I've been in my own world for the past year working hard, and as someone who conceal carries everywhere I go and has a gun in every room of the house and every vehicle in the garage... it's been "re-shocking" to me how ridiculous the world really is.
To take away someone's ability to protect themselves from criminals... BECAUSE of criminals.. it's mind blowing.
You shouldn’t have to protect yourself from people with guns, because civilians should not own anything other than a hunting rifle or a shotgun, with a hunting license of course. Look at how far “good guys with guns” get you in America…
@@tiffanitoenail840 Criminals will get guns regardless of the law. They are criminals. They don't care. Laws only apply to those who abide by them. The government may say, "Don't smoke weed.", but millions of people are still willing to do backdoor deals with the cartel to get it imported from Mexico (that's changed since weed has become legal in many states in the US).
A criminal can steal guns, buy guns on the black market, or go on a stabbing spree or anything else. It is a human right to be able to defend your life against someone who means to take it. The law should not restrict good, moral, sane, sober people from protecting their families. Take the Charlie Hebdo shooting, or the Paris Massacre for example. We're talking about a country deep in Europe that has had gun control since 1563 A.D.. Yet, still, 500 years later, evil people were able to bring in AK-47's and make bombs to massacre hundreds of people. And if you pay attention to the news, these attacks happen all the time in Europe. From large scale shootings, to small time criminal gangs.
This isn't some political issue, it's really a moral issue of, "Is it right to take away someone's right to protect their life?"
Guns are what takes a short, small 20 year old girl, and allows her to have a fighting chance against a 200lbs attacker. It's what allows an old lady to protect herself from being raped and murdered in her home. It's what allows a man or woman to protect their family if someone breaks into the house at night.

Did an airsoft podcast with a player and field owner from your gel community. Was great to compare and understand the similarities and differences with our hobbies . Keep up the good work and have fun stay safe guys! 🇨🇦

Hey siri, remind myself to never move to Australia every time I plan a trip.
Trust me you wouldn't want to go there anyway everything is fucking creepy and crawly and is trying to kill you
@@beardedslavbrew615 yeah bro, look out for those emus :P

“Ok what about orange tips?”
“Nah they still look lethal… BANNED!”
you can easily paint orange tips tho
Australia is so authoritarian :(
They've fallen so far from being the badass penal colony country
Spoken like someone who has never set foot in Australia.
No mass shootings, if you want a gun you can get a hunting license
Yes as you said Aus has banned guns and then stolen all of the privately owned ones in the country, which is a travesty of human rights. Nobody deserves to have their things stolen, least of all from the government thatbis supposed to serve them.
But even worse than that, as this video states, they banned TOYS that just look like guns. That's a shocking example of a corrupt government gone extra mad with power. They now know that that can safely do whatever they want to the citizens of Aus with no consequences.
@@iSchmidty13 guns werent stolen, toy guns can be used to imitate real guns for crime, theres very little reason to own a gun other then hunting if nobody else owns a gun(which you can still do in aus)
@@iSchmidty13 giving up guns was one of the best decisions john howard ever made
One person does something terrible and we all pay.

Really ironic considering you can't expose the us government for wrongdoings without being persecuted
Ok but shooting someone with a gel blaster would just be a minor inconvenience they don't really hurt if I remember them right
lol that mass shooting was about as sus as it gets xD
Bruh what's next, banning NERF blasters?
That's it, everyone start buying crossbows and bows for their homes, then we can all downgrade to slings and stones, then spears and atlatls.
they tried banning nerf guns actually afaik
And then lets detonate all nuclear weapons and return to monke
Damn and I thought Australia was cool
It is. I’d rather have children’s toys banned than seeing children dead in the streets
@@tiffanitoenail840 in the streets? School shootings aren’t a daily occurrence
@@Heisenberg000. the case he mentioned about the 35 people killed, 4 were children between the age 3-17. In America it’s almost a damn daily Occurrence to have a mass shooting if not just random gun violence. America is a joke of a country with those laws they have
It is, we don't get shot up at schools so that's pretty cool
@@tiffanitoenail840
You do have a point, but airsoft is just that, a toy. People just need to have the orange tip on and it shouldn’t be given to kids under 12 and people need to be responsible with it. You also need a gun bag
Interesting video bro, very informative and I’m from the UK 🇬🇧 🤣 keep up the good work x
Thanks Dion! 😁
That’s like the cops taking my license bc you were drunk driving.
No, it's like the state requiring you to have a driver's license because people in the past were stupid with cars. Guns aren't banned in Australia. People just have to go through the proper legal process to get them. Kinda like going through the process to get a driver's license.
@@alexandramarberry1023 expect it’s like you live in a place where you have to go to a 4 year driving college to get a license. Most people would prefer to live in a place where they can easily and quickly get one.
@@obnoxiousobserver3909 why would you care so much about guns? Is it because of the constant threat of someone shooting you up at the park or the local grocery store? I want to have a civil discussion.
@@goldpotato1885 You don’t have to own a gun to want other people have the ability to get one.

Imagine living in a place where everyone willingly handed their gun over to the government. That's the land democrats dream about
I wish we had guns here in Aus but I suppose kids going to school without being shot is also a plus....but I don't know if dead kids is a acceptable price to pay for owning a gun. You tell me.

@Idk__ it depends on what you mean by helpless. If you have a AR15 your government has M1 Abrams. Here in Australia we solve our differences by punching each other in the head down the pub.

i like the hyper revolver animation reference
Gotta love being in Queensland man, I can shoot my friends with gel blasters without being swatted
Seems like pure freedom over there. You can even own gel blasters. Heaven

Imagine that! 😂
Imagine getting wasted from a UA-cam comments section… SHIT.
Imagine not imagining
As someone who lives in Queensland I would like to give thanks to Peter clarks for his kid actions to our state.
As a foreigner I might not know much about Australia but I think that the government banned gel blaster isn’t because they are dangerous it’s just that they somewhat look real and given enough time for development like gas gel blaster it could function close like a real firearm that means that gel fields could be bigger and more mil sim aspect could be added in gel soft . Like soon who knows just like air-soft they could be real marine teaching fundamentals about combat or Mil-sim I think the government is just scare the idea of well organised group of individuals that have at least some combat knowledge
That sucks why would they take away guns from everyone just because of one person
Government wanting popularity...
@@BlowBackIndustries so you have a problem with a popular position that most of the country has? I do agree that banning toys is stupid but actual gun control that has stopped mass shooting isnt
@@theonedog6272 I am so glad our gun control has worked so well, it's just that Airsoft was treated exactly the same way as real guns and I don't think this was a right thing to do.
Imagine letting someone take your guns away....when you have guns.
@bruh show them, betcha cant
"omg you shouldn't have the means of defending yourself. Hand em over reeee"
Come try and take them then
@bruh so you contradicted yourself and admitted you lied in your first statement, Bravo. A stupid move from a stupid person lolol
@bruh Shotguns. Ok, but any statistics on how many shells were shed at the time?
Just wondering since I can't imagine anyone turning in their gun who isn't an invertebrate.
Imagine not understanding that people voluntarily gave them up
And yet, in my country of the U.S., they still allow you to have HUGE guns. Even though we get the most shootings. 😢
Wow I can’t believe that something like that happens in Australia and it’s immediately fixed but here that happens daily and nobody does anything
