There is an unintended consequence to this mass shift in gameplay from spire sites to surface conflicts and that is passenger rescue missions at surface ports. Fdev needs to take out the high reputation requirements for the more lucrative missions since in my experience by the time you build up enough rep to stack those high end missions the Thargoids have been defeated. I Know some will suggest outposts but unfortunately they don't have large landing pads which makes these types of passenger missions terribly inefficient
IIRC Fdev said the ground base conflicts in counter strike systems don't offer missions. So choose your fight carefully if you're all about minmaxing your credits.
I just stack pirate massacre missions. I did the grind for a shard Anaconda just to find out payout is nerfed and then week after week there's no invasions anywhere.
Thanks for the info! Never done anything Thargoid related other than Spire Oreo hunting and Titan wacking. Would love to see a run through on port operations. What's a good build? Shardconda? Titan bomber?
AXCZ builds are closer to solo builds than to Titan builds. The MetaChief does fine in AXCZs. If the site has repairs, you can drop RLC and rack and stack full hull and MRPs.
Modified Guardian Shard Cannons. Available at Prospect’s Deep in the Mbooni system. You will need a permit from Azimuth Biotech to access it. And you will need a truckload of materials to buy them, as these are pay-per-module. But they are the best weapon in the game.
I was busy most of the week and now I've nearly missed ALL the titans. Oh gosh I haven't done a single bombing run, and i've only fought ONE danger daisy and lost...
Oh hey something profitable? Lets do that and ONLY that with the whole wing all day long then brag about it to get it removed. I'd sure love to go blow up an orthrus with some people but every spire is DEAD EMPTY. Thargoid content is already just for 1% of players now it's really just for 1% of the 1%. You must be in THE group when the cool things are happening and if you are not then just enjoy the video. One more thing. titan indra was a JOKE. I got the message it was going down in game, made it there in 20 minutes to find it was already dead. I've never felt so unincluded in a **community** event in a game ever. Oh yea actually one more thing. I've been attacking a counterstrike system by myself non-stop for 2 days now and moved the slider 3%. The thargoids shouldn't care about this random anarchy I'm farming but they protect it apparently 100 times harder than a system they are invading. Because you know, I would be in an invasion system, if there WAS one. sorry for the angry comment mechan I'm gonna write it somewhere
A few things to help with the frustration: - DCoH.watch always has live Titan statistics. If you want more information than in-game messages provide, that’s a great place to source it - Thargoid content is hardly for the 1%, let alone the 1% of the 1% (which, considering player numbers, would be like three people :D). Some of biggest hurdles (Glaives, mats cost of Titan modules) have been removed. Now anyone can buy a Krait and go bomb away, with minimal engineering, at Spires or in TitanSpace. Port AXCZs are not that much harder, with interceptors lacking swarms, and the ability to repeatedly and quickly repair and rearm. - There are lots of groups that are pretty chill and welcome players, some more casual like the AXI, some more dedicated like the XSF - You are not going to make much progress in a single system by yourself. That’s by design, and it’s a good thing. The way the war mechanic has been adjusted focuses on “spread” progress from spire site systems at one particular Titan (Thor from tomorrow). Go fight there, you’ll see real action. - While the exact meltdown moment is not predictable, there’s an entire week leading up to it to cash in for rewards, and the explosion proper is broadcasted 24h in advance with precision So all in all, there’s a lot of ways to avoid that frustration … hope you get to enjoy the campaign vs Thor and beyond!
In-dra is now out-dra
Your update vidoes are turning into flexes of your glorious vacation trips..... not that I mind.
I wish it was vacation! This is work ...
@@Astyrrean Now I am actually kind of envious.
It's been a while since the credits meta aligned with what feels like an intended and fun gameplay mechanic, probably a very healthy thing!

They really need to make the sound effect of the scavengers actually sound like scavengers.Instead of indignant guards.

Nice video, which invaded ground port will you attack with the xsf now friday or saturday, thanks
Check out #defense-discussions in the AXI discord - that has the most up-to-date information
What weapons are the strongest in invasion defense activities ?

@@Astyrrean thanks!!
How do you find the planetary port invasions? Are they all gone today?
They were gone by Sunday. Wait until tomorrow, then check DCoH.watch
They are back, on thursday, probably gone by friday.

Plenty of time to practice before the next one!
Well dressed as always
CMDR mechan? Nah CMDR Drip is more like it lol thanks for the info!
nice info but how to join a group dealing with ground port aliens war, if you have solutions :-)
I've seen your video on the python mk2 tier list, would you saw it's better or worse than the krait for axcz?
Worse, significantly worse.
@@Astyrrean Good to know
I am using the crap out of Python Mk2 right now... It's really fun to be the boost king actually until 3 hunters spawn and it's certain death.
nice pun!
