I'd absolutely love to see Taylor do it, be a single dad for at least 8 hours. Thank you for noticing us single moms.
I work with 7 babies under the ages of 6 months and it’s a lot, but very rewarding! Needless to say I’ll be very much prepared for when I become a mom. Plus I’ve had over 26 years of experience with kids.🤷♀️

Was home with my oldest son alone all that time. His dad wasn't around. Then got married and 4 years later was married and had another son. Dad didn't have any time off so I was by myself until he got home. Was nothing like Taylor. Y'all are amazing parents

About your home…. It doesn’t matter if there are piles of washing… dishes…. Floors that need vacuuming.
Becoming parents is so much more than baby having a baby…. It really is learning to find our routine and simplifying the other stuff (cleaning). You can’t be super human… you will burn out.
When your babies grow up, the memories we have are of cuddling our baby…. Not cleaning the house. So enjoy being a mommy…. Look after yourself, rest when you’re tired. You really are a gorgeous family. ❤❤

Hi Soph! I hope this comment finds you well. I just wanted to add some friendly advice, as I couldn't help but notice something. One thing my mother taught me (When my younger brother was a baby) was to support the babies head even as you're laying them down. What I mean by this is, in the video at 3:13, to have one hand supporting behind your babies head, even as you're laying her down, as opposed to holding both hands by the chest area. Head support is always important, especially for young babies😊🩷 God bless you and your beautiful family!

I would spend all day with my infants after 1 week because my husband had to return to work. So taking care of a 22 month old & a newborn, after a c-section, was no big deal. I guess it's just how I was raised. And 'no' I didn't have help. My children NEVER spent the night at their grandparents until they were 8 & 10.
NO One could babysit my children. I felt they were safer with me or my husband.
Needless to say my sons were with me 24/7. I don't regret any of it. They raise their children the same way. It just works for all of us.

I love this so much, its so real, you dont have everything together, your not perfect, your still figuring things out, and the way you love your daughter makes me so excited to start my own family one day ( I'm 14 tho...) but it looks so rewarding

It’s okay that it’s messy haha. You’re a mom of a newborn. I had the exact same thing & he’s now 5.5 months & it hasn’t gotten much easier to be honest 😂 he’s always attached at my hip. But I’m a single mom so I literally never have time it’s so hard sometimes!

Not a single mama but my husband works and I stay home with the kiddos during the day. It is the hardest but best thing I have ever done🤪 I’m blessed to have the opportunity to be with them though!!

Soph, you did great! A couple of tips to help- use Caldesene powder on bottom. It’s like magic! And during that 3 hr nap- put her down and you get some rest. If you hold her during sleep, she will quickly get used to it and it will turn in to every time. Best of luck

Girl the laundry struggle is real! Our son was born end of October and I swear I've had a bottomless pile of laundry since! I put it away then it reappears a few days later. My nemesis as a new mama! Haha 😂

Also mommy hack. If you bring her in the bathroom with you with a rocker or something you can prop up a bottle with a blanket and then you can take a shower (but check on her when your taking a shower of course) you can even do it when your cleaning:))
Solo parented our newborn for 10 months when my husband had to leave bc military life. 😭 Not for the weak at all! But we’re all back together & thriving and that newborn is now almost 2 years old ❤

Not a single momma but my husband does work from 9-9 everyday . I stay at home with 2 babies and have a 3rd due in just a couple weeks . It’s definitely hard work but so worth it

Love yall my daughter is 4 months old and I'm a single mom I also have a 10 year old son and it's not easy at all but they make it worth it so glad you guys are together and strong it's hard for us because we both my Finance and I have hard depression and poor mental health on top of to family to support us but we do what can and we let Jesus guide us and we make it happen love you guys God bless

Y'all are wonderful parents! But just a little tip don't forget to do tummy time. It's very important for your baby, practicing lifting her head and gain her strength and it helps form the back of her head because she's not on her back. And it's very good to get any gas and burps that are being stubborn to get out. It prevents colic too. Just please read! It's very good to know and there are tons of videos on tummy time and all the benefits! But y'all are doing awesome. Love y'all. Please read! !

A tip: I used to heat up the sheets in bassinet/crib with a LOW heating pad, before I slipped them into bed, the coldness of the sheets woke them up
