Girl, I just had to come thank you for this video. After all the tutorials I've watched on here on how to do these things it just wouldn't work, but somehow your video was the one that made it work for me. I got it down!!! Did my entire head! Lol, thank you!!! You look great by the way.
This looks soooooo simple i need to try it :) and i had to laugh so hard when you said that a twist fell into the toilet LMAO. Love this style on you. xoxo
That's it I'm taking a day to do these on myself!! Ever since I saw Tia Mowry with them in I tried to find someone that would do them but I think I can handle it myself. Your hair looks so good! Love your videos!
She talked way too much.... The tutorial was only 2minutes long and she talked for 10 minutes before the tutorial even started... Next time you should put clips of the tutorial in while you're talking. so we can see exactly what you're doing and why its important for you to talk about...
+Akilah wilson RIGHT!!! I couldn't even finish watching...I skipped to the end because she was talking sooo much. There's nothing wrong with talking video's...but just don't call it a tutorial if there is bare talking and just a little snippet of a tutorial.
The steaming is not the problem for the hair not staying. In order for them to remain braided you have to tease the hair or pull at the ends of the strands so that they have uneven lengths, that's what give it a tapered natural look as opposed to a blunt look like what you have.
I use the same brand of hair! It does come in other colors tho. I have red hair and I found a red that matched my red perfectly. But it's only the basic colors like red, black, and a few Browns. And it also does steam at the ends. It takes a while but it actually does steam. I've used this hair twice and the water has to be damn near scolding and you have to dip the ends for a couple minutes.
I use rubber bands as well. Steaming seemed like too much work. But, I have the same problem you did when you had them and they were too long. My hair is to my butt. So I have to twist an inch or two past that to make ensure my ends are protected. Therefore, I've never lasted more than a week with them in my head. I'm so jealous 'cause I need a protective style other than wearing two braids/twists.
dang i thought i was gonna see a tutorial on how to do twist not you talking your head off i had to skip all the way to the end to find out only 10 % of this video was really a tutorial
If you stretch the hair (there are tutorials on how to) while prepping it, you won't have to use the rubber band. You just dip them in hot water and they stay! (: I have tutorials on my page on these twists as well. -xo
Name twin❗️lol but I love your channel and your personality. Your one of my role models , cause i today's generation, me growing up , I rarely have people to look up too .
I have a similar hair texture. It's really soft and curly. Should I use Marley hair or kanekalon when it comes to blending and making sure the twists dont slip out???
Jahvon Pierre Kanekalon! My hair is very similar textured to hers, and I had a stylist do mine with Marley hair, and they slid right out. Kanekalon would be your best bet! :)
I did my hair the same week you did yours and it came out great but it only lasted a week for me. My natural hair started to fizz up and come out too much and I got tired of redoing them over every other day so I took them out. I'll probably try it again soon since I have some packs of hair left.
Can you do a comparison between the Creme of Nature Perfect Edges and the design essentials sleek edge control which you used this time and did you experience slipping out from your twist ? Love twists on you !
Love it! How are you washing your hair? I'm just worried that massaging my head in the shower would disturb the twists and cause me to need to re-do them each time
I love it, I've done this to my hair with out the fake hair and looks awesome but I really do want more length so I'm definitely going to buy that hair and try it again I'll post on IG and tag you Thank!!!
I know this is really random request but could you count how many twists you actually have on your head and let me know so I could estimated how much I have to do on my head lol
Thank you so much for this video you did a great job I plan on doing this hair style been looking for the perfect video and I found it and you look great :-)
If you squirt a little baby oil in the water while it's boiling and dip your ends in, they'll stay. No need for rubber bands at all. I learned this years ago and still do it now.
sitting here been struggling trying to get a hang of it watching UA-cam tutorials. I watch your video, go with it and here i am left with a perfect twist wondering how i did it. 🙄
About how many twist would you say you have in there? And about how long did it take? Hopefully I didn't miss it. And do you wear it in any other styles or just down? Thanks
im really just thinking about cutting my hair. my hair is past my butt so i cant use fake hair with it which would keep my hair up longer without it getting frizzy. i really want Senegalese twists!
