High Tech 40 breeder Aquascape/Set up

Hey long time no see.
On September 14th I finally got around to rescaping my 40 gallon breeder. in this video I take you through the whole process of adding the hardscape and plants as well as show you how far the tank has progressed. It has now been about a month and a half and I'm really happy with the tank. As always I hope you enjoyed the video and thank you for watching!

Beautiful..I have a new tank and the algae growing on the plants drives me crazy. On one hand, you want to keep the light down to a minimum but the plants needs light to grow..

Its a confusing balance if lights not fixing the problem it could also be too much or even too little nutrients causing the problem

What length t5ho fixture are you using? Tank looks great.

The tank is 36 inches long but I could only find 48 inch long fixtures so thats what im using haha

On this one i have 4 t5 hos on it with 2 white bulbs and 2 pink bulbs

Plants are very healthy! You always going to get algae on the glass, just keep your front glass cleaned and your good. I rather algae on my glass then on my plants.

@@manga669 oh ok didnt see the last part. They arent leds they are t5s which are basically the long tubes you may see in most stores. They ho stands for high output which is better for plants. I used saba wood and seiryu stone to create the hardscape. The wood is covered in bucephalandra as well as needle leaf java fern. I also used ludwigia palustris, crypt wendtii green gecko, crypt undulata red, myriophyllum guyana, rotala vietnam hra, anubias nana petite and staurogyne repens
