NEW HOUSE PROJECTS 2023 :: Dining Room Makeover on a $0 Budget!! FB Marketplace Thrifted Furniture Flip | This Crazy Life
Hey! I’m so happy you’re here today!!! I’m currently thinking of videos to share next month, and wanted to get your suggestions - so let me know what you’d like to see! {the pink bathroom is happening as soon as the boys go back to school in a couple weeks… but what else?!} Also, I hope you love this house project/dining room makeover as much as we do!! Have an AMAZING day!! You deserve it! 🥰 ♥Amanda
I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do to your bedroom furniture to make it more your style. I've heard you talk about it before and I'm curious about how you plan to do it 😊
@@oct1863 oh yes! I’ve been playing with ideas in my head! I think once we get the bathroom done - that will be the next thing on my list
I love the color of the table as is, the black of the chairs really elevated the whole look. Great job Amanda..anxiously awaiting your bedroom makeover, i just know it's gonna be on point ❤
Looking forward to laundry room makeover. I’m wanting to do mine … so can’t wait to see what y’all do!
I personally like the table as it is. That contrast just pops. You have inspired me to make changes to my tired looking table!!
The wood color on table really goes well with your picture in the dining room and does not clash with your other wood
Thank you!! 💕 I’m really happy with how it turned out!!
Yes. I noticed the pic makes it cohesive.
Yay🎉you are finally doing it. I am so happy
I agree. No need to sand it.
I would keep the table top as is. It pulls the deeper tones out of your artwork in the dining area, but has some highlights as well. It really brings the kitchen, dining area together. The chairs turned out wonderful and I love how the cactus accentuates your high ceilings in the living area. Have a wonderful weekend!
Ahh you’re so right!! I love it! Thanks Kathy!!
I agree❤❤❤
Love the table as it is. It balances out the two toned stools and has just enough color variation to make it interesting. Your kitchen looks amazing.
I wouldn't change the table at all - I think the color is so complimentary to the rest of the wood (including your floor). Keep it the way it is - it looks great and will be MUCH easier than stripping/waxing. Love the cactus - it's HUGE!!! :)
I agree with your points!! And Omgsh yes! I love the cactus! 💕
I love the look of your dining area and I think the table is very complimentary to the sideboard and the stools. That cactus skeleton is awesome!! Loved all the kitties in the window ❤
Thank you!! 💕 so hair you loved how it turned out!
I love the table the way it is. All the different tones in the wood make it go with all the different wood tones in the room.
I would love to see a garage clean and backyard/pool area clean. Maybe the laundry room makeover? 🌺
Leave the dining table the way it is. Your home is Beautiful & love watching your projects.
I like the table as it is,it ties in the painting on the wall👍🏻🙋🏻♀️
Taking decorating slowly and adjusting as you go makes so much sense. I’m looking forward to the boys bathroom makeover! You always come up with such clever accent walls and cosmetic updates. 😊
I like the table as it is. The black chairs complement the table perfectly.
Leave the table like it is,! It really works the way it is!!👏🏻👏🏻❤️😃. Perfect addition with the chairs and painting them!
The table is perfect the way it is ❤
The black chairs add a touch of elegance!! I like the table as is!!! All looks great!!!
I love the table the way it is. REALLY!!!! I think it goes perfectly with the raw wood and the black chairs. OMG the cactus skeleton is awesome. Looks so good. I would put some potted plants around the base.
I love the table and chairs. My vote would be that you leave the table as is. I love the different tones in the table. Looks amazing!
I agree the table as is looks best. It has a lot of character.
The beyond paint is a game changer, such a smooth high end finish. Yes, a different shade for light.
Great job
Love the table as is!!!
Gives an added dimension!!!
I agree with Kyle about the light fixture with windows & other things being off center. The round makes it not so obvious.
Great job!!!
Love all your makeovers.
The chairs look awesome newly painted. Don't change the color of your table...it looks wonderful the way it is.
I would keep the table the way it is. Love how everything flows with the colors between your kitchen, dining room, back splash and your new countertop. I really enjoy watching you and the projects you do. It inspires me to be a little more creative with mine. I look forward to all the projects you have lined up to do, plus the recipes. Thank you!
The table as it is, it’s perfect 😊 Some greenery at the bottom of the cactus would be beautiful 😊
I am loving the new table and chairs. Leave the table as is. Everything is blending so we'll. I love the cactus. It is such a awesome touch. Put the plant in the guest bedroom since it will get plenty of light there. Awesome job with dining area. ❤
I like it as is. I am a very eclectic decorator. I love putting things together that shouldn’t match, but ultimately do go together.
Love the dining room set as is!! Love it!! However, that area is worthy of an upgraded light. Come on Kyle can definitely center a new light above that table!!! You can do it!!!
The table goes very nicely with your desert scenery picture.
