We have had two hidey holes on our land for two years now and they do get used but just as a quick pass thru even though were in big timber. Sometimes the deer just casually walk thru without even feeding. Hopefully the hers gets more used to it
I nailed a doe in one Sunday evening. This strategy works very well. Saw two small bucks following her. It was a little weird. She had no milk and her glands were black. Bummed it's supposed to be 80 this weekend in VA.
Sorry to post a question here about your short video of the buck getting arrowed where his foreleg gets pinned to his chest but, there are so many arguing that the buck survived it and they insist the arrow didn't penatrate deep enough to reach the lungs or heart. Are they right or can I tell them that they don't know what they're talking about?
Great video
Sweet hunt 👍🦌
The camera Cody used made beautiful footage! That crop looks awesome.

Makes me want to try some ground hog. I saw the facebook post and it actually looked really good!
Surprisingly, very very good!
Tastes like beef. Dark meat and they eat the same as cattle.
I wouldn’t really expect like dark meat. I was more expecting like squirrel rabbit or chicken. If I see one I’m lettin it fly!
