I built a quad motor, 20hp downhill MTB Ebike with crazy power!

I forgot to mention in the video, top speed is about 80km/hr and range is about 30km.

I'm guessing you synced them up with a CAN bus? Does the VESC Tool show four devices or two?

Provided all 4 ESCs are on the same firmware, motor calibration calibrates all four motors simultaneously over CANBus

I plugged the throttle into the TFT display which was plugged into one of the CANBus ports and it ran all four motors at once.

I'm not the OP but I think it's just the size and ability to place the motors more discreetly. With these small motors he's wrapped them around the frame instead of having a giant 20kw motor sticking out. It's the only advantage I can think of.
