These stories are so interesting! My English would never be at the quality it is now without Smosh giving me the motivation to improve.
All this episodes with UA-cam OG's have been like seing those episodes in series, those where we can see the near future of the caracters after the story ended and how their lifes have continued after the story. Especilally with Anthonyy, I feel like most of us grew up seing his content, and been able to know how much this man still wants to do in this platform, how much he have changed trough the years and that, after all of that, he still sees his job as something to have fun with, is something that makes me really happy for him
This is really a huge treat having Anthony as a guest honestly! I grew up watching Smosh (I’m 23 now) so seeing Anthony on here honestly makes me extremely happy
Wow time really does fly. I can't believe how long it's been.
Same. I still watch Smosh (they still make some bangers from time to time) and Anthony and my inner childhood is still longing for that reunion.
Still remember getting hyped to watch their food battles... 16 years ago.
Oh god that was so long time ago. I wonder what's up with the food battle announcer back then.
yoooooooooooo never thought Anthony would be on, but honestly perfect collab! Thank you Anthony for bringing light on less shown disorders, topics that many won't cover, and is so respectable for each person
Anthony is so incredibly humble, respectful and well-spoken. Fantastic episode!
Wow you can tell all 3 of the boys are so inspired and have the upmost respect for Anthony near the end, especially Connor.
That was so engaging, the boys did a great job asking him the questions and Anthony was great at talking, I was paying attention throughout the whole thing
I have never seen a person as brilliant and talented but just as humble as Anthony. This episode really made me want to reconsider how my life is going.
Yea
10/10 episode. “We have nothing planned “ “planned? What ya mean bud, we invited you, that was the plan” lol
Having dear Anthony on the show is awesome. Trash Taste is gonna be the podcast that eventually everyone is gonna wanna be on- mark my words
I think their formula is just their...solid friendship, regardless of who's sitting next to them. Values that never clash enough to make a dent that could ruin their friendship or work. They have each other's backs by showing up and being honest. And honestly, I love this podcast. I love the specials. Trash taste after dark as well. I just love the three of them doing anything. And I wish all of it would keep going as long as they're comfortable, happy and healthy. And if one day they wake up and go: we're going to do this new thing because we're sick of doing the same old, thing. Then I am all in. I think a lot of trash taste fans just, love the three of them together. Their personalities just go well together. Honestly, no matter what they talk about, I am in. I don't think I've ever watched someone arguing over bread and caring, or laughing about it at all. They just make it work, naturally. Also, Anthony, as always, smashed it. He's so well spoken, down to earth and passionate, one can't help but root for him.
Anthony is spot on with the idea in peoples mind that higher views = better video, I would always skip past low viewed videos thinking they weren't worth it. Never heard anyone address it before I was surprised that Anthony brought it up.
I was more expecting "I spent a day with Trash Taste" on Anthony's channel then this, but I'm not complaining, I loved this episode!
Man, this felt like a history documentary for UA-cam. I learned so much stuff
I think this was probably one of the most humbling and informative episodes yet! And having Anthony speak almost made me wish the episode was longer
Definitely one of the most enjoyable episodes to listen to so far. You can tell Anthony has gained a lot of wisdom and valuable people skills over his time on UA-cam.
I thought I was never going to be happier about a Trash Taste guest after Sean was a guest but I've proven wrong and I couldn't be happier

You said you’re gonna get many guests. Didn’t expect Anthony to be one of them, and now I’m excited for whom you’re gonna bring next
Either Ludwig or Jessica Nigri mark my words
@@acht467 Exactly why, but Jessica is also confirmed
@@gabrielkeni7965 Is she? I know they posted what appears to be her dog wearing Trash Taste merch, but that's more like "all but confirmed" then "confirmed".

