here's a strat: take settlement, keep ivresse, use 120 influence to buy an incendiary fire mage, farm orcs in the badlands for lord exp and warden supplies and only invest in ivresse. you now have 2 strong lords and a developed athel tamara. kill wurzaag, kill skarbrand. sell lands to dwarfs and go dominate ulthuan from there.
I think it's a little dumb how Eltharion is basically the only Legendary lord not only of the high elves but all the factions to have a self-tailored and unique army exclusively to himself. He already has the prison stuff and other unique buffs to him. In comparison, it feels pretty bad to play any other high elf lord and see just how the coolest chunk of the roster if missing.
It´s a trap with 25000 gold pieces for Yvresse. That´s a raw trade. Keep it. Continue against Top knotz. Take Galbaraz and you can juice the gold from there with Oathsworn goldmine.
Elves are my favorite army, they are just good at everything and the archers eat armies alive. Sisters of avelorn are beasts and delete entire units in 2 volleys
Why do you prioritize victory conditions so much? You'll reach that naturally during 'paint the map' approach. Just confederating Tyrion is at least as beneficial as short victory buff, and you can do that much sooner with 120 influence and relations benefits from fighting enemies on Ulthuan.
that's terrible advice. don't dismiss the ulthuan army. take the rest of the province, take southern yvresse as well, farm some islands and move north to take on n'kari and northern ulthuan including shrine of khaine. meanwhile kick ass with Eltharion & Cavill in the badlands, kill top knots, malagor, wurzzag, skarbrand, contact imrik for future confederation, send someone down to get teclis, send eltharion back to get sword of khaine. you can do whatever since then, you are unbeatable

Yep they need to update the units as well, the Faithbears are extremely lacking for how expensive they are

Great guide, but a bit "gamey" with the whole Yvresse shuffle. Each to his own, I guess...
