On one hand I want you to succeed so there will be more medieval remixes in the world, on the other hand I want you to remain unknown so I can blow the mind of my DnD players with these underrated treasures.
I mixed this with some bar abidance and played this quietly in the background during a DnD campaign whenever my players entered a tavern, it took them roughly ten sessions and three taverns to notice the "relaxing down time track" was All Star, they still haven't forgiven me.
@makutamaster Like there is absolutely nothing that tells us when is Shrek taking place but somehow you know that that's 16th century. How do you know it ?
These songs have a weird effect that makes my brain go back to a time that i haven’t even experienced before. I just know this is what medieval songs would sound like. Which is enough of for me to escape my current bounds of reality and plunge deep within my imaginations,
The feeling I've had is that so many instrumentalists are going, "where's my harp/lute/leather drums and so on." UA-cam recommendations have really made me more culturally appreciative. I'm south-east asian and have gone on a nordic, pagan-germanic, hindu-meditative, Mongolian throat-singing, medieval genre blender for the past 2 months now.
Only the "bass" sounds kinda too modern to be full on medieval, other than that I love it and I hope there's more Medieval versions of popular songs they're amazing
I can imagine this played and sung in medieval times about Shrek. Being such a hit for not just kids, but all ages, raising the eyebrows of every iconic fairy-tale writer from yesteryear and having a hearty good laugh about it.
I gotta say I'm adding just about every song you make that would fit into Oblivion or Skyrim and it just works f***ing beautifully. Really, you can hear the artistic talent and love of music, well f***ing done.
