What paths do you find yourself going down that often end in pornography use / what things are temptations? Block, mute, and unfollow foolish accounts. You don't need that nonsense in your life. 6. Consider the underlying brokenness that leads one to porn usage. Recognize the importance of having an awareness that God meets our needs and all pornography does is destroy one's life. Rather than giving into the same useless temptation, use that underlying brokenness as a drive to grow / improve spiritually, mentally, and physically. 7. Develop a meaningful prayer life. Be serious and intentional about it. It is difficult to overstate the importance of this central Christian discipline in building spiritual strength, growing in relationship with God, and growing in one's Christian walk in general. 8. GET IN THE SCRIPTURES!!! A very important text to consider is Psalm 119:9 which says ""How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word." Similar to prayer, getting in the Scriptures is a key central Christian discipline for one to know God more deeply, understand His promises more and more, and be spiritually fed and strengthened. 9. If you aren't sure where to start, consider the Proverbs (very great to cultivate wisdom) and the Gospel of John 10. Get plugged in at a faithful church. Join a small group and make the effort to be around brothers in Christ.
And to add a bit here: Porn affects your dopamine and, therefore, motivation and ability to achieve negatively Porn lowers your testosterone. The most effective way to raise your testosterone, enabling you to handle stress, be motivated, and feel good in life is by going without masterbaiting. Up to 300% increase in only a few days, iirc. Andrew Huberman has more data on it. Really fascinating, it helped me.

To the scripture reading point; memorize scripture that you can recall and repeat to yourself when you feeling weak and tempted. Some good ones. Job 31:1, Prov ch1-ch7 (written to men to steer clear from evil woman, strange woman, enticing woman). 1 Co 10:13, 1 John 2:16-17, Psalm 23:1, Romans 6, 7, 8... and so on! God knows men struggle with these things, and so, he has provided his word to strengthen us and provide the wisdom we need to live godly.
I've been in this bondage more so on masturbation and even though I've quit pornography since February of thie year but i haven't authentic to quitting. I admit that. Even towards my accountability partner. I haven't been looking at porn on my phone or computer so that's an absolute plus. Its everywhere but the way I should look at it is instead of trying to quit, honor God with my actions toward him. I have to be more serious on this issue and where my walk has been leading me. It could send me to prison if i don't stop. I've been trying. Continue to pray for me on this issue. Thank you! Edit: i did send a text to my accountability partner about me not being authentic and realizing of my mistakes. I haven't been the whole time until now.
Try pray and fasting...break the stronghold of that particular sin. In scripture it says there are certain demonic strongholds that cannot be cast out unless it's through fasting and praying. Don't overthink it, just do it! 24hrs, water only; read your Bible, listen to worship music and spend time with the Lord, and ask for deep deliverance. Praying for you.
My advice would be to not have your phone in your room at nights. It’s hard but we have to be aggressive towards lust because it can destroy your life.

Thank you Isaac. I am done with being under Satan's bondage. I have a girlfriend who isn't Christian and it's hard for her to keep me accountable as she doesn't understand the weight of the sin. I have been hiding for too long and it has gotten me depressed and distorted my idea of God. I want to be a faithul man of God and I believe that God can use me for great works. This is the first step to a very long and fulfilling relationship with God. You don't know how much this means to me. Stay strong everyone!

Covenant eyes helps blocking sites that offer porn, some things it cant block like apps and even in removing those apps its made little difference in my life, and the shame i thought i would feel from having an accountability partner isnt even there, i still find ways though i try to cut them out. My prayers are like Davids, i need his help and i ask and ask and ask and i know that he loves me, i dont think a woman would fix this problem because a woman doesnt fix sin, Jesus fixes sin but its like hes just watching me. He's moving magnificently in other areas of my life but in this i struggle. Ive read the entirety of the Word, i love the Word, but the enemy prevails over me rn.
Today on my way to work I realized how incredibly objectifying lusting over women was, please pray for me that the Lord will continue softening my heart to see His female image bearers is exactly that.

Don't know what you're going through but whatever struggle you have with sin should never cause you to want to commit. If you're distraught over being a sinner...don't be. You're never going to be better or worse than anyone else compared to God. It's OK that you struggle and sin, your guilt shows you truly care. This sin can't separate you from God, and it doesn't make you any worse than anyone else.

I have tried all those, it's not about new lifestyle change or social behavior, it's all about you as a person and self dignity and above all being righteousness in the eyes of God. Unfortunately I don’t know any of the apps but most search browsers do have that feature on them in settings google has “safe search” for instance
