Hey hey! I was saying let's try out 'using the crush delay to make some weird noisy percussive sound'. The crush inputs are just gate inputs for the three crush switches. While they sound interesting, I never managed to do much exciting sending a gate rather than manually switching.
Man! I tried to build one and it's all sorts of messed up. Gets super glitchy by a quarter turn and complete disaster at midway. Can't get it to work. Oh well.
@@MODCAF Yeah, I have been, but I sourced the parts myself. I've built several from them and sourced all the parts and everything has worked beautifully except this one. I'll just have to live vicariously through videos until I get the time to get it back on my bench.
@@dragonstuff1983 Well it's the great problem of sourcing parts on your own.. I have built lots of full kits and had never problems.. but when it came to sourcing parts by myself it was always a bet! don't know where did you purchase your parts but I don't like the Befaco BOMs because they don't specify parts at a single supplier like as an ex. Mouser..
@@arinevakaoppositaer7241 Yeah, I agree. I figured I would give it a try, but it's been more hassle than enjoyable trying to figure out which parts are specified. I was able to get the Kickall I sourced parts for working on the first try, but the Delay is all sorts of wonky. For now, it's sitting on my bench reminding me to troubleshoot it, but I keep ignoring it.
Love that jam at the end
nice demo saw it on befacos site. and clicked over to UA-cam when I heard the music. love the tunes at the end!
Cheers Jay! I may have been gone for a while (I blame music retail), but the modular itch needs scratching once more :)
The track at the end is from my EP - The Tape recording is on the channel, clean version on Spotify!
@@MODCAF ep is really nice. found U on the streaming site and into the playlist it goes.
@@MODCAF in that case welcome back and looking forward to more!!
@@quantumcadillac4748 Thanks so much Jay :)
can't wait to assembly it!
Nice module!
I have a lot from Befaco but I miss this one!
Nice video too!
Thank you! I love it so much, an absolute staple :)
8:43 Lets try it out - and then obviously you cut that out, right ? Was hoping someone would show using those crush inputs.

Thanks for the video! I'm currently planning to build a modular system to extend my neutron, I'll definitely put this one in!
You won't regret it! ❤️
Such a lovely Delay! Making a video too :)
Cheers Quincas! I have some footage of my build process, but I left it out. Thought I should leave it to the pro ;)
@@MODCAF Hahaha, by all means, feel free to post it, different approaches are helpful!
Great video
Thank you! :)
My god, that jam at the end. Was that all coming from your modular? Gorgeous.
In the outro? That's my previous video if you want to listen to the whole thing! And yes, all modular!

Get in touch with Befaco! They're all super nice and offer a 'Happy Ending' service if you send it to them :)