I like the cactus because it is a very unique piece, but it does seem like you need a bit of greenery, too.
I think you should leave the table top as you have it. Looks great and love how everything came together. The skeleton cactus is a great addition. Love it all :)
Love the table the way you left it. It has enough “lightness” to it that it woks really well with the way you did the chairs at the island and the other pieces in the kitchen. As crazy as it may seem I’ve never thought about painting furniture to help update/change the look so it matches any updates in my decor that I may want to do. You have been giving me so many ideas - a huge thank you!
I love the chairs, the dark matte of them, I think the table is absolutely lovely and I am inclined to think on the same lines as you, by leaving it alone and not going all matchy matchy. It truly does change the look of the dining and I think you picked out beautiful chairs and table.
Put the tree you moved to put the saguaro 🌵 skeleton (omg I LOVE THAT!!) on the other side of the couch and move the plant that’s there now to this side of the couch. So the saguaro is it’s own thing, and then the plants with the greenery can flank the couch.
I love how the chairs turned out!
Ideas for next month...let's go shopping! I really enjoy that. Food prep and recipes, too.
Love the table as is, and the runner really ties it in with the other furniture without being too matchy
I would love to see a back yard /pool seating area refresh!!!!!
Oh my....loved the table as soon as you placed it in your dining room. It compliments everything else so beautifully. 😊
I agree in leaving the table the color it is. It actually looks as though there are natural looking tones throughout it. At least that's how it looks on this side of the camera. Awesome job and FB find!
My vote is to keep the table as it is. I love the color!
I love the new table just the way it is. The slightly darker color makes the room really warm & inviting. Overall, I like the new table with the black chairs. Great work as usual!
I think sanding it down to the raw wood would look amazing! Love those chairs!!
Also, whatever you want to film, I'll want to watch!
I like how the table top is now. Even though it doesn’t completely match, it still goes together
My personal feelings on the table is to paint it the same color white as your kitchen cabinets, and then it will lighten that space, the black chairs will really pop against it. It won't be matchy matchy the other furniture but it will feel like an extension of the kitchen, and feel more intentional in the space. Not to mention white is super easy to decorate on. Any decor you place on it, even if it's just a runner and bowl of fruit, is going to look great. You can literally use any design or color runner you like on a white table.
The cactus skeleton is SUPER cool! I love it...and the space I'm most excited to see get made over is your master bedroom, specifically the bed. It is a little bit farmhouse looking for the rest of the space, and I would love to see the room get a focal wall behind the bed.
I am often amazed by how you can change ugly old furniture into beautiful modern looking pieces !
Absolutely gorgeous!! I wouldn't change the top of the table.
Love the cactus skeleton. Amanda you are absolutely amazing.
Please do another recipe or two .
Beautiful family and gorgeous home.
Hi Amanda i think that Sand the table could give the room a prettiest look. The 🌵 skeleton Is absolutely wonderful
I would keep the table as is. I personally love the contrast. Its not drastic, just enough to add a bit of "change" and it still matches perfectly. I think it goes really well with the picture above the sideboard too
Love the dinning room table as is the wood blends in beautifully. I think a new light in there would be great. I would put I dropping plant on the ledge over near the cactus. I would love to see a laundry makeover next month as well as the pink bathroom.❤🇦🇺
I love the table the way it is. The black chairs turned out very nice.
2nd attempt - previous one dropped off. I would love to see your family do a Fire Drill! Your beautiful, large home has kids on one floor and parents on the other. Drop ladders for the boys and maybe the smother cloths for small fires along with fire extinguishers in each of their rooms and a solid plan on how NOT to panic and what to do, where to meet the family for a head count outside, etc. Your adorable family can make it so fun when practicing but will remember the "lesson" for your peace of mind even in the hopes you NEVER have to use it. You are a great educator and could help a lot of people with safety awareness for their homes. Ours was like a clown car chaos skit, but the kids did learn the process. HGTV should scoop you up! You are amazing and so is Mr. Husband Goals! Loving all the things you are achieving as you transform that home into a showplace!
The cactus skeleton is sensational !!!!
one video i would love to see in august is deep cleaning all of your cleaning tools and machines. everything looks so good!!!
Leave it! I love the way it looks now. And mixing wood tones is just fine ❤ I love the black chairs, and I’ll keep that paint choice in mind. Keep ‘em coming!!!
I wouldn’t change a thing, it’s perfect!! Great Job!!!
Love love love everything the way it is. Don't change a thing. 👍👍👍
Love the table as it looks. I think it compliments the other wood colors and doesn’t clash.
I say leave it as is sis!! It looks great!! The table has the light and dark tones of your home. Match made!!
