This guy in 6th grade asked to "borrow" my Pokemon Sapphire game for a day and as insurance let me hold on to his Megaman Battle Network 5 Team Colonel. He moved away the next day and I'm glad he did because that game was amazing.
I was the only kid at school with Megaman Battle Network and I had 3 and 6 and oh my gawd, the series is amazing, I would die of Battle Network got revived one day
Funny enough, Battle Network was my first exposure to any of the MegaMan franchise. And even though some people say it's not MegaMan, to me it just is, somehow. It has a charm to it that, in my opinion, Star Force is entirely lacking.
For a moment there I thought I was crazy in thinking that 3 was in blue/white. I think what they meant is that battle network 4 and onward would be on nintendo DS.

Thresh Prince Oh dude for sure!!! Folderback was WAY better than the Navi Recycle in White. Although White totally had that Balance battle chip that you got after winning Vrs matches for rewards.
I wish Nintendo would just buy the rights to Mega Man from Capcom. It's becoming more and more clear that Capcom wants nothing to do with Mega Man after his creator left for greener pastures. And I bet they'd part with him, too. Ryu is pretty much their mascot now.
They really should. Megaman at this point only thrives in the *Nintendo* e-shop. I mean, they gave Megaman more love in one final smash then Capcom has given him in years.... ( Not to forget 9 and 10)

Actually, Battle Network 3 was the first to have two versions. I know Japan had a stand alone release first, but in America, we got BN3 Blue and White. Just clearing that up. :P
Christopher Niosi Holy hell I've been wondering where you went. I used to watch your stuff on Newgrounds all the time before it kinda got forgotten. Glad to see you're still doing stuff!
I hope to see another Mega Man episode of Did You Know Gaming? that goes over stuff from the Mega Man Legends series. There's quite a bit of intriguing info to learn about from that series,
...First off, Beck is a guy. Call is the girl. Second off, Azure Striker Gunvolt is basically an entirely different Mega Man successor, given it's made by the same development studio as the Mega Man Zero and ZX series, Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10, so Gunvolt is standing side-by-side with Mighty No. 9 as spiritual successors.
Why would you resist an offering of Mega Man-ish action from the creator of Mega Man? For more.....Mega Man? I'm trying my best to comprehend this statement.
Fun fact: Capcom only cancelled 3 Mega Man games, canned 1 and put 1 in development hell. - Canceled ones: *Mega Man Universe* (Admit it: was looking like crap. Also, suspiciously died along with Inafune's retirement), *Mega Man Legends 3* (The idea was good, but that series was deader than... Well, Mega Man Legends! The series did age well, but only 3 games and itsy bitsy fanbase wouldn't help a fourth game. Also suspiciously died along with Inafune's retirement. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!) and *Mega Man GB Collection* (Was going to be made for GBA, but they lost the coding for it. It's an acceptable excuse, or else they would have remade this as soon as they came with Mega Man GB for eShop. But the NES and GB/GBC games on eShop (all of them) are nothing but emulated versions (see PSX on PSP, PSX on PSN)) - Canned: *Maverick Hunter* (We never heard of it until YEARS after it was cancelled. Canning a game is when you cancel something without ever making a single announcement. No Preview, no Trailer, nothing. Even if people find about it a day after it was "canceled", it still counts as canned) - Development Hell: *Mega Man X Over* (It was planned for US release on January 2014, but the producer on US that was tasked with it thought "fans didn't like it and should be postponed until it is good". So, congrats, "fans", you gave it the DNF Release Date plus the No Export For You. Good job... And this is sarcasm) Capcom NEVER cancelled Rockman Online. Netwiz (or whoever was given permission by Capcom to produce) canceled it on their own. Honestly, people were upset over what could possibly turn into a TERRIBLE game. And I mean "TERRIBLE", all caps. See how MMORPGs are faring today. For those saying Capcom doesn't care about Mega Man, think about this: If they did NOT care, why do they even bother porting old Mega Man games to new consoles? Why would they promote a fangame and merchandise? It's simple: they are wanting US to forgive them, they are trying to show that they care. They cannot produce Mega Man in current conditions, with no producer and an ever diminishing team. And ongoing discussions among them are made for the sake of Mega Man, they WANT to make a new one, but they do NOT want to make it a Cash Cow. On other hand, curiousities about Inafune: Mega Man Universe and Legends 3 were conveniently canceled soon after he left. And soon after he left, he got into Indie Development. And furthermore: he used the hate against Capcom and hunger for new Mega Man as fuel for his project, Mighty No 9. He knew his herd very well and played every fan like a damn fine fiddle. Oh, and, acording to rumors that reached me, he originally had plans to release Mega Man every single year, which may have been declined by Capcom (who wanted to prevent SF effect on Mega Man) and further led him to leave them. Didn't he say something about Capcom holding him back once?
