That's the one I've been wanting but never ordered. One thing to note is if anyone has never shot out of the prone position with full kit on you need to try it out. Those plates changes everything. I've seen folks want to load the front down with two layers of mags and all this other kit. It might work standing up but laying down it's a different story.
4:25 so I’ve had a different experience with my cheek clamp. I’m a slimmer build compared to you and the shoulder straps are terrible for going down range because I feel every shot I fire and it’s painful when shooting consecutively. I had to switch to a k-19 for the same comfort but with thicker straps so I wouldn’t injure myself down range just by shooting
@@foxf6 I’m active duty army.. army issued M4s are almost 20 if not more years old. With my slimmer build using the m4 down range can cause discomfort and possibly injury just by practicing down range which is why I’m switching up kits
@@liljon6286 Hopefully your new rig works out better. Ill be honest all gear is uncomfortable and can possible cause injury’s.. but for real I wonder if something isn’t adjusted right.
@@foxf6 I’ve been working with it every time I’m on range and I always find a deficiency so that proves that nothing is perfect. But with all said aside I hope you find the best fit for you buddy good luck out there
It may cost less than say a crye but that is simply because Crye or any of the trendy carriers with .gov contracts are simply ripping off the taxpayer. One key element you missed is Shellback offers a lifetime guarantee. For my money Shellback is not “just as good” it is Better regardless of cost.
@@camopirate5629 well said. I own several pair of knockoff crye pants and I assure you they are the same pants. Either way with some things you can definitely beat the system.

That’s wild, wouldn’t think the thin shoulder strap would cause issues? What rifle are you using?

I can't imagine how you feel target shooting without a carrier 😅
but where is a store that stocks them. that is not on a government military base?
i am in northern cal.
@@larryjanson4011 i would just call your local shop and have them order it for you.