Amanda, Love how your desk turned out and love the pictures in Kyle's office.. That made a huge difference...Great job
I wouldn’t worry about the greenery you mentioned at the end of the video. It would look cluttered and over done. This is a statement piece and is stunning on its own
Amanda try spray painting the wicker light fixture black before getting a whole new fixture. Or maybe get a larger wicker light and spray it black. Good luck and God's speed always.
Very beautiful, everything you did in the kitchen and dining room, and the new tree is really beautiful, the cactus. I want to hug it.❤
Love, love, love the dining room set and the cactus skeleton! It's awesome how you're embracing the local culture and desert environment and tying it into your decor. And so tastefully done. I would also leave the table as is. It's beautiful. Thanks for sharing. ❤
I would keep the table top the same 100 percent :) I agree with keeping the light fixture round. Can't wait to see a deep clean!
Well done! Love the table as is. It blends well with the decor yet doesn't make everything matchy. That might have been overwhelming all in one area. You always do great work and I love seeing all you and Kyle create. 👍☺️
I think you're right about the matchy matchy thing. I like how it is now 😊
I would leave the table alone and live with it for awhile. It looks good now. The cactus is awesome. I had no idea they got that tall. Put some planters around the bottom and scatter some air plants up and down the cactus and see if that satisfies your need for greenery. As usual, good job!
The cactus skeleton looks perfect there! 😊❤
I wish i lived closer, i love your old table. I love when you do projects, you can do any project videos, i will watch them...
I love how the chairs and table and I love the wooden cactus 🌵....❤❤
love the table and chairs and that Cactus Skelton is everything. ❤
I love your visions…..always!!! The table looks fantastic. I wouldn’t change a thing!!!
I like the table as is. It brings in all the woods tones in together
I would keep the table the way it is it has a beautiful top as is. Your chairs turned out great. I also agree with Kyle about your light.
I love the wooden table and the black chairs! Its perfect!!
After seeing how good the dining chairs look solid black, I think you should paint the seats to you island chairs solid black, too. Not the stools, just the chair seats. And keep your table as is. Looks great!
I love the way it looks with all black chairs and the table looks much better. Wow that temperature is 54 degrees celsius that's incredible 😢
The cats in the window!! I can't!! 💖
I like the table the way it is. Always a good time with you.
Leave table the way it is. Looks great.
Love the color of the table with the picture and pulls warm tones from your countertops!
I love how the chairs look now! But I love seeing your kitties too 🥰
I wouldn't change the table at all, I looks so beautiful as is! I love your home so much, it's so Gorgeous!
Such amazing two purchases that go so well together now that the chairs are painted. (Because of you, I love Beyond Paint! and...of course...you do what you like, it is your home and...I love the table as is. It isn't the same raw wood color but it's in the same family of colors. So my suggestion is to save yourself the work and just enjoy the table as is. 😊
I like the new table as is. I do think you should get a rectangular light fixture. Light fixtures in dining rooms should match the shape of the table.
Thank you!! 💕
I like the table left the color of wood that it is because I think it would actually help hide stains and stuff that gets on the table a little better and it looks so good!
I really like the way that it is now and it is just beautiful, but if you change it I still thank that it will be beautiful. What a different it makes.😍💖
I love the bit of warmth the table (as is) brings to the room. I think it’s a good balance as is. It will be beautiful either way, but I definitely vote to leave the table as is.
Oh WOW Amanda the table looks amazing .Completley finishes off the kitchen .The cactus what a great converstaion piece!!! But wow factor ..You have such great decorating skills ..Thanks for sharing
I love the new table and chairs. They go just fine with your other pieces!!!
I would keep the table as is. I kinda like the light as is too. Everything is looking so nice!
Amanda everything looks absolutely beautiful. Every time I watch your channel your home is so inviting and welcoming. Have a Wonderful evening
I LOVE the cactus skeleton for your house!!
Keep the table the way it is, I'm loving how it looks. Also I think a rectangle light fixture would look better, personally I'm not a fan of the current one with the new table. I look forward to the pink bathroom makeover. I would love to see a laundry room makeover or your master bedroom :)
I think the table looks great like it is I wouldn’t change a thing 🥰
Cactus skeleton is 😲 gorgeous 😻
Leave the table how it is. It looks great with the chairs❤
Paint the base of the skeleton black to have it blend a bit more - I love it!
The chairs turned out great and I like the table like that ❤. I've never seen a cactus skeleton, that's incredible 😲 😊
I really like the table as is … beautiful. The chairs go perfectly with it. Well done
I love the table just as it is. I feel like it flows great.
Leave the table as is…..it has a lot of light tones already. I love the look. You guys have a beautiful home.
Love the way everything turned out! I vote to leave table as is. Also, a fridge organization video would be wonderful. I’ve been binging them recently since getting a new fridge.
I love the table as is. I’ve been enamored with saguaro skeletons for years. What a great find!