+MonayyAshley extremely rude. black people are the first to rant and rave about white people doing this and that, and here you have a white woman or whatever she is complimenting our natural hair styles and embracing it..telling us it's pretty and actually interested in trying it herself and here you come being a jerk. As a black woman myself I'm sick of the negative attitudes and rude comments that black women have. Get over yourself. How about a simple "thanks! black hair is beautiful! Try it :)"
Lauren Watkins i literally said one word? lol. believe it or not its not for her hair type. its a protective style which i'm sure you know. white people will be the first to take from black culture and call it theirs (im not saying thats what she intends to do) but if its not their culture why would they participate in it? there's a difference between appropriation and appreciation. it disrespectful for her to do this to her hair, thats all it is.
MonayyAshley Lmfaoooooooooooo it’s a hairstyle. Anyone can do it -__- it’s like saying a black women shouldn’t straighten her hair. Tf. Anyone can do whatever they want with their hair. Sheesh.
Girl, I just had to come thank you for this video. After all the tutorials I've watched on here on how to do these things it just wouldn't work, but somehow your video was the one that made it work for me. I got it down!!! Did my entire head! Lol, thank you!!! You look great by the way.

That's it I'm taking a day to do these on myself!! Ever since I saw Tia Mowry with them in I tried to find someone that would do them but I think I can handle it myself. Your hair looks so good! Love your videos!
I am so happy you did this tutorial. I know there are many, but yours looked so amazing!
It sounds like it's saying die in the background music

I enjoyed her talking, thanks. Remember- don't be a snaloogi.
Wasn't she explaining what was going to happen in the video?
The steaming is not the problem for the hair not staying. In order for them to remain braided you have to tease the hair or pull at the ends of the strands so that they have uneven lengths, that's what give it a tapered natural look as opposed to a blunt look like what you have.
I love both ...... They both look amazing

Amazing video !! Really helpful and help me save money . Love from England
Can you put what kind of hair you use in the actual notes
Name twin❗️lol but I love your channel and your personality. Your one of my role models , cause i today's generation, me growing up , I rarely have people to look up too .
Please do a product recommendation video for curly hair !!
You did a good job for your first time 👏👏💕
I did my hair the same week you did yours and it came out great but it only lasted a week for me. My natural hair started to fizz up and come out too much and I got tired of redoing them over every other day so I took them out. I'll probably try it again soon since I have some packs of hair left.
Try using a gel of some sort to help your hair stay in place. Apply it on each twist.
My curls are super tight and defined. I'll probably have to straighten or blow dry my hair a little next time.
omg that Janet Jackson beat is amazing!!
but anyways, you're gorgeous hunny💕💕
MAN that caridee commercial is gettin on my LAST!
she looks like shes trying so hard uugh
-by the way love the hair!
Love that necklace!! Great tutorial!
Lovvvee this style on you btw. You're gorgeous!
I really want to try this. My hair is so fine I've never been able to add hair to my braids or twists. I hope this helps the hair not slip.
Skip to 8:25 of you want the Tutorial
Soooo beautiful! Definitely trying this!!
Can you do a comparison between the Creme of Nature Perfect Edges and the design essentials sleek edge control which you used this time and did you experience slipping out from your twist ? Love twists on you !
not sure if someone said this yet, but you can seal the ends by hitting them with a flat iron :)!
tatum hundley a lot of people don't do that because it gives off an ugly and burned look💯✋
Great tutorial! You made it look easy and I'm thinking about trying it but how hard is it to do the back? Any tips?
You're supposed to use beeswax or Murphy's pomade when twisting. It helps it hold together and looks much better
Love it! How are you washing your hair? I'm just worried that massaging my head in the shower would disturb the twists and cause me to need to re-do them each time
Even when the tutorial lasted only 2 minutes approximately, the rest was still useful for me. So...thank you! :)
I tried this tutorial and it worked, thanks. I have similar texture to yours, did you wash your hair while it was in the twists?
