Hey fam, she’s not doing anything wrong in how she’s baking, she’s just doing it different than you would. Hubby loved the recipe so need to try to correct her methods. Our individual ways of doing things gives us character and makes us unique.
The studio window is a dream and love the idea to put the tables close. Can’t wait to see it all come together ❤
When baking, pre-cut parchment paper ( found in stores ) does wonders in lining cookie sheets.

I wish I had a studio that people couldn’t actually see. We have an open concept house so you can see everything from any room except the bedrooms.
Hun, don’t use freezer paper for piping. Get press n seal lay a piece down with the sticky side up.Lay down ur body butter then bring the the press n seal together then pinch the press n seal together similar to the way u did it here. Swiss both sides cut one side w a scissor leaving a little bit of that twist. Slide in u piping bag give it a lil squeeze and there ya go. Sooo, much easier then this way. I ship oil n butter based body butter through out the year. U have to pack the heck outta it to insulated enough we’re it won’t melt. Also I put wax in it to bind everything together. When u insulate really well u need to use shred. U can’t use paper or peanuts or bubble wrap. It has to be shred and u have to pack it solid like a brick. What u can do also pack a box as if u had an order and do a couple different packing’s and mail it to urself. That’s what I do I mail stuff to me so I can get it exactly the way the customer gets it. That was the best thing I ever did. All business owners should mail there products to themselves. I found out that the bubble wrap I used around my glass bottles didn’t hold up like it should have and there was no air left in any of the bottles. They were 2 inch glass perfume bottles. lol, there was not 1 bubble that had air in it. I’m still shocked that the bottle didn’t break. That body butter looks beautiful and soothing n moisturizing. Beautiful product girl.

Just a thought- if you put some felt spots (like you use for chairs) on the bottom of the wire baskets it will prevent it from scratching your shelf. Also those oatmeal pies are my favorites to make- so amazing and my family loves them!!
I know it's probably odd, but I'm from the US and I use grams to make soap and cosmetics, even though I don't have to do so. I cook in Imperial measurements, but soap in metric. It's easier to find out measurements of containers if you convert 1 cm of length to 1 gram of weight.

Always hard to set up a new workshop but you'll get there. Perhaps have your wire racks in the center of your space that way it is still see through (regardless of what you put on them) and you can take advantage of all the wall outlets for the actual work space. It can also serve as a room divider where one area is production and the other side is the office packaging side. Food for thought. Or perhaps have an electrician add outlets on the floor or vertical strip and have your workspace in the center of the room. Lots of options for a great big space.

Love the new studio space. I think the Fizz Fairy, Oatmeal, milk and honey fragrance smells like the original Jergens lotion. If you have some, ask your MIL, she will probably remember the smell.

Do you have any advice on getting your recipes accessed or videos, it seems such an expensive process and there’s so many different views I get lost, I don’t really understand the process.
I do keep records of everything and I have put batch numbers on but not started selling yet.
A nice large space. Do you have a sink, water, etc. I don't think I saw that or missed it. So needed for us soaper's.
Nope, no sink. We’ll need to install one. Cale and I are NOT Reno people so it’ll be a whole new experience for us lol.
@@JerikaZimmerman Hopefully you have an accessible water line to tap into and same with drain line. Plumbing can be such a pain. I am really blessed with my husband being a jack of all trades. He built the building my shop and soap kitchen are in and did the plumbing, electric, etc. Good luck with it all. Probably a little frustrating waiting.

Why would you want to put Cannabis in a fragrant Oil? 😮The smell of it is horrendous with people smoking it nearby. Yet the actual tree of the Carribean of where it comes from doesn't have the smell of what people smoke. I remember when I smelt it at school for the first time during a science lessons and I'm still not sure how he got it got through customs 🤔but my teacher at the time had a Muscle Condition so he had clearance possibly back in the day of school.
I have yet to smell any cannabis scent that smells like cannabis. have yet to find one thats pleasing. FYI Baking tip .. brown sugar should always be packed into the measure cup unless a recipe says otherwise .
