I know I've asked you this before, but to refresh my memory... How much horsepower can you get from the R8 V8 before needing a clutch or gearbox modification like this? And, can you just replace 1st and 2nd gear or just 2nd gear and clutch? (I mean I know you can, what I mean is what do you recommend)
I know what material they are made of… cause I made them 😊 Dunno if I’m allowed to say though. Odd seeing the old 2 piece gears again (1st through to 5th and reverse all one piece now).

We don’t know if it’s a communication problem but I was doing a pull, for reference of the TwinTurbo car running around 1400 crank (800 lbft) and I threw a code shifting into 5 gear. I thought I had billet baskets, but I don’t but I had just accidentally re-flashed the ECU with the wrong file so I decided to watch your video and now I realize how complicated these things are. I do not have a second gear upgrade and I’m on a base model gearing. So I’m sort of overhear crapping my pants wondering how much it’s gonna cost lol.

Not bulletproof! But a lot stronger for the requirements of the additional torque! Think of it like uprated rods in an engine!

Why not just use a bearing press to crush the sleeve?
We do, but still the worst job in existence! Also doesn’t allow for adjustment of preload.

@@REPerformanceUK Arizona. B-Rogue built the car in Chicago. I believe they are flying out to complete the repair and perform some upgrades.