Y'all are killing it with the collabs, I never expected or knew that I needed this but I'm so glad this exists
Thank you trash taste for making the lonely times not so lonely. Throughout my exams in May and June having the weekly podcast to listen to really helped to push through it. Now, my girlfriend has just sadly broken up with me but by listening to the boys just enjoying themselves and talking fills that void a little for 2 hours of my day.
Thank you so much ❤
You'll do fine mate just takes a bit of time. Hope you have a good day.
@@jvtps765 ❤️❤️
it sucks breaking up with someone but I hope you can heal and are able to get support - sending good vibes!
Anthony just seems like such a beautiful person throughout. How much care he puts into his interviews and his career as a whole is really inspiring. Even when he talks about stuff like pony play and dominatrix it's just like "wow, such a wholesome guy!"
one of the living legends and OG youtubers Anthony.
Anthony is such a natural fit with the boys but that is more so his personality of being super chill but also goofy and silly too.
damn one of the OGs of UA-cam, the boys have had the craziest guest list in LA so far
The funniest UA-camrs I know and the most respectable UA-camr I know in the same room?! What a gift; love both of your works, Trash Taste and Anthony!!
“It’s hard to say where I wanna go next, but I think more importantly, I know where I wanna go now.” 😮💨👏🏽 what a gem of a quote
Wow i really loved getting a closer insight of Anthonys head space and perspective on all of the topics discussed and it was just really refreshing and inspiring to watch i appreciate this completely unexpected collab that im so grateful we got
Literally one of the OGs of UA-cam. In fact, I would even say THE OG of UA-cam. Smosh is definitely what shaped up most kids back then. Glad to see Anthony doing well with his new stuff.
Only 20 mins in and you can tell Anthony is a pro at this stuff
This collab is unexpected but 100% appreciated.
On a TrashTaste binge so watching all this for the first time, funny watching this though and seeing that Smosh is back together almost a year later.
frfr
It warms my heart to see Anthony on the Trash Taste Podcast as I started watching Smosh in 2009.
What I love most is to hear all the experiences about being a UA-camr. These stories are so interesting!
My English would never be at the quality it is now without Smosh giving me the motivation to improve.
This is giving me some weird whiplash and I love it!
Honestly one of the best guest episodes, both enjoyable and insightful throughout.
As someone who's also been around at the time when UA-cam was literally a baby(more so as a viewer), this episode has kinda been a nostalgia trip and also very educational in terms of how to deal with a business and reading/gauging your environment. Great job.
man, i literally remember watching smosh when i was in MIDDLE SCHOOL and im almost 30 now. it's so freaking cool seeing anthony still doing what he's doing and being successful. kudos to him.
Those collabs just getting better and better ,and it make me so proud for some reason
I SCREAMED when I opened UA-cam and saw Anthony as a guest!! So dope I love hearing the inside scoop of what happened with smosh
As someone who grew up with smosh,
this did put a smile on my face
Always love listening to everyone’s stories, and it was interesting hearing more about content creation, history, motivation, and inspiration. Finally finished this throughout this week and can’t wait for tomorrow’s episode 🥰
I was kinda worried about all the guests being guests I'm not interested in but they're all such a nice trip down nostalgia lane for me
I haven’t known a single one.
The episode I never knew I needed
As someone who grew up on UA-cam and was a huge Smosh fan this episode means so much. S/o to Anthony actually coming on, one of my childhood heroes
I’m ngl, I was one of those people who stopped keeping up with Anthony a bit after he left Smosh, and didn’t know how he was doing until this podcast. When I first saw his name, it’s weird to think now-after listening to the whole episode-that my initial reaction was one of “really??? THe Smosh guy?” But after listening to this podcast, I’ve come out of it with such a different perspective and appreciation for Anthony, and I’m super glad I gave the episode a shot, cuz this is definitely one of the most interesting episodes I’ve listened to in recent memory. What a guy Anthony is! Building up from the ground up, and bringing in a new audience after being the top of the pyramid as someone different basically. I’m sad that I didn’t go back to watch his stuff sooner, but I’m definitely checking him out again now!
19:20 They are laughing about it how Joey made it sound sexual but is nobody going to point out how Anthony was talking about rephrasing what other people say and Joey rephrased what he said?
yea!! i noticed it too
I was a huge fan of the spanish channel of Smosh called "ElSmosh" when I was a kid and OMG this made me so happy, Anthony it's such a cool dude & I can't believe the bois got all this in this guests in this trip, keep it up guys you're killing it!
I saw Anthony and immediately clicked the episode...this was so great to hear about all this history and down right crazy shit. And I love it
Wtf i genuinely did not expect this let's goo!
Me, I was that person that didn't know who he was , im glad you always introduce your guests because outside of j-youtubers I don't watch many others. To be honest I thought Smosh was so cringey back in the day so I never gave it a chance. After listening to this though I feel like I should give Anthony's interview show a chance . Thanks for introducing him on such a casual level.
Word. Had no idea. The only Smosh I ever watched were their collaborations with I Set My Friends On Fire. Recognized him here from memories of those videos.
Thats funny, VTubers(English speaking ones) seem more cringe to me, since they try to sound like the Japanese Vtubers with the high pitched voices.
@@xPhantomxify your probably right , but j wouldn't know I don't really watch V tubers unless they come on to my fyp on tiktok
I really enjoyed this episode. Getting Anthony's perspective as an og youtuber was pretty cool too this collaboration was awesome. ALSO THE BOYS ARE ON TOUR THATS SO EXCITING CONGRATULATIONS. It's super cool to see how far the podcast and the boys have come since like 2020 yk lol.
It’s really cool to see them talk candidly about what it’s like to live their career, work life balance, work passion and goals and how to make a career fulfilling vs having a job. This was just a really good interview that added to my life so kudos 🥰
I sure do love how many crossover episodes we are getting!
Me back in 2012 : "Oh this gigguk anime zone youtube guy seems cool. He's got about 40k subs, his bleach review was pretty funny"
Me now in 2022 : "Gigguk and the LEGEND OF UA-cam FROM 2005 IN THE SAME ROOM HOLY SHHHHoooooo!! 0_0"

Many recent Trash Taste videos have felt more like interviews than just some weekly trash talk with the boys. But this episode hits different. The dynamics between them is great and I've really enjoyed it so far (I'm almost halfway through the video but I have to do something else xD )
Smosh was the first channel I subbed to. The channel that got me hooked on UA-cam. I will never forget the Pokémon, tmnt and other spoof videos. It's crazy how things grew and changed but Anthony still seems grounded. This is one of my favorite interviews
We got a goldmine of guests but I can’t wait for a normal Chris pod back in Japan
Trash taste has truly ascended beyond the bounds of a podcast