Thank you, you're the only one who acknowledges that Ifune left. I also bet that Maverick Hunter had two reasons for it's cancelation: Ifune left around it's announcement, and the sounded like a second rate creepypasta fanfic/theory.
Dark Shrimp There are multiple possibilities around that story. I believe that they agreed to make it at first but then someone must have thought it would be a bad idea, based on the reputation of a certain FPS we all know and hate (its abreviation has the name of a fish). While most are pissed over Legends 3 and Universe cancelation, I'm one of those who is more annoyed by the cannng of Maverick Hunter.
***** While I was initially turned off by Maverick Hunter, due to my aversion to "let's take this beloved character that you loved from your childhood and make it dark and gritty!", the fact that it was a spin-off and that it was a first-person game (FPS probably isn't a good term for it) developed by _Retro Fucking Studios_ made me really sad that it got canned.
Thank God you exist. You can barely go to any Mega Man related thing in the Internet without people proclaiming "Waah Capcom's killed Mega Man!!nintedno plz buy". You sir have made my day.
Wow... I've never heard someone talking about the Capcom and Mega Man like this. But seriously, MM fans will only forgive them if they release a new MM game. All those cameos and ports aren't too much to make fans happy, they want to experience a MM once more. I still think Nintendo should buy a Capcom not just to get a right to the Mega Man, but to push the company forward. I mean, they really need money and Nintendo can offer that. Even if Big N won't buy a Capcom, it can at least support the project at the first to help revive the franchise. Or Sony, or Microsoft, whatever, just give us a new MM game and I could buy a system to play this only game. If it won't happen too, how about a kickstarter or something? Migty No. 9 was very succesful with it, I think next MM game will be too. I will fully support Capcom, if a new Mega Man game will be announced. But for now I can only dream that some day this franchise will be resurrected. And really, I don't have problem with a fact of cancelling MML3, beacuse I haven't played any Legends game anyway.
Did you know? The Megaman franchise is so awesome that even DYKG pays homage with every episode when they show the words "Did You Know Gaming" in the classic Megaman title font. :D
***** Actually, this sense of urgency for getting to Dr.Wily's Castle is hampered by a pretty huge roadblock -- specifically, a $400 billion one. The reconstruction of your nipples. That's the price tag of a mission to Dr.Wily's Castle estimated in 1989, so you know it's probably more like $847 asstillions in now-dollars. And how do these missions plan to get that money? Well, the one business model we know about involves a little technique economists call "whoring yourself."
The generic-looking cyborg character in "Wreck-It Ralph" is also supposed to be Kano, especially since he was seen ripping out the heart of the Zombie just like in his iconic Fatality from the first Mortal Kombat game. ;)
*sigh* Just looking at that Legends 3 footage brings a tear to my eye. "Didn't meet the criteria" my @$$. Someone at Capcom has a chip on their shoulder. That much is obvious.
I loved the Battle Network series the best, IMO it was the best of the Megaman games with a solid story, my Fav was MMBN 4 Blue Moon and Red Sun (i got both) and still play em today!
Nope. Japanese works on syllables, and you're not supposed to stress any part of a word that doesn't explicitly require it. So instead of "Inna-foo-ne" it's "I-na-fu-ne". It might sound weird, but he said it right, more or less.
***** The only actual copy I have of one is Battle Network 6: Cybeast Gregar. I just played the rest on emulators, lol. I don't think I'd pay for a collection unless it had a bunch of cool new features (like online versus or Boss Rush or something.)
I want Jordan to have his fair credit where credit is due. In 1994 or 93 Nintendo power held a contest in collaboration with Capcom to draw and create the next mega man villain for mega man five. NAPALM MAN WAS CREATED BY JORDAN HOPKINS. They never gave him credit and they never gave him his prize or any of the other hundreds of people they stole from... But I watched him draw napalm man. I watched Capcom lie... I know the truth, and I will speak on it till the day I day or the day Capcom comes clean and at least honors my friend with the due credit he is entitled to.
