Gillan, Glover, Paice, Airey & McBride have enough fire in them to record another studio album to put McBride 's stamp on it, as a worthy successor to Blackmore & Morse. Simon delivers that classic tone of DP songs...maybe better playing a stratocaster! I'm a fan of their music from '68, especially MkII. Saw them once in Durban, South Africa, with Steve & Jon - may he RIP.
Poor is. Just lost his wife, I feel really sad for him, I wonder how long deep purple have left as he looks beaten, and tired, he should just enjoy some peace and quiet, his money, and have a rest he owes the fans nothing, he has surpassed all our expectations and beyond,
