Absolutely man. 8 years sober for me. Watching Scott knowing there’s a way out of this sadness, is hard. Same with watching interviews of the late Shane macgowan. I see friends I went to high school with out in the streets it’s a real heartbreaker addiction. Their legend will live on.
He'll always be the best rock 'n' roll frontman of all-time to me. The peak is over and the decline is now, but no one will be on top forever. We've all got a shelf life.
I honestly wish I could go back in time and just be his friend no rock n roll bs! Just be his buddy to fish and help him see his kids and have him be happy
What dope would make you NOT blink? I mean when I do stimulants my pupils are as big as saucers and the opiates make em pin dot. I know he usta do a shotta smack and then smoke sum crack. He was bi-polar too and when u smoke crack it causes auditory hallucinations so he's dealing with voices in his head and it's hard to hold a conversation, especially with any emotion.i hope he got right with the man upstairs and we get to hang out again.R.I.P. Scott
Poor scott. He looks pretty out of it. I'm so sad he has now passed away. I would speculate the state he is in is down to a combination of powerful prescription anti - bipolar drugs and alcohol. Not necessarily anything illegal... although it makes me wonder how on earth he managed to put on a show at all... he's on some serious prescription meds... There the ones that kill more people then illegal drugs... RIP scott one hell of a front man xxx
This is 100% Geodon. The worst medication given to people like myself who have bi-polar. I was put on this recently and was just like this. The stuff makes you feel very heavy it is even hard to breathe at times...it would take all my energy just to chew my food. His autopsy showed he was prescribed this so that would explain his dead demeanor.
Watching Scott last interviews remind me of Layne Staley interviews around 1995-96. They both look older, tired and the speech comes out without emotion. Sad to see my idols disappearing due to their choices, but i also believe they are in a better place now.
@@daveyboy8907 They found cocaine in his room after his death and I believe it was in his system along with alcohol and a variant of ecstasy called MDA.

The DeLeo brothers said the exact same thing in an interview some time after Scott died...that in his last years he became surrounded by sycophants feeding him all that he was, only caring about making some $$$ off him. Sad.
Velvet Revolver guys had been helping him and bailing out of jail but he seems like he's not interested to help himself. I really was expecting to see Scott Wieland to be with Velvet Revolver
I understand that there’s not much that can take your soul much like heroin addiction I was just lucky enough to make it out alive. I’ll always be a huge fan regardless of if the show was good or not as good. RIP Scott

Also, after watching STP with Chester, I really wish they could makeup...Scott still has the voice, if only he could just stay straight long enough to do a tour or two(or a night or two for that matter)
I worry about Scott. It's has been a painful and disappointing ride. Can't believe I named my only child after him. At one time I considered him the greatest rocker of my lifetime.
Mark, Your child will have the perfect example of what not to do, look this in a positive way. Scott was one of the greatest rockers in our lifetime, don't you ever forget that. But he is not the only one with a tragic life. There are countless rock stars with issues, I really hope he takes some time off to focus, clean up, put himself together and have a big comeback.
