive on the enemy to get the shot on. KEEP YOUR SPEED UP AT ALL TIMES ESPECIALLY IN THE MIG19!!.

Именно на миг-19 тормоз даёт пикирующий момент, что уменьшает угол атаки и время виража. Играть в 1 круг на миг-19 ошибка из-за того что двигатели очень долго набирают максимальную тягу, поэтому снижать газ нельзя. Куда правильнее летать через 2 круга на полной тяге и чистом крыле.

Watching people who know how to fly the Migs is so cool, i tried but i just cant play them, the guns are really hard to aim and they compress a lot at high speeds, i would learn to fly them but the Hunter does the job as an energy fighter well enough.

Very important to note that there wasn't a single uptier in this video. Just clubbing the 8.3s and 8.7s instead of getting one-tapped by an Aim-9L at 10.3.

most 10.3 games are dead brain premium users killing each other, I get a minimum of 1~2 kills but going over 4 is difficult in a match that only lasts 3 minutes (on a plane that is mostly gunfighter because the R-3 only kills distracted enemies), literally all the 8.3~9.3, 8.7~9.7, 9.0~10.0 matches found were infinitely superior in skill than 10.3 ones with A-10 and F-5C users, which is the case with j29f at the end of the video, While I was editing this video I simply removed the 10.3 matches because I realized how tedious they were for the viewer, as the video was over 30 minutes long
Do you want to see me training aim on an A-10 on death row dreaming of getting a base? I don't think so
my only issue with this is the ammo, very little.

just asking (im using mig19s) how do you act without missles ? How do you survive uptier ?
Take a look at my J-35D video; that's basically how you play with any aircraft that doesn't have flares when facing all-aspect missiles. With the MiG-19, it's a bit more difficult because it's essentially a gun-fighter, as its missiles will only kill inattentive or distracted enemies. Since it doesn't have good missiles, you'll get far fewer kills. I tried to include up-tier matches with the MiG-19, but I couldn't get past the 4 kills barrier with it, averaging 1~2 kills against A-10/F-5C. Basically, you fly until you're sure all missiles have been spent or that they will never get a lock on you, but that's not a healthy gameplay. This is why you'll rarely have a match with 5 or more kills at 10.3 with the MiG-19... this BR urgently needs decompression.

for me the br is decent due to the better performance it has in relation to the MiG-19PT and the J-6A, not to mention the extra cannon, which makes a lot of difference

Yes, the title is very true, but a pilot who cherry picks games will also appear to be perfect and give the illusion that he does not make mistakes or get screwed by the game. Everyone equally gets screwed, the only way to be a top player is to abuse the game systems and also to play in a squad of experienced "skilled" players.
When i play solo, i have a great game evet so often, but when im in a squad, i have a great game every other game.
I always hear the mig 19 is good, yet i can't get over the guns they are so weird to aim, and the ammo drains so fast and the ammo belts are trash and the mig 19s dosent have missiles so it makes it worse its just impossible for me to use with how the Guns are

The velocity on the NR-30s feels weird and they're somewhat difficult to aim because the rudder on the Mig-19 is really bad. You give up the missiles on the Mig-19S but you get an extra gun and afaik you're also lighter.
@thatoneguy1741 yes he did but the belts that you get from the modifications are trash one gives you stealth belts on guns that are already impossible to aim and the latter is legit just ap yhat does nothing to planes the stock ammo is the only usable type
