    Great video! We are glad we could help your vehicles head gasket issues. Another way to ensure no restriction in the heater core or radiator would be to flush the system with a cooling system flush product prior to installation. Flushing prior to installing will ensure a clean system with proper circulation to ensure a great seal on the leaking area. You can also bypass the heater core when installing the product.

    I used this exact product in my 1993 Ford Explorer, manual transmission, 4 years after application. The car went bad after 4 years due to an unrelated failure. I think the engine would have continued another few years beyond 4 years. My use was mostly non-highway driving less than a speed of 50 mph.

    Based on your other video, I used it, was getting coolant into my tailpipe, I must have had a very small leak but had one, I used 1/2 bottle (6.9qt) is all the coolant my car held, and after 2 days so far, working, my heater after the 1st startup after the 30 minutes idle the heater was blowing cold, after the 30 minutes shutoff period I gently drove it for about 20 minutes, heat was slightly warmer, it sat overnight and I took it a short drive, heater was better, but still not as hot, I am hoping and think as I drive more it gets back to normal. Thank you for your reviews.

    I recently found milky substance in the oil cap and dipstick, I was thinking that it was condensation due to the cold weather and not driving the vehicle very much, only about 20 miles a week. I got an oil change the other day and used engine flush to clean out the engine, so far the car runs okay, with no smoke and the oil appears clean. f the problem comes back, I may try that product.

    well.... It got he home from the beach and a 4 hour trip home. Started having issues on way to beach while on vac. I had recently gotten water pump and thermostat changed and thought everything was ok on 2006 infiniti FX35. It ran hot, but pulled over and sat to allow engine to cool and replenish antifreeze and water. But was able to get to hotel. Took to local shop and they pressure tested engine and put on another thermostat. Still running hot... Told to replace the engine.. Ohh sh*t , There was a guy getting tires and he told he to give Bar's a shot.. Well , making a short story longer, I figured i'd try it and if it didn't work, i'd call AAA. It started out great but when I ran into traffic the needle jumped but when i started to pull over, it cooled down, this happened a million times in traffic. the hand danced up and down all the way home but made it. I drove it to local cleaners for pick up and it does the same. After 30 mins or so, needle dances up and down. Not sure what's next step, but I'm home and after 200k miles, I feel lucky. Outstanding car with no other issues even after owning 10 years. I'm the 2nd owner, Decisions....

    I have a question or a few plus a description of my situation. :)
    But first I want to thank you and also congratulate you for theses great videos, for the patience and dedication.
    I also owe a Jaguar XJ8 but the 2005, the engine basically still have some similarities to the one you have. The thing is that I have this car since 2016, I have never experienced any overheating or white smoke but I had this recurring misfire on cylinder 2.
    This year I wanted to restore and customize the car just because I always wanted to do it but now I had the time. (I customized the interior all by myself, it was painted due to some fade spots on the roof, I replace the stereo, new tires, etc) and just like a week later, when the car was exactly how I always wanted.... The white smoke happened, misfire on many cylinders, both O2 sensors with low input, but all this without any previous symptoms, just one night (a cold night, not even during a hot day) I was stopped at a red light and when I pressed the gas all that smoke came out.
    That's when I put the scanner and find all the faulty codes (I have that option on the new stereo so I frequently check for codes and all was good just like 2 days previous to that night)
    I bought a head gasket test to figure out if the car has any combustion gas into the coolant, the one that turn yellow if you have the blown gasket. The results were negative not yellow color, always blue and I did it like 5 times on different circumstances to make sure.
    I don't know if you feel the same way but owning a Jaguar is something different, is not like any other vehicle because you treat it just like a family and even the people ask me about the car just like if they were asking about a family member.
    At this time I can't afford the repair, I want to use this product on it and I would like to know if this doesn't work, the head gasket repair could still be performed or its not possible after having this in the engine?
    I'm sorry for this long comment, but I wanted to be as explicitly as possible. Thanks again.

    • @oxmanagain
      @oxmanagain  2 роки тому +1

      First off, thanks for watching and I appreciate all the love you have for your vehicle. What you did to your car is very impressive.
      If you used a blown head gasket test kit and it came back negative then you have nothing to worry about in that regard. If your check engine light came on and indicated that you have something wrong with a specific cylinder then most likely that's your only issue. What I would do is put one of those poor in injector cleaners in and see if the car improves or rides any better. If it does you know that your injector or the cylinder was just dirty or clogged. Then what I would do is change that particular cylinder spark plug and or ignition coil.

      @@oxmanagain Thanks a lot for your reply and I'm sorry for my late response. I'll do that during this week and for sure I'll let you know. But yesterday I was working on the car, I noticed the upper and lower radiator hoses were collapsed when the engine is Cold (overnight for example) but they looks totally rounded when the engine is on. There should be some leak but I didn't see any signs of it under the car or around the hoses. But I also could hear some kind of unusual clicking noise coming from the thermostat/water pump area. I was thinking of replacing both of them because that could be a possibility I found a very good price for both of them.
      Again, thanks for your help. I'll keep you posted.

    My mechanic says I have a leaking head gasket- my Crown Vic leaks oil which then burns on the heat of the engine causing smoke, but not coolant and the coolant and oil don’t mix. Other than that the car runs great. I’m not sure if this would help me or not since it goes in the coolant rather than the oil. What do you think?

    I have a quick question, I put this product in about 4 days ago, would it be wise for me to drain it out now because I'm assuming it's already did its job so there are no reason for it to stay in the radiator should I drain it out and just put regular coolant

    • @oxmanagain
      @oxmanagain  5 місяців тому

      It depends on which one you poured in. If you pour in the one that I used in the video, the instructions say you never have to drain it. I would read the instructions on your box and follow what they say. By the way how did it

      @@oxmanagain it was only a week ago the check engine light kept coming on, symptoms I've had are losing coolant without seeing obvious leaks and rough startup which only started 1 week ago and a few bubble in reservoir tank. But no milky residue in oil and car runs fine and feels smooth overall. I may have triggered something when the car overheated also last week due to a big leak in a coolant hose which I've replaced, during that time the car never touched red mark but maybe was at 70-80% on the temp gauge. Mechanic diagnosed engine light as cylinder 1 misfire which I think is what I felt during rough startup
