Another great perk of staying at a property with the walking path/water taxi is the seperate security line. Skipping the central hub saves a lot of time. Great video, stay safe in the storm!

I’m so looking forward to this series! We’ve stayed at three of the eight hotels, Royal Pacific being the first. Every hotel had it’s benefits but I have to say that Cabana Bay is my favorite just for the fun vibes, and I really do love Surfside; it seems smaller and more quiet. Thank you so much, Tyler, for all the hard work you put into your vlogs but also, even more so, the laughs. 😊

Royal Pacific was my first onsite hold a special place in my heart.
Always will!
We routinely pack an ice chest with water bottles and favorite sodas to hotel rooms. That way we have them at no extra cost whenever we want without a machine. Almost anywhere has an ice machine, and if the room includes a free mini fridge that's perfect. We'll usually toss some bagels in as well, for a rushed breakfast or a late night meal, because not everywhere will bring you a shrimp cocktail at dear-Lord-O-thirty.

I hope Milton doesn't harm you and yours! About RPR, we always stay there. We're up to 154 nights since 2005. We've visited all the hotels, but really like the Bula Bar (poolside) at RPR, so we keep returning. We've paid as little as $182 and as much as $800 per night. We're annual passholders (because of your expert guidance!). Keep it coming, bro.....luv you, luv your show!

"A dinosaur," "that sounds special," & "8 if by land, 4 if by sea." 🤣🤣 I NEVER would have guessed it was ordering a shrimp cocktail that got Tyler to set his alarm that early, lol. Definitely get 2 queen beds. I just did that last week for a concert. But you gotta pull back the covers before you put your bags on it. I love that Tyler didn't change out of his crocs, lol. The sushi at Royal Pacific is outstanding. Jake's is good too. Fun video. Royal Pacific is my favorite Universal hotel so far. Looking forward to the videos for the rest of the hotels, tho.
The beds were amazingly comfortable at Royal Pacific. Also the pool had extra-large towels ("bath sheets" I think they're called), which was very luxurious. 😎

Hands down my favorite UO resort, especially if we are going to HHN or OI Meetup. We want to sleep late or nap midday when we do late night events, and RPR is the best for quiet rooms, peaceful ambiance, and late night sushi. It's such a short walk to the parks, and cuts out the chaos of the security hub. Always enjoy your videos. Thank you!

Haha they are super worth it!
I was at Portofino last year and man, that unlimited express was invaluable. It was definitely a pricier option, but for what you get it's worth it.
Look in advance on days u can get this hotel starting at $242 a night that’s what I always do I have even got the hard rock for $288 a night just look in advance

Great vid Tyler! We love Royal Pacific and is the only place we stay going back since it opened. Nothing is better than late night sushi at Orchid after a day at the parks.

The weird mirror is a makeup mirror that probably has magnification built into it. It's typically used to help with putting on makeup.

Also for some contact lens wearers or perpetual pluckers it’s an essential light up mirror!

! Love that ypu did RP first. It will always have a spot in my heart as our 1st universal hotel. HIGHLY recommend the luau. They do activities before it starts, included unlimited drinks, food was delicious and unique to the theme, and the performers was fantastic. It being at RP is part of why we stayed there.
We didn't notice the lack of vending machines because we booked really early and actually got a club level room for about the price for the room you had with included food and drinks. That pie looked so good bur I'm sad they took the key lime pie off the menu it was DELICIOUS AND so big we couldn't close the to go container 😜 Our only "complaints" were the hot tubs are so hidden we didn't find them until checkout day and it wasn't communicated to us that if theu are using the convention/meeting rooms the bus for cabana Bay picks you up out front vs back there

Stayed there a few years back for just 1 night to get a taster for it but didnt see half of the hotel and facilities really. . Staying for 8 nights next October for HHN. Can't wait. Love the Universal hotels. Sapphire Falls is where we stayed for our last trip and thought that was excellent aswell. Keep the vlogs coming!
I loved the video, informative and entertaining! looking forward to the rest in the series. We've stayed at all of the hotels except Sapphire Falls, and RP is easily our favorite. It is so comfortable and relaxing (plus the smell!) and it is the closest hotel to the best park: IoA. The 2-day Express Passes at the premier hotels makes the higher costs totally worthwhile. We come down from Georgia for short trips to the parks and will stay at one of the premier hotels for one night and bookend our trip with cheaper on-site hotels or one of the close-by off-site hotels (Holiday Inn). I hope they never change the premier hotel express pass perk!

Yes! Royal Pacific is our favorite universal hotel. We have a night booked in Dec and another in Jan. We have a almost 4 year old.... the express pass for 2 days.. and walking to the park seals the deal for us. When we cant afford premier we like Dockside the best.
I believe pink ginger is pickled! Fresh ginger is kind of a yellow to orangey light brown

So glad to see this! I have stayed at most of the hotels on property. It's so odd how the quality of beds, pillows and AC can be when they're all owed by the same company. Maybe do the Endless Summer hotels as a "baseline" compared to the Premier hotels.

Its so funny that you walk around holding the lav mic like that. You should get a stuffed toy to put over it as a windscreen. Something to change it out from time to time!
For me, a 3am must-have is a cheeseburger. Extra points if I can get a vanilla milkshake too. Oh, and the room must have fridge - a mini fridge is fine - a coffee maker and a microwave. Keep posting these great reviews! 👍

It is a beautiful hotel. We stayed there in 2022. Of the premier resorts, it’s our third favorite due to proximity and convenience to the parks as well as food options. This is the most beautiful of the three IMO.
We stayed at the Royal Pacific back in 2021. I loved it but this time On October 21-24, I’m going to give Sapphire Falls a chance. 🎉

We stayed at Royal Pacific on our last trip to the parks. Such a nostalgic feeling seeing the room again
My family of six (all adults) squeezed into one small bedroom there with 2 queen beds for those front of the line passes 😂 we saved money, but the true cost was our sleep while my dad snored through the night haha always love watching your channel!
Stayed twice at the hotel. Liked/loved a lot of it is recommended when someone wants express passes and wants to stay at Universal. The Luau was actually very good and I do recommend going to it. Was a bit cheesy but fun!
Though the last time I was there stuck in a hurricane. I don't ever want to do that again.

I stayed there in February and man the giant cheese pretzel was my favorite snack . The sushi bar was delicious. I absolutely loved my stay and I want to go back the parks felt like home.

we've finally stayed at all the resorts, and RP is my fav (HR a close 2nd). It's so beautiful. The beds, boat, dedicated security, Express Pass, and food are awesome. I just don't like that the coffee pot is in a weird pull out tray

We stayed at Royal last April for a week and loved it! The free express passes are the way to go as it maximized our time at the parks. We are already planning on going back next year. The beds are so comfortable that we bought a Sterns and Foster mattress when we returned to Austin. The burgers at Jake's are very good also!
I like a second bed for the same reason!