I don't really play Mega Man much, but I think it's a really great series. I'm really glad that he's in Smash 4. Also, for those who don't know, the Battle Network games are coming to Wii U Virtual Console! Battle Network 2, 3 White, and 3 Blue will be the ones arriving as of now, as well as Mega Man Zero and Zero 2!
"Man, Capcom really hates Mega Man, they couldn't even let there be a reference in Wreck-It Ralph" WAIT! You said "man". A robot master ends with either "man" or "woman". That's 2 different things. There are 8 robot masters in each game. There are 10 original games. The last one is, well, 10, so lets take away the last game. So we have 9. 9 - 8 = 1. 2 genders + 1 = 3. Megaman Legends 3 confirmed.
Mother will never be "revived" unless there's a Mother Collection game of some sort with all three games in one. Shigesato Itoi has already said that he does not want to make Mother 4. As for F-Zero, I really want a new one and I think it might get made soon (if the hints in Mario Kart 8 are any indication.)
Bond Man also was the subject of a gag in the Archie comics. In Sonic Universe #51, the Genesis Wave triggered by Dr. Wily and Dr. Eggman warps space-time so it places Dr. Light at a point where he's thinking of finally starting work on Bond Man, a robot master he'd been putting off since building the original six.
+Cloud Dude Why are all these people reacting to MegaMan.EXE weirdly, its a game about Digital Hyper Advanced AIs(though his origins DO sound Creepypasta worthy, go play the games if you care), having the main character be named MegaMan.EXE isn't odd
Someone made a video showing the clapping (losing/no contest) animations in SSB Wii U with sound effects. Mega Man's claps made a clanking sound because he's a robot and they thought he had metal hands!
You know, I would really like to see another Battle Network game. Or perhaps an enhanced remake of Network Transmission. EXE is best Rockman in my opinion.
The video says Battle Network 4 and onward released two separate versions like Pokemon did, but I distinctly remember that starting with Battle Network 3, it had White and Blue versions, White being my first game I got from the Battle Network series
Actually the creators of Wreck it Ralph went on record saying Capcom made them take Wily out. Capcom was super butthurt about Inafune leaving. You also forgot to mention the other Megaman games that were cancelled. The Megaman MMO AND the Megaman FPS that were in development were ALSO cancelled. Capcom kept claiming it was because Megaman had no fanbase, which is bullshit. They cancelled 4 brand new completely unique Megaman games and opted for a few mobile games that they didn't actually have to do any work on, and Megaman X Street Fighter which they literally just BOUGHT from a fan who had made it and slapped their name on it. They "allowed" him to be in Smash Bros after Sakurai basically begged them to put him in.
From 1 to 4, the Megaman games for the NES all used a ROM cartridge with the memory amount of the game. Megaman used 1 Megabit, Megaman 2 used 2 Megabits, Megaman 3 used 3 Megabits and Megaman 4 used 4 Megabits. This "tradition" was broken with Megaman 5 and 6, which both used 4 Megabit cartridges.
To be honest, I actually think all the MegaMan Series should be bought by Keiji Inafune's company: COMCEPT instead of Nintendo. Although COMCEPT is making there first game (I think) MightyNo.9, a successor to the MegaMan games, I really want to see The Blue Bomber and other MM series to be made again by the Father of the MegaMan series.
Oh, Mega Man in Wreck-It-Ralph would've been fantastic. Makes up for the lack of Mario. Anyway Nintendo, just buy him already. It's painful to play the originals and think, "where the fuck has that little blue guy gone?"
Hey what ever happened to the original videos with the creep and shocking facts and that made people rethink the game? Instead your giving us these stories about how programmers struggled or voices were changed. Nobody wants to hear about that
Mega Man is dead. It wasn't that good of a series and didn't sell Millions. It's a fact and you have yourselves to blame. Street Fighter sells Millions each iteration but Megaman barely sells 100k at most.
The funny part is that SF is a cash cow, which is bad (see Call of Duty). And Inafune originally wanted to turn Mega Man into a cash cow, releasing games EVERY YEAR, but Capcom nope'd his plan, thinking it would hurt their mascot's reputation.
Wow, I'm seeing a lot less mourning for Legends 3 than I'd expect. Come on guys, you all haven't given up hope have you? You all haven't forgotten, right?
There was a refrence to Bond Man in Worlds Collide part 2 where Dr. Light states: "This is a model I've been putting off since the original line! Bond Man will. . ."
I love modern game development. "There is nothing to directly copy and we have to innovate to achieve our vision!", "Screw that, let's just try and copy something else!"
