3:38 You need 9 liters or 9.5 quarts. Add around 8.5 liters or 9 quarts then start your engine. Check the level with dipstick then add more to get to desired level
Thanks Jordan, I just needed to hear the " just a good tug removes the filter" part and I was surprised to find out that it was simpler than I expected from das German engineering.

@@JordanTomasone It's interesting. My sprinter is a 2006 with 26,000 miles. I had to add around 9.5 quarts to get to the full mark on the dipstick. Took the van out on a long trip and kept getting the "H" with the little oil can error (where the odometer should be) accompanied by audible warning every 5 or 10 minutes. I had to purchase a cheap oil drain pan and drain out about 3/4 of a quart to make the overfilled error go away. Now the dipstick shows about 1/4 of the way down from the low to high marks (3/4 up from low mark).

Hi dear friend i have one question , i have Mercedes sprinter 313 2003 model , 129ps before i use oil 10w40 , if i want 5w30 oil i can use ?

Why would you put your van up on ramps to drop the oil ??? You've probably left half the oil still in the engine 😳
good point, I did end up over filling the engine and had to bring it to a mechanic
