Rich Paul is using the Raptors #31 draft pick as leverage to other teams. It could pay off for Toronto if another team offers the Raps a mind blowing deal for #31. No way Bronny is a first round pick unless LBJ is going to that team on a vet minimum deal which I don't think will happen. Most likely Lakers draft Bronny at #55 or they may trade up in the 2nd round and draft him. Bronny being drafted is more about adding to LBJ's legacy than Bronny's actual talent level. Raps just lost a player due to health issues in Koloko... no way they select Bronny at #31, especially with the players that will still be available at #31.

It may be a ploy to have others believe that Toronto wants Bronny, but the reality is that Toronto may want another team who does want him so that that team selects him while Toronto selects someone else or gets to trade up for that opportunity to have Bronny.
