1:23 so very kind of you! My husband was the one to get the baby, change, and hand to me while I get ready/move to the couch to do night time breast feeds. Everyone has their own routine and what works best for them but I SO appreciate his help to get up and help me

We have 4 under 4 and we love it!! Honestly the hardest time was having less kids.. I know it doesn’t make sense, but once we had a routine with 2, the third and fourth were “easy” so to speak! They love each other and do everything together, it’s SUCH a joy and a blessing!!!

Another helpful tip I learned while breastfeeding feeding was , don’t lay on your chest because that also stops the flow of your milk , and warm showers/baths are good to help any clumps of milk out , warm wash cloths and massages for your chest will do wonders. I definitely recommend having your babies close in age , I had 4 children within 6 years and they helped each other through their milestones helped each other walk, talk , eat, sing, dance, POTTY TRAIN! It was absolutely wonderful, yes there will definitely be hard times but it was so worth it. I am truly blessed and thankful for the way my family came out. I pray for you all to have many more blessings coming your way.

Soph is a natural Mom! She appears to do everything with such ease and is very organized. Taylor is such a sweet guy and so supportive of everything his family needs. What great couple. Any baby they have will be very lucky to be born into this lovely family. The details they share about what their experiences have been with pregnancy and a newborn must be so helpful for other young couples. Wish I had seen something like this when I was a new Mom many years ago.

Very natural in the early days to have a lot more milk than baby eats. Your supply will even out according to the feeding schedule as stimulation helps to produce more. 9 pounds is about the birth weight of my first child who is now 21 years old! it's awesome that she is cruisy and loves to sleep. It's great because there will be periods in her first year where sleep will be the last thing she wants to do! My first two children were not good at sleeping through the night but my youngest child was theist at feeding and sleeping. You have got skills for first time parents! You are doing so well.

The same thing happened to me after my first! I didn’t think I’d want them so close in age, but I had baby fever again within the first month or two. Lol We ended up getting pregnant 7 months postpartum, due in May 2024 (it is good to wait at least 6 months from studies I saw).
It is irritating to me how people will constantly tell you all the negative things about having kids, like you mentioned. The lack of sleep, the sleep regressions, once they start crawling/walking/getting into everything. Of course there’s challenges with every new phase, but overall I see the joy in it. Frustrating that people seem to only see the negatives and want to warn you about them or something.
Looking forward to the next pregnancy announcement! 😁♥️

I had twins in June 2018. My son is March 2020 and our other daughter November 2021. Pregnant with number 5. This will be the biggest age gap between any of our kids. The only downside I find with them being so close in age is as you have to deal with behavioral stages back to back as you enter a new one lol and it's harder on the body. I feel like I've had my butt handed to me lol but all that is really temporary. My girls are 5 now and love taking care of our 2 year old. Our son is 3 about to be 4 and is excited for a baby brother in April and wants to teach him about trucks and all his tools lol

  • @TashaOrmiston
    @TashaOrmiston 11 місяців тому

My two are 17m apart (so I caught when my first was 8m old) and the only thing I’d change if I could go back would be to make the gap even smaller! Honestly! I love the small gap and there are so many little perks that come with it like both children still napping giving you a little down time in the chaos and both children also never knowing a life without eachother. Still having all the baby things and hand me downs too. The pregnancy was a bit more difficult than the first because having baby to look after whilst pregnant obviously doesn’t allow you much time to feel sorry for yourself or rest but it’s such a short time in the grand scheme of things vs the reward at the end and so long as you have good support you can absolutely do it. I say go for it guys, if you know you want more than one child in the long run then there is no right or wrong age gap. All have their own pros and cons and if you feel young enough and feel you have the energy for a young family then do it! ❤️

Typically the more pumping you do the more you produce. More output tells your body it needs to make more. Eventually your body will get used to only producing as much as she eats but you have to let it self regulate. This advice is coming from a mom of 3. Hopefully you can figure out a smooth system for you and her. :)

First I wanna start by saying congrats on the beautiful little girl! She's so adorable!
2nd I wanna say. I totally know how you feel about wanting another little one so soon 🥰 you are soo so sooo not alone! In fact I got pregnant with our second when I was 9 months post partum. ! One thing I will say is, I do wish I would have waited at least a full year so that my body could fully heal. Physically it's been alot more painful towards the end of the pregnancy. But, sickness wise it's been alot better. Of course you guys do what's best for you and your little family ❤️🥰 but I do recommend at least giving yourself a year. It's alot harder being pregnant with a toddler. My son has begun to realize now that something is about to change and it's caused him to act out just a little lol preferring dad before me lol but he's coming around again and wanting momma snuggles. It's not easy and I'm sure you're already aware. But as much as I am excited to have our second. I am still a little nervous. But, by God's grace I know everything will be OK if I lean and trust in him! And the same will be for you! God bles you and your sweet family!

