Perhaps up to 3 takes. Very emotional. Other artists can record 70 takes of a song, with all spontaneity gone, rendering a sterile recording. Frank was a smart entertainer, he played what his audience wanted to hear. If it is a good song, I never tire of listening or performing it.

He is having a ball singing in front of this great band to this arrangement! Some people didn’t like it when Frank Sinatra dressed with love beads and collarless jackets. I think it’s swinging and groovy.
