On a 2024 Lariat F-350 7.3L 4.30 4x4 the TPMS and tire size correction worked as advertised with the exception that it did not show a TCM to relearn. It did have the PCM & AWD relearn. Wrench went away and the speedometer was right on at 2770 with 37x12.50x20 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT's. However it would not clear the DTC, no wrench or alarm but it was there. The largest number I could enter was 2699 with no DTC. It looks like it will be off 2mph at 60 which is fine with new tires. Probably could change rear axle to adjust but did not. Forscan Version 2.3.58 was great at letting me know when it wanted accessories on or off. Thank you for the excellent video.
This is literally my exact truck (2024 Lariat F350 7.3 4.30 4x4). Good choice! 😅 So, your comment is extremely helpful. I doubt I will go over 35 inch tires though. How do I Know what number to use for that size (as opposed to your 2790 for your 37's)?
@@SliderFury1 The value should be the tire circumference in mm however there is some variability in that because my 36.69" would need a value of 2921 which is over the 2799 value that @rockyrohde said is the max that can be entered with throwing a code. My factory value was 2631. Doing some math between real values my 34.1" factory tire (2631) and the 36.69" (2770) values I would say your 35" which is probably around 34.5 I would guess the value at 2690-2700. None of the math is exact but I think that would be a good starting point. Thank you very much for the great video! I followed the same steps with my 2024 Ranger, as I installed smaller tires. I can clear all the errors except for PCM P2101 and OBDII P2101. Nothing seems to work. These errors only disappear when I re-enter the standard value of 2406 in the bdyCM. I’m at a loss because with the new tires, when the speedometer shows 60 km/h, the GPS reads 55 km/h. I was extremely meticulous in my approach. Changed the value in bdyCM. Write. PCM module reconfiguration. TCM module reconfig. AWD module reconfig. I changed the value from 2406 to 2306. After that, 60 km/h on the speedometer corresponded to 59 km/h on GPS. Cool! But the error was still there!
Try moving that 2306 to 2300 sometimes can be an integer off or creates to many decimals on different numbers in the program.. Also try 2340 you might be below minimum threshold
You are fantastic! I tried it with 2300, and it worked perfectly on the first attempt. I just went for a ride, and at 65 km/h on the speedometer, it’s 64 km/h according to GPS. Really, really great. Thank you so much for that!

A dealer could void warranty over 37” tires if they wanted to.. It’s all a risk you take.. I have yet to know any techs at ford that go into module programming.. They usually enter the vin and it reprograms module back to as built..

450 might be slightly different due to gear ratio. I would try bumping that number down a bit and trying again. Some have had luck adjusting the axle ratio down to get it correct. I have not tried that. If you have the 4.10 axle it is probably maxing the multiplier..
I am changing pressure and diameter of tires. Thanks. Ever equip a ford that didn't have the b pillar keypad with one? I am wondering how to do that with forescan. I have already installed the keypad, just need the bcm PCM to recognize it.
just purchased a 23 f250 with a 6.7 never have used forscan before will this void warranty ? probably most of the settings that will be messing with will be tpms pressure and tire size, are these married to the vehicle like programer ?or can they be used on multiple vehicle's, I also own an f 150.
Most dealers don’t have access or ability to access specific programming. They generally flash replacement modules by vin. Generally tpms and Speedo correction should not be a warranty issue.. Dealers could void your warranty for oversized tires if they want to..
Thanks Rocky. Don’t you actually have to change and rewrite what the specific new tire size is also in addition to rewriting what the new tire circumference is?

My question is do I have to swap the pins out on 18 and 19 on both sides? I said it all up correctly, but they’re not folding when I close and they’re not opening when I press open? Any help would greatly be appreciated.. nobody on any of the Facebook forms can tell me or state whether it’s both windows that I need to switch the pins on or just the driver side. I know I got all the right numbers. Since I have a 4 button fob, I used the FC instead of F.
Great content. I have 24 F350 3.31 axel and tried all combinations. I can get the wrench to disappear but I am stll stuck with the TCM code followed by the PCM/AWD after driving. Setting back to stock and taking a drive will get rid of the CELL. Can't seem to find the right combination. Anyone have any luck dialing in 37's with a 3.31 axel ratio?
I’m having the exact same issue. I believe with the 331 ratio it’s out of fords range for the tire size and speed calibration, I was able to get mine to program at 2650 tire size. It’s about 3mph off at 80 with a 37inch Toyo
@@RockyRohde Didn't work for my 2023 dually with 4:10's and 37's without keeping an active code. (See my original comment to this video). How does 2799 mm make a truck with 37's have an accurate speedometer anyway when that circumference (2799) is much closer to a 35" tire (a 37" tire would be closer to 2900 +/- depending on mfg)? My original number is 2429 because the dually comes with silly little tires (~31"). Have you tried changing the axle ratio in Forscan to adjust the speedometer? Would this throw other things off?