Honestly when I found out I was having a second one before my daughter was turning one it truly scared me. My daughters dad wanted them close in age but I didn’t really want one yet. It’s honestly is hard because my little is not 7 months and I’m at the point in pregnancy where I am struggling to breath and I get light headed. I have to tend to her through the night almost every hour. Sometimes it’s just her crying from a dream where her eyes are closed. Then adding in December she started having seizures so it all is very difficult. I love both kids and I’m trying to enjoy the pregnancy but it’s definitely not like my first pregnancy. 😅
When y’all do decide when just remember that it is difficult and keeping in mind that as long as y’all communicate& work together y’all will get through it.

Maybe what worked for you doesn't work for everyone. I paused the video because someone was talking to me, so I don't know what was said yet.
I have seen a lot of comments like this though, both sides should be talked about. Every child is unique, and you sound like you should know what I'm talking about.
Like if they have another baby now and the kids are a year apart, it can come with challenges. Especially if the first born excels at everything and does everything early.
You have two babies with very different schedules. And if you are breast feeding both, depending on when you stop breast feeding the first, some people do it longer. Or if you need to cook breakfast and feed one while breast feeding the other, and you have to pee. 😂. Might not seem like a big deal but a womans bladder sometimes isn't able to wait as long after having a baby... I don't think it hurts to give them all the possible info so they don't go into it expecting it to be easy , because it's not always easy.
What if they do and he ends up working lots or something and she has to do it all on her own, moms do it but it's hard even when it's easy. You know?

I was a young mother I had my first baby at the age of 18, our baby girl was so happy and she slept through the night around 2 months my husband and I were both thinking wow this is awesome. I found out I was pregnant with our 2nd baby when our daughter was only 8 months old 🤦🏻‍♀️ (FYI I was on BC with all 3 of my babies, it didn’t work) had our second baby he was early and born at 32 weeks and from the get go he was completely different. They are 14 months apart and boy did I have my hands full. Our son was and is something else lol I don’t know what it is about that middle child but lord have mercy. We swore we weren’t having any more, then we had our son. I had all 3 before I was 21. My kids are 19,18,17 now. Looking back it was crazy. Would I have done it different, IDK but I don’t regret anything. ❤
Yall are still young, cherish the time you have with your baby girl because they grow up fast.

I love your enthusiasm about having a big family. I am 19 and also wanna be pregnant and have a bunch of kids. Problem is even though I am engaged and in a long lasting relationship we cant afford to have babies now. We both have to finish school and be stable. My only advice would be to wait six months so your body can heal before getting pregnant again, so you can get pregnant many many times without any issues. Because if you had back to back pregnancies over a long period of time your body might give out. Doctors say to wait a year but I feel you, a year feels way too long. So i believe six months will do😂 Wish you the best ❤

Our daughter was easy until 3.5 months or so and then a switch flipped! She lulled us into a false sense of security for sure.
We've flown with her twice and never regretted not bringing the stroller. We just wear her and it's never been a big deal.

I’m one of five daughters and my oldest sister is 11 months older than me and then my sister next to me is 17 months younger than me so we’re all very very close. I think it’s great to have children close together so that they are not alone.

I’m pregnant with our first. Everyone has been super nice when finding out we’re expecting, but I absolutely hate the back-handed comments. "Awwwww, congratulations! But just WAIT until…" and they always bring up something negative.

When the baby stares at your eyes that means she wants to bond so she needs lotta long-term eye contact and soft love language. This will be very beneficial for her for the rest of her life and for your relationship with her through those toddler years and teen years. I really think that the Lord will be coming to get his bride fairly soon, but it’s still wonderful to bond with the baby and let the baby bond with you ~it’s a love story in its purest form.

Baby will start eating more when they get bigger and eat less frequently which is helpful for your freezer stash if you’re not producing as much as you once did. I was an oversupplier but my almost 10 month old is going through the freezer stash more now 😅
