    It is so kind and generous of you to share your obviously amazing recipe. There are creators here who legit won't even share which brand of baking soda they use.

    Jerika, that is absolutely beautiful. I’ve never seen a bath bomb demo as beautiful as this one. I have been struggling with failed bomb after failed bomb and was giving up. Then this. I bought a large amount of cream of tartar, even though it’s an expensive ingredient because I want to follow your recipe exact. I got them done and the tray I used to hold them fell onto the floor. Oh boy. My husband was able to salvage enough to make a couple just to see if they worked for me. I guess I’ll know tomorrow night. Thank you for sharing everything with us crafters. I’ll come back tomorrow to say how I did. Oh and by the way I live in Washington but I have a fairly large dehumidifier that keeps my 45-50 humidity. Time will tell.

    • @KayCee0216
      @KayCee0216 9 місяців тому

      so, here's my update. I worked at 40-45 humidity. about 2 hours after making them, I touched them and they felt like they were getting hard. this morning I look in on them and they are beginning to look powdery and sure enough as I touch them they are powdery. I repeat to myself, trust the process...... uuuhhhgggg. Tonight, exactly 24 hours later, the bombs aren't even close to being hard, they're more powdery than this morning, and when I drop one it falls apart (btw, I dropped a little one last night and it did NOT fall apart at all). I put it into my sink filled with HOT water and it drops t the bottom, with so little fizz that it's not even worth mentioning. So I ask, when I made the mix it seemed so wet, but didn't stick to my gloves and didn't fall apart when squeezed and dropped back into the mix. Two hours later the little one doesn't come apart when dropped onto the counter and felt smooth on the surface. This morning I see powder and tonight they fall apart and the one I gently put into water sunk and didn't fizz much at all. Please help!!!! Please?

    Thanks for the tip about the citic acid! A lot of people will not tell you to put in the citric acid in last. I just bought a bath bomb press. I can’t wait for it to come in. I live in south Louisiana in the States and we have high humidity which sucks but it is a natural skin moisturizer lol! I will be 50 in October and I am obviously going to start a company because I love what I am doing and I need to be able to market myself and sell because as you know supplies are expensive! Thank you for all your advice! It is so helpful for people like myself!!!

    That was an amazing video!
    I have three questions:
    I used your recipe but mine don’t foam nearly as much as yours do, idk if it might be the fact that I used coarse slsa or what. I have already bumped it up a little from the original recipe.
    Another question is if using micas for the actual bath bomb would make vibrant colors in the bath as well.
    Other thing is that mine take foreeeeeever to dry. I have a dehumidifier constantly running and the amount of oil is the same so idk what’s going on! 😭
    You’re so sweet and helpful cant believe you’re heading to 10k! That’s crazy congrats 🎉

    • @JerikaZimmerman
      @JerikaZimmerman  3 роки тому +2

      Micas will not give the bath water the same beautiful color that the bath bomb dyes do. Not even close. Sounds like you might need a second dehumidifier or a stronger one!
