    Hey I’m just throwing in with others I see that suffer from dandruff/dermatitis. I would like to see what you think/recommend. I bought the trinity pack and just started it. I’m mixing in my anti-fungal nizoral (not otc) when I shampoo. For any other sufferers on here I’ll post how it works. Also wanted to thank you for your videos! I never knew how to properly take care of my hair/scalp. I didn’t know about massaging the scalp to clean it and it definitely is helping. I also use fluocinide around the scalp edge. Good luck to everyone on here.

    You are my saving grace!! I am so glad I came across your videos!! I've learnt more from you than years and years of going to different hair salons that always promise the best products lol and believe me it's been a disheartening quest! I suffer from complex PTSD so there is strike 1 against me due to having extreme cortisol levels and certain medications. Second strike is I have fine hair, and from watching your videos everything I've been told I need to do has been COMPLETELY wrong! I thought things might have been looking good as I had my son a year ago and my hair is the longest it's been in years not to mention thick, now I know they say you lose all the locks you gained when pregnant but I didn't experience that too badly and I've still kept the length. It's just in the last month I've noticed when i was my hair now, I'm getting clumps of hair coming out as well as when I brush my hair. It's absolutely killing me because it makes my already low self esteem even worse which is just the fun of complex ptsd (just in case, that was sarcasm lol).
    Thank you for the work you do! I Love your videos and will probably have watched all by the end of the day lol! 😅

    If you're not supposed to shampoo your lengths, how do you remove the buildup from them so your hair can absorb moisturizer?

    • @Anniakarenjina
      @Anniakarenjina Рік тому +22

      When you put the shampoo on your roots, the product will deep clean your scalp, which is the area with the most build up and with SEBUM, which is way less on your lenghts. When you rinse the hair, the foam from the shampoo migrates on your lenghts and it cleanses them as well on its way. So, basically, you start where there is the most buildup(scalp) and the shampoo does its job where there is less buildup too(on the lenghts and ends). If you insisted on putting more shampoo on the lenghts, you would strip your hair unnecessarily and dry it out.
      If you see a very noticeable amount of buildup on your lenghts that exists because of your hair products, it means they aren’t suited for your hairtype or they just aren’t good.

I’ve used the Redken clarifying shampoo, pureology leave in conditioner and olaplex oil and nothing really keeps it from the weird effect that happens to my hair. For example if i throw my hair over and brush my hair and then flip my hair back and try to run my finger through it, it’s like thick cotton. I never use styling products, i air dry. • @melaniephillips8556
      @melaniephillips8556 4 місяці тому

      Yes clarifying shampoo first. You want to get that oil and junk out first so you can remove it and rinse it away. Then with your second wash it'll be easier to wash off the rest of your hair and rinse that buildup down the drain. Using the stronger one first allows the product to work like it should and have nothing (like other shampoos) preventing your clarifying shampoo from getting into your scalp. I had a similar question because I was using a bond repair hair growth shampoo with a purple toning shampoo. The way it was explained to me is if I used the purple first then that buildup would be left on my scalp/ hair preventing the hair growth and repairing ingredients from penetrating my hair follicles and scalp by using it second.

      Wash twice in the same day/ wash. It's called double washing and is extremely recommended with any kind of shampoo you use. Just don't double wash with clarifying. Clarify first then wash with your other shampoo right after you wash with your clarifying wash then condition

      Hey Giulia! Shampoo's job is to remove excess oil and buildup. And if you have dry scalp then it sounds like it's removing a bit too much oil. I would try washing less often to let your scalp re-hydrate or switch to a sulfate free shampoo. Or if you've always struggled with dry scalp I would see a dermatologist to help with this 👍

It seems to have helped take the weird residue I’m left with after showering. I’ll only use this once a week. I also learned using glycerin based hair products in dry climate will suck the moisture right out as humid weather would lock it in. Interesting! I won’t be using glycerin products anymore. Oh! I bought a water filter for shower and that also helps clean hair better