My 2024 Superduty King Ranch dually holds historic P0160A code in PCM. After multiple relearns. Zoodad on Ford Trucks forum states Superdutys will hold P0160A code historic. My truck threw a P0771 code whilst hauling a 5th wheel with less than 1k miles cleared code trans functions as normal. Truck has been to Ford and dealer claims TCM is the issue not the circumference change and wants to replace TCM module. Tried multiple relearns and returned to stock value also. This not my first time using Forscan done it on multiple trucks mine and others without issue. Any other suggestions or tips?
@@RockyRohde no, wrench light goes after relearns on PCM, TCM & AWD modules. P160A code is being held historically in the TCM. Relearns multiple times, driven truck and retried. Unsure if the historic code caused the P0771 last week. Ford claims its a TCM issue and I told the tech I changed tire circumference and he seemed ok with it saying it was not the problem?? @RockyRohde Great information and instruction. 2 questions. Does the TPMS change work for the 24's? How long is it typically before forscan updates for a new model year to do the tire diameter?

Tried 2790 and 2699 too - same results. Set it back to stock (2429mm for my truck - stock dually tires are only about 31") and was able to clear the code without it coming back. I didn't try 800 random numbers in between because even IF 2699 would have worked, the speedometer would have still been way off. IF we were to change the axle ratio, would other stuff have to be changed too, or just re-learn everything same as when changing tire circumference? It looks like you can pick any number for the axle ratio, so if it's using it for speed calculation, I can figure out the math, just don't want to throw something else off.
And it threw all kinds of wrenches when I tried that was a mess I had to just clear the cachet and go back to the original 2689 in the tire there’s something else that has to work

Does this work for the 17-19s? I use the measurement 2791 and i get a check engine light code is p1635
DTC not showing up on newest version of forscan for f250 6.7 any ideas?
What would you input f450 with 35 inch tires
Do you have any videos where you program a 2017 through 2019 super duty auto fold mirrors, I’m trying to figure out how to do it on my 2019 before I trade it in just to practice? My question is do I have to swap the pins out on 18 and 19 on both sides? I said it all up correctly, but they’re not folding when I close and they’re not opening when I press open? Any help would greatly be appreciated.. nobody on any of the Facebook forms can tell me or state whether it’s both windows that I need to switch the pins on or just the driver side. I know I got all the right numbers. Since I have a 4 button fob, I used the FC instead of F.
Yes, has to be both sides for it to work. I personally did this on my 19 and can verify it needs to be both.
Same boat. Original setting was 2631. Tried 2799 as suggested but got check engine.
For 22 Explorer St is it going to be the same procedure ?
What number do you use for 35 KO3's
Measure the actual height and google circumference calc…
I tried programming my truck to your instructions but upon connecting, I don't see a lot of options. I don't even see an option for BCM
Does anyone know if this is possible with a 2020 that is D&T? As far as doing the PCM and TCM relearn.
What if you can’t see the AWD module? This is a 23 tremor.
ForScan says it dosnt currently support MY2024 ... any idea ?
Have to update to most recent version
I have a 2020 F350 dually with 37s will this work?
It should
@@RockyRohde Didn't work for my 2023 dually with 4:10's and 37's without keeping an active code.
Rocky this was a well done video. I have a 2023 F550 dually with a super single conversion on it. The a stabilitrac/hill assit deactivaited message comes on. The truck has 40's on it. Have you run into this before? Overland trucks have these tires on it. I have not been able to get anyone of the up fitters to help me with this issue. Side note: It has a Hypertec programmer installed
Very helpful and detailed, however on my 2024 F250 HO6.7 I still received the "check engine" light when completed. I reverted to original and back to normal. Would really love to get my speedometer to be correct for my 37" tires. I see others with 2024 had success, so not sure what my issue would be. Frustrating, and nerve racking. For another day ...
@RockyRohde I ran the sequence again with the 2799 value and no check engine or gear, however I now have a TCM P160A:00-2F error as follows:

