Again, a great video Alex! Beautiful demonstration of a Love Theme. You asked us what king of a theme we would like and you took our request into account. I appreciate your sensitivity and your composition made me very emotional and brought tears to my eyes... No kidding... Thanks again.
Incredible video, as always. Thank You Alex. May i kindly ask because it would be great if You could make some tutorial even very short about how to program "realistic" sounding runs especially harp runs and gliss figures and of course woodwinds. If You could make some tutorials about this, that would be really nice and very helpfull. Im very often struggle with this :) anyways This video was great as always. Thank You, and im looking forward for next :)
Thanks XeNoS, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I'm definitely going to start making videos on programming MIDI in the future, and harp and woodwind runs sounds like a great idea!
@@AlexHeppelmann Oh Thank You, Its my pleasure if i could suggest You some theme. You know im asking about that because im noticed quite big lacking of this type of content on YT. Its quite easy to find something about "how to sound epic" "how to sound like epic trailer style" ect ..but ehh You know. in my opinion this programming theme would really help. At least for me :P im very often struggling with this, and im more than sure that not only me hehe (i hope) Definitelly, something about programming runs, glisses in orchestra instruments like woodwinds (how to program and orchestrate woodwinds scale runs for example) but also nice would be the same in case of strings, and especially in harp. I will be looking forward as always for this as for every Your works. Thank You :)
Hey Alex, if I learn the fundamentals of composition (composing for orchestra courses) . Will I be able to compose in other genres? ❤ Love your all ❤ videos and your Course.. ❤🎉 Going to buy your course soon waiting for discount!! 😅
My current course in early access (fundamentals of orchestration) is geared towards orchestration, not composition. But future courses will be all about composition, and composing in different styles
Thank you for this Alex - I have been looking at writing film music and this was a great help. Here is my first attempt at a Love Theme - I used BBCSO Core samples driven by Noteperformer but had to settle for the Noteperformer Cor Anglais sound as it is not included in BBC SO Core. ua-cam.com/video/PKcKjdV1nLA/v-deo.html
All 3 orchestrations sound fantastic Alex, but was loved that you did a Vangelis style synth version
I really liked the Vangelis variation!
This video series is BRILLIANT! Shame it doesn't have more views. I sincerely cannot thank you enough for making information like this so accessible.
Glad you enjoyed it!
As always Alex, this is excellent and with your previous videos, you give a really good illustration on how to compose and orchestrate a love theme.
Thanks Mark!
GREAT!

Thank you!
Awesome. Quite informative. Thank you.
Glad you liked it!
amazing video man, what sample library/libraries are you using for the strings?
I actually forget what I used here, haha. I normally use Berlin Strings, but this sounds more like Spitfire Appassionata, I think...
Excellent thx Alex
Thanks for watching!