The overworld or whatever in Mega Man Battle Network reminds me of the Pokemon Ranger series. The battle style reminds me of an online Ninjago game I used to play.
Speaking of Bond Man, in the recent Worlds Collide Sonic/Mega Man Archie Crossover, Dr. Light post Genesis Wave is working on a robot, and Rock asks what type of robot Dr. Light is building, to which he replies that he had put off Bond Man since the original line.
Never played Battle Network but I did play the spiritual successor, Star Force. Played Leo, Zerker and Black Ace, the games were pretty addicting. Black Ace was my favorite though
I'm pretty sure Megaman Battle Network 3 had two versions as well, Blue and White, but not as big of differences as the following games had, just different Ultimate Chips and Bosses that don't relate to the story
I want a DYKG on Tomba/Tombi voiced by Caddicarus, one standout little thing for me was that the director of the game had previously been a producer for many of the megaman games, as well as some of Capcom's other great hits, and he was the director for the Ghosts and Goblins series
As soon as you mentioned a big crossover with lots of video game all-stars I immediately thought of Smash, I was actually playing Smash 4 (3DS) at the time
Ooooh Battle Network! Learning more about that series is always interesting to me. I really loved it as a kid and sparked interest in other Megaman games. I still love it today in fact! Its interesting hearing they had difficulty nailing down the idea cause I think they really nailed it, all the themes in the game tied back into the Megaman core formula while still being new ideas and the game was a really new and interesting thing back then. ^^
2:45 " from Battle network 4 and on..." PLEASE NOTE: Megaman Battle Network 3 was also in 2 different versions: White and Blue or White and Black in Jap release. Both the versions had different Mega chips only usable in each version as well as special boss character navis separate for each version. Players would need to trade chips with each other in order to obtain all 7 stars to fully complete the game.

Both Dustman and Crystalman were designed by Yusuke Murata, the artist of One Punch Man and Eyeshield 21!

I hope to see another Mega Man episode of Did You Know Gaming? that goes over stuff from the Mega Man Legends series. There's quite a bit of intriguing info to learn about from that series,
Ahh Battle Network, my most cherished Megaman series.. now I wish they made another sequel or remake....
Would you settle for remasters 8 years later?
@@error_404.69 Of course!
@@SmashBros2009 then you must be hyped for the legacy collection
@@error_404.69 You bet, can't wait to replay my childhood in a more convenient fashion. 🙂
Bond man also was a cameo in the sonic and mega man cross over comic
Really?
yup i have the 1st two sonic and mega man cross over comics.... i dunno where the 1st one is...i will try to look for it tho
1:14 That fire thing... I thought I saw that in Sonic before...
I hope megaman continues. Screw that Mighty Number Nine crap with whats her name? Beck. It's a good thing Azure Strike is here though if ll fails.
Might no. 9 only exists because Capcom won't actually make a new megaman.
...First off, Beck is a guy.
Logan Innkeeper Probably not.
Why would you resist an offering of Mega Man-ish action from the creator of Mega Man? For more.....Mega Man? I'm trying my best to comprehend this statement.
Justin Omoi Ignorant hater detected.
Knightman from Megaman 6 is one of my favorite robot masters and it's even more awesome to find out that he was created by a fellow Canadian!
But the NES and GB/GBC games on eShop (all of them) are nothing but emulated versions (see PSX on PSP, PSX on PSN))
- Canned: *Maverick Hunter* (We never heard of it until YEARS after it was cancelled. Canning a game is when you cancel something without ever making a single announcement. No Preview, no Trailer, nothing. Even if people find about it a day after it was "canceled", it still counts as canned)
- Development Hell: *Mega Man X Over* (It was planned for US release on January 2014, but the producer on US that was tasked with it thought "fans didn't like it and should be postponed until it is good". So, congrats, "fans", you gave it the DNF Release Date plus the No Export For You. Good job... And this is sarcasm)
Capcom NEVER cancelled Rockman Online.
*****
While I was initially turned off by Maverick Hunter, due to my aversion to "let's take this beloved character that you loved from your childhood and make it dark and gritty!", the fact that it was a spin-off and that it was a first-person game (FPS probably isn't a good term for it) developed by _Retro Fucking Studios_ made me really sad that it got canned.
>I was only nine years old.
>I loved Dr.Wily so much.