@ride-n-reel you can try to relearn the TCM module again. Some of the trucks will hold that module code but have no light and speedometer is corrected..
@@RockyRohde Will do. I appreciate the feedback. I know you are not "official support" but do appreciate it!
@@RockyRohde I attempted the relearn 3x, but no change. So I decided to attempt to change the value to 2770 (a value someone else suggested), but same result. Then I put the value back to the original 2631 and viola, no P160A code. Sure which I understood the math to figure this out, but it's not thrilled with any other value yet.
@@RockyRohde I went ahead and dropped back in the 2799. The P160A returned however no lights so I decided to run it. I read in a forum where ZooDad said that this is common and after a few cycles that error should go away. I’ll try to keep you posted next time I hook up the machine. I appreciate you getting me this far, it has definitely got my speedometer dialed in!
Will the speed change work on a 2020 6.7?
What if Ive got a 2023 next gen ranger variant with a manual transmission, will I only need to relearn the pcm and tcm skipping the AWD? TIA
i have the ex but i cant get it to work at all
My 2024 Superduty King Ranch dually holds historic P0160A code in PCM.
So no answer on the P160A being held historically in the TCM module after a tire circumference change in 2024 trucks?
@glennmurray4034 is the light or wrench on?
@@RockyRohde no, wrench light goes after relearns on PCM, TCM & AWD modules. P160A code is being held historically in the TCM. Relearns multiple times, driven truck and retried. Unsure if the historic code caused the P0771 last week. Ford claims its a TCM issue and I told the tech I changed tire circumference and he seemed ok with it saying it was not the problem?? Seemed to be getting mixed answers on the P0160A code some say it will stay historically and others say it will clear with relearns, my 22 cleared after relearn this new 24 will not clear??
@glennmurray4034 My limited held the code internally but was never a issue.. If it has no lights drive it..
Can you use a Google chromebook with forscan
I think so
How can I get in touch with you? Thanks
I have a 2022 SD F350 Platinum. Would I do this same process minus the AWD module?
Would also like to know this.
Does using Forscan void warranty?
Does anyone know if the 2024 f450 king ranch DRW, has tpms? If not can it be added or turned on in forscan?
Do you only work on 24V truck?
Were you located? I think I've seen your truck in Fort Worth
I’m getting a P0610 issue now. Can’t get it to go away. Went back to stock size and no luck. Check engine light is on.
Any resolution to this I have same issue
@@Sbbrophy I restored my factory bcm file and it finally went away.
Any idea if this will work on the 24s? Should, but never know if ford has changed something.
Not on 24’s yet.. still waiting on update
@RockyRohde Great information and instruction. 2 questions. Does the TPMS change work for the 24's? How long is it typically before forscan updates for a new model year to do the tire diameter?
@GH-qe9uo Headed home now to try update.. I will know in about 30 mins. Forscan just updated for Jan 2
New version works on 24
@@RockyRohde Thank you. Didn't really expect an answer with in an hour but certainly appreciate it.
My speedometer is about 4 mph faster than 2 different GPS units. How can I get this accurate?
I did all the steps and the wrench went away but I still have the p160a code
If the lights are off drive it…
will this work for 2017 f350 superduty
Yes it should
Rocky, I watch several of your videos. Is this one before the fuel tank upgrade? I noticed the fuel gauge was lower than that video previously.
Thanks!!
This is my 23 platinum. My S&B was in my 22. The new limited will be getting the 35 gallon in bed tank..
@@RockyRohde ahhh….you’re right! I forgot about that!
I assume it’s the same concept though, same modules?
I can’t wait to see what you do with the limited! My platinum is scheduled for build next week, so we’ll see!!
There’s no awd module when I scan forscan 2024 sd
Gas engine does not have one
Forscan doesn’t work to recalibrate the speedometer on a 2024 F250 Platinum for 37” wheels. It’s depressing.
Can you show us in forscan where to turn off the thing where the truck beeps at you if you get out while it’s running and shut the door? Most annoying thing ever
It’s in the bcm list.. scroll down and you will see it..
@@RockyRohde ok, thank you! I’m wanting to do this and recalibrate the speedometer on my 2017 f250
Update forscan before running it. The program has got much easier to use.
2799 for the tire circumference keeps a P160a code active on my truck but no light/wrench. 2023 F350 Dually with 4.10 rear end and 37x12.5x20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers - anybody know what will work for this truck? Tried 2790 and 2699 too - same results. Set it back to stock (2429mm for my truck - stock dually tires are only about 31") and was able to clear the code without it coming back. I didn't try 800 random numbers in between because even IF 2699 would have worked, the speedometer would have still been way off. IF we were to change the axle ratio, would other stuff have to be changed too, or just re-learn everything same as when changing tire circumference? It looks like you can pick any number for the axle ratio, so if it's using it for speed calculation, I can figure out the math, just don't want to throw something else off.
Im having the same issue on a 2024 tremor.
Same issue, 2024 Limited with 37” Nittos. 😢
No light or wrench just drive it.. I have done prob 10-12 2024 trucks and Speedo is off 1 mph at 80..
@@RockyRohde I’m getting check engine light
@ride-n-reel 2799 and make sure to follow process exactly on relearn modules. Make sure you have the latest version of Forscan also..
Thank you for this - it worked perfectly on my F250! Enjoy some beer on me. Cheers!
Thanks!!
And it threw all kinds of wrenches when I tried that was a mess I had to just clear the cachet and go back to the original 2689 in the tire there’s something else that has to work
Anyone care to share a completely cleared DTIC screenshot?
I could get the wrench to go away but not the DTIC with 2770 or 2720. 2699 was the largest value I could use to not have a DTIC code.
Followed the same process on my 2020 SD all except for AWD you can skip that step
Awesome, thank you for sharing.
Thanks!
