I have the pay over time feature but I don’t recall signing up for it; it seems it’s been there all the while. I never use it because I pay my balance off every month. I hate that I missed out on the points but I’m confident that I never received the offers.
UponArriving I just spoke with them and they told me that there are two types of Pay Over Time: Select and Direct. Select gives you the option of choosing an item for Pay Over Time if that item is $100 or greater. With Direct, any item $100 or greater is automatically set for Pay Over Time. The rep said I was automatically enrolled in Select on my Gold card and Direct on my Green card but that not everyone is enrolled automatically.
On my new platinum Amex card on my app says I have 5k of pay over time available it’s active on my app so I still have to sign up or am I enrolled already not sure ?

Amex probably automatically enrolled you in Pay Over Time. I've heard of that happening, which is a bummer!

I signed up after getting my Platinum card with 10k sign up. My pay over time limit is 40k.