Hella bad! And love how natural the hair looks😝
You did such a great job! I'm inspired!
Yay so glad u posted this!
How long did it take you to do your hair. It looks good.
Great video. If you don't mind me asking, what type of lashes are you wearing?
Love ur twist I need some
how many bundles did you use and how long did it take you?
I love your hair it's beautiful. How did you part your hair to make you look like you have a full head? is there a certain way you suppose to part it?
I love your twist
How did you twist the back? I've tried thus but can't twist the back of my head.
Thank you for this tutorial! I love the twists. did your hair feel tugged on at all while wearing your hair in this style?
The boiling water probably didn't work becuz you didn't feather the ends enough it looks the same length all the way down and they unravel that way.
Yea, that's what I was thinking because it's super bulky from beginning to end which didn't look right.
How do you feather the ends?
Thank you so much for this video you did a great job I plan on doing this hair style been looking for the perfect video and I found it and you look great :-)
Omgmyour necklace. From where please??? And how many packs did you use? Thank you :)
If you squirt a little baby oil in the water while it's boiling and dip your ends in, they'll stay. No need for rubber bands at all. I learned this years ago and still do it now.
ok, im definitely trying this, you made it seem so easy though!!! lol
Actual tutorial starts at 10:04.
How many pieces of hair did you use per twist?
a trick i do to reduce the frizz i take a lighter and run it up and down the to seal it off ... but on the fake hair tho... beautiful look love :*
Next time get kanakelon hair it comes in variety of colors it should have vivica fox on it. I hope I'm spelling it right
sitting here been struggling trying to get a hang of it watching UA-cam tutorials. I watch your video, go with it and here i am left with a perfect twist wondering how i did it. 🙄
Hi, The hair that was used in your head last time was the hair your sister brought to me. Not the hair I typically use.
About how many twist would you say you have in there? And about how long did it take? Hopefully I didn't miss it. And do you wear it in any other styles or just down? Thanks

Beautiful
You Look so different from two years ago I didn’t even notice that as you !!
That was very helpful. I'm about to hook my hair up big time. ;-) Thanks. BTW, youre very beautiful.
im really just thinking about cutting my hair. my hair is past my butt so i cant use fake hair with it which would keep my hair up longer without it getting frizzy. i really want Senegalese twists!
My hair is pin straight.. I wonder if this could work on my hair type. It's very pretty would like to do it on my hair :3
Don't
+MonayyAshley 😂💯
+MonayyAshley extremely rude. black people are the first to rant and rave about white people doing this and that, and here you have a white woman or whatever she is complimenting our natural hair styles and embracing it..telling us it's pretty and actually interested in trying it herself and here you come being a jerk. When you got them done the first time did any of the twist slip out ?
Hi can you tell me if you have more hair loss when you removed the twists?
Very nice girl!!
yours didn't slip out? i was literally trying to do this all week with kanekalon hair and was so frustrated bc it wouldnt stop slipping!
Can these twists be washed like box braids?
Yes.
lindaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!
amei, ficou muito muito bonito!
quero o meu cabelo lindo assim :)
Super cute! Instead of rubber bands why don't you try to use a lighter and slightly burn the ends of the hair to keep them in place.
When you took those twists out did you lose a lot of hair ?
Does chunky senegalese twist take longer to do than box braids?
What oil mixture do you oil your scalp with every night?
wow very easy thank u
Where did you get/buy the chain/necklace from?
how long do these last and how long did it take you to install?
how do you wrap these at night to keep them fresh?
What else can I use besides that exact brand of twirling custard? I can't find it anywhere. :(
Is It Basically The Same Thing As Marley Twists, Just A Different Name?
Can you tell me, how many packs did you use?
Did you prep your hair the same way as the last time you wore Senegalese twists?