I had all the Dr. Wily action figures
Officer_Nipples my dad walked in the room and he called him a fagit.I called him a c***.He punched me ,keep this story going
Über eXe he whispered in my ear "this is my game"
Megaman Battle Network is amazing and Alpha is one of the best final bosses ever.
You'll enjoy 2023
Woah woah woah a "generic ninja character"? That's Noob Saibot how dare you!
The generic-looking cyborg character in "Wreck-It Ralph" is also supposed to be Kano, especially since he was seen ripping out the heart of the Zombie just like in his iconic Fatality from the first Mortal Kombat game. ;)
this just turned 6 years old i feel old
the wreck-it ralph one was a bit sad
3:14 oh would you look at that. Vent and Aile.
*sigh*
Just looking at that Legends 3 footage brings a tear to my eye.
"Didn't meet the criteria" my @$$. Someone at Capcom has a chip on their shoulder. That much is obvious.
+Leo Ryff did you want another MMX7?
Legends 3 would NOT have been another X7. Legends had an open, unfinished story. That alone would have prevented it.
Leo Ryff then again, a lot of classic fans hate Legends.
A lot of classic fans never played anything that had more than "Megaman: and a number in the title.
Leo Ryff true
Finally, a video I can watch without hearing about Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire...
2:36 Oh come on!!!
Even though the DYKG logo is megaman im suprised this only second vid really
Before this video, I thought it was a bit ironic that Mega Man only had one video. You can imagine my shock when I saw this video...
I've never heard of Bond Man until now.
That moment when Nintendo treats your own character better.
bruh
*Looks at Sonic and Megaman Deathly*
Can't relate
Oh wait
I loved the Battle Network series the best, IMO it was the best of the Megaman games with a solid story, my Fav was MMBN 4 Blue Moon and Red Sun (i got both) and still play em today!
My boy I am so sorry, but seriously though hope you're psyched for the come back
I think he mispronounced Keiji Inafune's name
Maybe
Nope. Japanese works on syllables, and you're not supposed to stress any part of a word that doesn't explicitly require it. So instead of "Inna-foo-ne" it's "I-na-fu-ne". It might sound weird, but he said it right, more or less.
Deddshot is right.
Deddshot I've always heard it the other way so that's it sounds weird to me
Deddshot
He put the emphasis on the wrong syllables.
OMG IT'S THE SQUIRE NARRATING.
2 of my favourite things, MM and Kirbopher.
The MegaMan Battle Network series is so fucking good...
That's all.
***** The only actual copy I have of one is Battle Network 6: Cybeast Gregar. I just played the rest on emulators, lol. I don't think I'd pay for a collection unless it had a bunch of cool new features (like online versus or Boss Rush or something.)
FINALLY, part 2 of Megaman DYKG. I hope they make more. This series have a LOT of stuff to discover
I can imagine the smash announcer saying "Bad Box Art Mega Man!"
0:45 lol Mega Man died in background
Let's Bond, Man!
James Bond?
Shaken not... bonded... I mean stirred.. I mean...
Nevermind.
2:02 "But Prooooto?"
Man Capcom really hates Mega Man, they could even let there be a reference in Wreck it Ralph
"Man, Capcom really hates Mega Man, they couldn't even let there be a reference in Wreck-It Ralph"
WAIT!
AGEMLucario don't try to make that a thing. please
I've noticed that in the Megaman Battle Network Anime Cutman is voiced by Scott McNeil the one who voiced Protoman in the Ruby Spears Megaman show
People should calm down... I'm sure Nintendo will revive Mega-Man... Like F-Zero... And Mother...
That was so damn funny I almost died
Mother will never be "revived" unless there's a Mother Collection game of some sort with all three games in one. Shigesato Itoi has already said that he does not want to make Mother 4. As for F-Zero, I really want a new one and I think it might get made soon (if the hints in Mario Kart 8 are any indication.)
Mother ended already.
Nintendo doesn't own megaman
comedypunchgaming steve Don't tell him this!
MegaMan.EXE? -.- I have a strong feeling of someone will make another bullshit creepypasta.
Wiktor Katulski oh no... I can hear the fanfics being written right now.
Drew Fournier We need to hack their computers.
Wiktor Katulski I'm so glad someone thought the same thing as I did when i heard Megaman.EXE
Emilia Kowalska (Cosmic) I hope so.
Yuriofwind?
3:00
WTF!?! MegaMan.EXE!!!
