It IS really Cool! I still haven’t picked up any modules, yet. Been getting things related here n there, though. Got a power supply strip and some face plates for building modules. Well... you know... I have the Neutron, Crave and Model D, so I’m not without noise makers. Ha ha I need to build me a skiff, I’m thinking. Getting off topic, again. Sorry... this Kickall thing is great!
i finished building the even vco and burst and got output and vc adsr up next. im like doing this for the first time. it is kinda dry where i live. i soldered the ics without ESD stuff and the sockets in my first attempt cuz i didnt know for what it was and didnt pay attention in the manual. thanks for the heads up ill keep a look out for theses CMOS CHIPS if i come across these. hope there weren't any CMOS CHIPS in the ones i have done already!
@@observer010 I don't think Befaco modules use much CMOS, you should be fine. DO use sockets though, so if something happens you can easily swap out a chip. CMOS chips have a prefix, most used in synths are CD. So the CD40106 or CD4017 which are common are CMOS, for example.
For me this is the best demo of the Kickall. Most people go all square wave with way too much pitch mod. Good work!
Befaco so many cool modules.
yup!
Nice module .... and good video 👍, thx ... the baseline theme you can make with this module ist awesome
Thanks :)
Nice quick demo.
sorta! 15 minutes!
I am loving your channel btw! going to become a patreon, such high quality videos
Much appreciated :)

Check out my video on the Befaco Lunchbus, I go through my process of putting together my little travel rack, fun stuff ;)
great video i am thinking of making this.. also tempted by the prok bd.. what you using for the snare/hats please?
Thanks! Snare is Braids and hats are gated white noise :)
Sounds great! What did you use for the hihat and snare?
Thanks! The Hihat is noise from my Multiwaves module with random decay lengths, and the snare is Braids!
can someone tell me if i need to wear antistatic wirst band when touching the ics when building these modules?
Nah, never did wear one and I never broke anything. ;)
Only for CMOS chips, usually, though it's not a bad idea to wear them anyways if you live in a very dry place.

I have to add this module to my list now. Where did you get the beatstep skin?
It's the limited edition beatstep
yeah, it's the Black edition, not a skin at all :)
Synth Diy Guy Oh Snap.
Shame it doesn’t have an accent controller and accent CV input, that would’ve been ace.
that's not a bad idea!
Is their a dyi kit?
yes! there's a link to my kit build video in the video description above
Ah oops thanks!!
Befaco Kickall Demo Video - 15 minutes play of beatstep pro 😒👎
