Hi, I have a spider IV75 and the FBV shortboard MkII, I wonder if I can program the expresion pedal with the delay or reverb like you do un this video? do you know if it could be? or anybody know something about it? cheers!
The Helix expression pedal is the most worthless piece of shit did they could have put on this thing. You have to stomp on it and wrench on it just to get it to do anything. I don't even use it I bought an external expression pedal from Behringer. It's like the accelerator of a 1936 pickup truck. What a piece of crap. Did I say I don't like it? LOL
This video is really great...I will try these new stuffs! Let me ask, is possible when I press the expression to use the wah wah, turn on at the same time the delay?! Cause for live gigs, is not so good press the knob to go to the solo patch, and run to use the wah. I will keep your feedback...cheers from Brazil!
I’m learning how to program the expression pedal assign functionality. I’ve got it decreasing volume as I increase gain and vice versa. It works perfectly for what I need. But, I want to expand on it. Is there a way to actually turn on a compressor as I step on the pedal to its full toe position (full gain setting). All the time keeping it off while its in the heel position (clean)
Haha the look on his face when he reveals that you can use the expression pedal for any parameter! The look of childlike joy and a hopeful world of endless possibilities. I’m stoked about that function I keep my sound simple for the most part and automatically thinking using the pedal for adding reverb levels or even maybe two separate reverb types if I can . Awesome machine man
Love the product but the toe tap was a poor choice in my opinion. Example....Switching from one snapshot to a swell snapshot without realizing that you pressed down too hard earlier and tapped it to "EXP 1." You roll the pedal off and hit the big chord early, preparing to volume swell it in, but because you are inadvertently in EXP 1, an out-of-time obnoxiously loud 100% volume chord comes roaring through. If you have a good work around I would be happy to listen :)

It would be nice to activate the wah by pushing the pedal down like other digital fx processors.

i just wish the helix would have a heel switch so I can also use a whammy pedal instantly besides the volume and wah pedal^^
Change the minimum and maximum values ;)
you can reverse it in the settings to do what you want I believe