+Cloud Dude Why are all these people reacting to MegaMan.EXE weirdly, its a game about Digital Hyper Advanced AIs(though his origins DO sound Creepypasta worthy, go play the games if you care), having the main character be named MegaMan.EXE isn't odd
+Cloudmonkey Yeah, actually iknow it already :)
Kirbopher? Lol don't you mean brawl taunts guy?
Someone made a video showing the clapping (losing/no contest) animations in SSB Wii U with sound effects. Mega Man's claps made a clanking sound because he's a robot and they thought he had metal hands!
That was GrumpOut
yeah and it was a joke.......
Why has Capcom come to hate Megaman? Its like, they keep doing everything to bury him.
well idk what will happen but i think nintendo likes the blue bomber so they might buy it
Ethan Sarin Here is hoping, since MN9 seems to be lost to Tumblr >.
and Tumblr is a dark place :(
Half the robot master entries at 4:24 seemed to have been in a later Mega Man game in some form or another...
Capcom is full of idiots who don’t know what they have, I mean did Capcom even think any of their games were good? Lol
The Battle Network games are my absolute favorites!
The comment section doesn't aged very well.
I agree, it definitely doesn't aged very well
I played the heck out of Battle Network! I LOVED that game! I must've beaten them over a dozen times. Sigh...I miss Network Series :(
So no talk about why megaman shoots lemons? Dissapointed
PART 3?
Megaman Part 3 confirmed
It fires three bullets of highly condensed solar-energy. Basically it shoots solar-powered lemons.
If it comes down to giving away Megaman it's for the best if they give him to Nintendo
+Revived X I want a Battle Network MMO
+Revived X Do you see what he is doing with mighty no. 9 i dont think he deserves it right now
Oh, Mega Man in Wreck-It-Ralph would've been fantastic.
Nobody wants to hear about that
I want to hear about that, and im sure im not the only one.
Z7Games clearly cause that's all there posting
Erm... Games aren't magic spells conjured by high wizards, they're made by actual people in the real world
***** what does one have to do with the other?
Your not I like to hear about a games development history as well
Man I miss the battle network series. One of the best series for the GBA...
Mega Man is dead. It wasn't that good of a series and didn't sell Millions. It's a fact and you have yourselves to blame. Street Fighter sells Millions each iteration but Megaman barely sells 100k at most.
Megaman is dead, said Slippy Toad.
I wouldn't be the one to talk there, Slippy.
The funny part is that SF is a cash cow, which is bad (see Call of Duty). And Inafune originally wanted to turn Mega Man into a cash cow, releasing games EVERY YEAR, but Capcom nope'd his plan, thinking it would hurt their mascot's reputation.
"Mega Man is dead because it hasn't had a game in like 3 years boo hoo hoo" I am so tired of this argument lol.
Rodrigo Alvarado
Well, to be fair we are getting a new Star Fox game. But yeah, it is a bit silly. =P
Wow, I'm seeing a lot less mourning for Legends 3 than I'd expect.
Come on guys, you all haven't given up hope have you? You all haven't forgotten, right?
Watching this make me feel like wanna play Megaman Battle Network Series again (T_T)
Seems like ol' Mega Man gets the shaft a lot. Appearing as a guest fighter in a Nintendo game was the best thing to happen to him in a long time.
There was a refrence to Bond Man in Worlds Collide part 2 where Dr. Light states: "This is a model I've been putting off since the original line! Bond Man will. . ."
The Did You Know Gaming website needs to update more often! I like browsing through the trivia.
How about a did you know gaming bomberman! Bomberman needs love too.
@ 2:49 From megaman battle network THREE and onwards**
Battle network 3 also had two versions: Blue and White
Megaman used to have endless sequels last decade, not so much anymore. Smash Bros will be the last time we see him in a while
So much Smash Bros influence in this video.
Never played Battle Network but I did play the spiritual successor, Star Force. Played Leo, Zerker and Black Ace, the games were pretty addicting. Black Ace was my favorite though
I did not know about that whole fan-made characters thing......... I'm glad this show exists. :)
Man I loved the Battle Network series. Played all 6 of em
I hope you are hyped about the Legacy collection
2:45 " from Battle network 4 and on..." PLEASE NOTE: Megaman Battle Network 3 was also in 2 different versions: White and Blue or White and Black in Jap release. Both the versions had different Mega chips only usable in each version as well as special boss character navis separate for each version. Players would need to trade chips with each other in order to obtain all 7 stars to fully complete the game.
Wow, Kirbopher, I remember watching TOME when he started that long ago; influenced by battle network of course!
