I want to thank you for taking us along on your adventures. I have been house bound since my husband passed away four months ago. I am all alone and it's hard to distract myself. And I found this channel and it brings me peace. I love to walk through the woods and wander around nature. I don't have anyone to do that with anymore. Keep adventurizing! I feel like I'm almost there. I thought the church in Mississippi was soul special. 😊 I meant to say so special but, my phone picked its own word and maybe a better one. Sincerely, Carly
Hi Chris, wow they were so detailed and so beautiful. I think my favourite has to be the dragon though as you can see every single scale, the detail is amazing. Obviously a very talented artist, thanks for sharing. x
I'm sure you avoid meeting viewers for safety reasons, which I completely understand (and would do the same), but you were within minutes of us! We love your channel and would have loved to talk with you. And that's really saying something, because I am not very outgoing. Thanks for letting us know abt these carvings - had no idea.
Thank you, Chris, this is awesome! The artist creates amazing tree sculptures all the while knowing they are but temporary sentinels to his great skill. As always, you provide an intriguing backstory to your finds. Love the videos and I look forward to more! :)
Hi Chris, Loved this video. Such nice work Tim T. does / did. I always feel a little sad at the end of your videos, realizing I will soon run out of them. Take care.
Here in Overland Park, Kansas, next to a busy street, on a corner lot, a family had dozens of trees, carved out, like what you showed in this video. But, these here, were moveable. Still large, though. Now, these are no longer at the same location. No idea where they are. I also noticed, that most are of men. Very few if any, women. We all know, women can have a nasty bark, like men!
Why has no Paint Company / Manufacturer not 'sponsored' some form of preservative coating on these Wonderful Carvings ! if for nothing else to protecting his work.
FYI, Orr Park is located in Montevallo, Alabama. It’s 30 miles south of Birmingham.
Iceland to Alabama??? This is some pretty amazing carving. Thanks as always for showing us the world through your lens... Hope you enjoy the holidays!
I keep asking myself, How do you ever find these places?? This one is among my favorites, Chris. Fascinating concept and brilliant work. Thank yoU!

Yeah I bet that dragon took him a long time to create
@@MobileInstinct2 Yes it must have as there are so many of those little scales and he would had to carve quite deep to get the tail etc in.

Amazing! I'm in love with that dragon one, it's gorgeous. Thanks for sharing another great spot!
The sculptor certainly is a fan of mustaches and beards. Beautiful sculptures. My favorites: The dragon, totem pole, and Easter Island Moai.
He may of been a biker. Or a fan of motorcycle artist David Mann.
That was so cool! And enjoyed your humor too. Thanks, Chris!

Tim Tingle is a retired miner. He started carvings in Orr Park in 93. The Tinglewood Festival is named after him.

Hi Chris!
I wonder how many geocaches are in that park.
Totally McDonald’s tree! Such cool l stuff. Thanks for the video.
It's actually the final resting place of the trees from Wizard of Oz.

Isn't it nice that the artist was allowed to do something for free?
Blue-eyed and European looking "Indian" at 8:00.
